Ava's POV

Davina lay on the bed with her eyes closed and I held her hand. Skye sat beside her looking intently at her.

Camila placed her hand on my shoulder giving me support.

Slowly Davina opened her eyes. "Mum?" She said trying to sit up and Skye helped her up.

"Davina," I said tears choking my throat as I pulled her closer to me.

"Are you alright?" I asked her as I pulled her studying her.

"Yes mum," she said looking around. "Why's everyone staring at me?" She asked hiding her face in Skye's chest.

"How're you feeling Davina?" Skye asked.

"I feel weak dad." She said.

"She's alright now. She's no longer in the possession of the demon king. She's free." Mariya said and I heaved a sigh of relief.

Anna's POV

Davina was allowed to rest again and I walked down the stairs to find the sorcerer Mariya sitting with a glass of water.

"Come child," she said taking notice of my presence. I was reluctant. "Come child, don't be scared." She said and I moved to where she was.

I remembered her words about me dying for the alpha and his queen. What a sorcerer who did not need to hold hands to know what was going on in someone's life.

I sat opposite her and she smiled. She must have been a beautiful woman while younger though, missing her front teeth.

"You must have a lot of questions to ask me." She said and I nodded. "Go on I'm all ears." She said still smiling.

Okay, maybe she needed to stop smiling now. It was giving me goosebumps.

"I do not understand what you said earlier. How am I meant to die for this family?" I asked.

She chuckled. "It is your destiny child. It is in your stars. Written and clear. Do you remember when the alpha saved you?" She asked me and I nodded. If he had not come to my rescue, I would have been dead.

"He saved you so you can save him later in life." She said.

"Save him?" I asked her. "Save him from what? What does the alpha need saving from?" I asked curiously and also perplexed.

She smiled. "Child, you've always saved them. If not for you, they won't be united. In soon time, you will understand what your destiny is." She said and I felt confused and distant.

Ava and Skye walked into the living room.

"Mariya, there are some certain things we want to find out," Skye said and she nodded.

"Do tell me alpha." She said.

"The demon king is out of Davina but his spirit is still out there roaming. How do we find him and stop him?" Skye asked.

"You do not need to go in search of him, alpha. He'll be back and you shall be ready." She said.

"Ready? How? How do we defeat him again?" Ava asked.

"The same way you killed him but this time, you must do it together," Mariya said with a nod.

"But his defeat should be under the blood moon and the blood moon only arises once in a decade," Skye said to her.

She nodded. "The blood moon shall arise again in this decade. This is what the demon king is not aware of. That is why he'd be back thinking he can defeat you all." She said.

Ava looked confused. "How will the blood moon arise again? How is it possible to have two blood moons in a decade?" She asked.

Mariya laughed. "The same way two pure white wolves are in a century. Pure white wolves are born every one hundred years my queen but you have broken history by giving forth a child as true as you." She explained.

"When shall the blood moon rise?" Skye asked.

"Tomorrow alpha. By nightfall, the blood moon shall arise. The ancestors want the demon king defeated once and for all. The demon king will be here before nightfall, you have to get prepared alpha." She said and I sat there wondering how was it all going to be done.

It was night already and every pack member would want to be in bed. But now, there will be no sleep tonight.

"Robin," Skye called out. Robin walked down the stairs and towards him. "Prepare the warriors Robin, there shall be no sleep tonight." He said and Robin nodded and went away. Just like I predicted, there shall be no sleep tonight.

Clark's POV

I awoke in my body and I felt new and afresh again in the cave I built all these years ago. I had everything carefully planned out before. All I needed was the hands of a young and unstained child with a pure heart to do the work for me and it was successful. I was finally in my own powerful body, all healed up.

I had carefully maintained my body while I was in the crescent pack house, that was my number one mission, to come back and destroy Terra in my own body.

How callous can a father be? I chuckled. My demon would not let me act as a father. This was who I am. A blood sucking venomous demon and indeed it was hard for me to change my ways. I would never be able to change my ways. This was me. This was who I am. I am Clark Forest, the demon king. Feared among the supernatural and the humans.

Now that I have my body back, it was time to destroy Ava Nicholas and all her household and everything she loves. I said and burst into an evil laughter.

There would be no mercy this time. I was lenient on her because she is my daughter but she didn't hesitate to thrust her sword into me and make it difficult for me to ever transform again.

I would never be able to become a serpent again until I have had a pure white wolf as a meal.

I will devour my daughter with no remorse and devour her son too and double all my demon powers.

I would wipe out the entire blood moon pack and crescent pack. There will be no one left. No one will tell the story. No one will remember the two packs ever existed. I will make sure of that. I promised myself.

Tomorrow, I will take them by surprise and taunt them. Nothing could stop me. There wasn't going to be a blood moon till another five years. I will defeat my daughter once and for all.
