Ava's POV

Robin had arranged some warriors from the blood moon pack to help in my cause.

Everything had been planned and by noon,we stormed the crescent woods taking Fernandez and his minions unawares.

He had an awful expression on his face when he saw me.

"We meet again old friend." He said finally with an hardened smile.

"We meet again Fernandez." I replied as we circled each other.

Skye stood beside me sword drawn as the rest of the blood moon pack surrounded his minions.

"You've come back after five years." He said jeering.

"To make you fall by the edge of my sword." I said to him.

He chuckled and smirked. "It will be difficult." He said.

"But,it'll happen." I said and with that attacked him and the rest of the pack attacked his minions and some of my pack members were fighting the blood moons. Why?

Fernandez and I clashed swords, rolled over dirt,swerve from the impacts of the swords upon our skin.

"You cannot defeat me, Ava. I'm no longer the boy you knew years ago." He said.

"And I'm no longer the Ava you knew as your best friend." I said and he charged towards me. I lowered my head avoiding his sharp blade.

Skye and the other blood moon pack had already brought down Fernandez minion. Only I and Fernandez were left on the battlefield.

Skye made attempts to come help me as Fernandez blade graze my arm but I stopped him. "He's mine." I said.

"I'm all yours love." He said and I heard Skye growl. With quick and hastened steps,I rushed towards him. "This is for trying to ruin my family." I said and before he could escape from my sword,I lowered beneath him and sliced through his arm with my sword.

He staggered back and before he could regain his balance,I gave him another cut in that same place my sword cut through.

"I do not know what has come over you but today,you shall meet your end." I said to him.

"Go to hell." He spluttered.

"That's where you deserve to be." I said and with one lasting yell,I striked him,burying my sword deep in his stomach. "For taking Anna's powers away." I said and he smirked with bloodstained teeth as he fell to the ground and bled to death.

"You messed with the wrong pack." I said kicking his dead body.

"Ava." Uncle called out to me.

"Uncle!" I yelled. I was over joyous to see him.

He held me in his arms tightly to himself as I heard the people chanting. "Long live the alpha. Defender of the defenseless." They said and bowed.

It brought tears to my eyes as I pulled away from uncle.

There was jubilation and merriment in the pack house. They were now properly dressed with huge smiles on their faces.

Every now and then,I wipe away tears from my eyes. Skye placed his arm around me without saying a word and I could feel his soothing presence.

"You two have finally made up." Uncle said as he came closer to Skye and I.

Skye held me possessively. "And never to separate again." He said.

Uncle nodded. "Good," he said and turned to me.

"Ava,where are my grandchildren?" He asked me.

"In the house uncle." I said to him.

"Bring them to me, Ava. I have not laid eyes on them dames since they were born." He said shaking his head.

"I'll bring them uncle. I'll definitely bring them." I said. We were finally free. Free from the chains of fernandez and free from the chaos of Natasha. We were free indeed.

By the time we returned to the house,The children were fast asleep.

"How did it go?" Camila asked urgently.

"Fernandez is dead and the pack is safe." I said and she heaved a sigh of relief. "Thank goodness." She said.

I walked up to Anna and held her. "I'm sorry killing him did not bring back your powers." I apologized.

She shrugged and smiled sadly. "If it's the will of the ancestors,then I shall surely have it." She said. I nodded in understanding. She was trying to be strong.

"With our enemies out of the way,it's time to return to the pack house queen Ava." Robin said and I looked at Skye and he nodded.

"That's the rightful place you belong. The children belong. We all belong." He said and he had a point.

"Mum,why is Luna packing up?" Davina asked the next morning while I was in the kitchen.

I lowered to her height. "How would you like to go to the pack house?" I asked her with a smile.

"Whose pack house mum?" She asked curiously.

"Your father's pack house Davina. He's the alpha of the blood moon remember?" I said and she nodded.

"You'd like to be with you father,don't you?" I asked her and she nodded again. "Then go upstairs and help Luna pack hm." I said to her and she kissed my cheek and went towards the stairs with a yell.

"Luna,I'm coming to help you pack!" She said in a bubbling voice and I chuckled.

Skye walked in with Dahviel. "He wants his mother." He said. "Why?" I asked as I reached out for him. Dahviel buried his head on Skye's shoulder.

Skye chuckled. "Guess he doesn't want his mother anymore." He said and I frowned at him. "Nice try." I said.

"Hey little wolf,do you want to have a good day with father in the pack house?" Skye asked him and he nodded.

"Then let's go pack up." He said letting go of the boy. "Will you come along?" Dahviel asked.

"Yes. Once I finish having a discussion with your mother." He said and Dahviel went towards the stairs.

I turned back to the sausage I was about sizzling. "What discussion do you want to have?" I asked him.

He wrapped his arms around me and inhaled deeply and my breath caught. "Skye!" I exclaimed.

"The child doesn't want his mother but I do." He said tracing his fingers towards my bosom. I slapped his hand away knowing the sensations he was creating.

"It's been so long. Why deny me the pleasure of holding you in my arms again." He said his lips on my neck. "Stop, Skye." I said despite my body responding to his touch.

"I don't want to." He said,his lips still trailing my neck.

"Dad?" I heard Dahviel's voice and I immediately broke the contact between us.

"Son?" Skye said turning to his direction. "Can we go pack together?" He asked innocently.

"Sure." Skye said scooping her into his arms. "We're not done." He said to me and I rolled my eyes at him with a smile as he walked away.

We arrived at the blood moon pack house with all necessary belongings of ours taken from the house.

We walked into a royal welcome we had no idea was organized.

"We welcome the alpha, his queen and their children." They said bowing down on their knees.

"We're indeed sorry for doubting our queen and the ill treatment given to her by this pack." They said again apologizing.

Skye looked at me and I nodded. "Rise." He said and they did.

"I've long forgiven you all. You're my people and it is wrong for a queen to hold grudges against her people. Your plea for forgiveness has been granted." I said and they cheered.

"The alpha and his queen shall reign forever." They said.
