Chapter 82: Chapter 82
KATHERINE
It was already getting dark, when Katherine drove back to her hotel.
Just like earlier today, her mind still wasn't on the road, and she was busy thinking about her plan with Madison.
After the meeting she had concluded with her men, she felt much better. Mostly because it felt like she was finally back on track, and also because she was finally taking that first huge step in her revenge on Madison.
Damn, she was feeling so good about this. After her men had informed her of Damien's intention of getting back with Madison, she had been beyond furious, and that’s what literally spurred her to up her plans.
She could not lose her relationship with Damien, and worse still not to that bitch.
She couldn't help but marvel at Madison's audacity. Spending the night in his fucking hotel room? What the hell? Katherine scoffed, as she thought internally.
It was obvious that the bitch was trying to play smart, but Katherine would make sure she outsmarted her. Yes! Madison was desperately trying to play the victim in all this, and then she would bring Damien over to her side and use him as her meal ticket to get out of that dump she was living in.
A fucking gold digger, that's what she was, Katherine seethed, and damn if she didn’t make sure to teach her a lesson she would never forget.
Thankfully when she had brought the topic concerning the kidnap, her men had nodded in unison and agreement, and they even began to ask for more details of the plan.
Having a brief flashback in her head, she recounted just how they’d talked, and what they’d discussed afterwards.
"We have to pick the perfect time for the assignment.” Katherine had announced, and continued, "Preferably on her way to work or on the way back. Thankfully that street she lives in looks so slimy and silent, so it won’t be a problem getting somewhere silent. Then when you have her tied up and kept in a safe house, you are to begin the torture, or I might carry it out myself." A chill of excitement had run down her spine at the prospect of inflicting pain on Madison, and as the words fell from her lips, it almost felt like a dream come true… one she just couldn't wait for.
Winking, her lips curled up in a smile at the same time, Katherine thought ruefully about the whole things she’d do to Madison Connor. She couldn't wait to deal with that bitch at all, and surely when she was done with her, the bitch would regret ever crossing her path, Katherine promised within herself.
She would regret ever meeting Damien, or trying to come back in his life. At a point, Katherine even thought of killing her immediately, and putting an end to everything happening, but no she wanted to torture her. She craved it so much, and again she needed Madison to make her cry her lungs out while she watched.
Damn!
"All that you just said, would be carried out just as you have said.” The gang leader assured Katherine after a while, nodding at the same time, "But what happens after that? Would you like us to kill and dispose of her body?" He finished, saying just what she’d been thinking about.
Katherine without telling him that she’d been having that thought, began to consider it again for the second time. She didn’t know what would happen next, apart from Madison not disturbing Damien ever again, but Katherine was just to excited at the thought to even think of the repercussions and what could happen to her if she was caught.
The killing idea, would be more than perfect actually. But after the man had asked, and she thought about it again she had decided that they won’t kill her so easily.
She would think about it, and since she had lots of time to make up her mind, she would be able to make a better decision. She would take her time, and do just as much as she pleased.
So turning to the gang leader she said, "No! When I give the go ahead, you’ll just do as I said and leave the rest of the plans to me. As for killing the bitch, I'll think about it, and also get back to you."
She would definitely get back to him concerning the killing part, but now that issue of torture was the most important. It was a part she would have the most fun with, and the part she had also been waiting for.
When she was done, that bitch would regret ever coming into this world. Katherine would make her beg for death, before even pulling the last trigger.
Smiling widely to herself, Katherine drove through a bend in the road, and she started to chuckle, a laugh bubbling up her throat, as she recalled all plans she had made.
It was perfect just as she hoped, and she vowed to enjoy every moment of her revenge. That would teach the bitch never to go anywhere close to her man next time, and that was if there was even a next time.
Katherine had a feeling that killing the whore off would be the best thing to do. But anyway, she had enough time to make up her mind, carry out her decision swiftly and just be rid of her.
She was so giddy with excitement that she decided that, she needed a celebration of some kind tonight.
She needed to have some fun, and for that she knew just who to call. Smiling, she picked up her phone and proceeded to dial the number of the most recent man she had met at the club.
She was in the mood for some wine and rough sex so… why not? Lately, the only thing that had been keeping her fire burning was going out clubbing, and having one night stands with hot men that fucked the brains out of her. The sex made her feel needed, and it took her mind off everything else.
Right now, she needed to think of something else obviously, celebrate and be in the masculine arms of a human, so who was she to say no to that?
She dialed the man’s number, and a frown was etched on her lips when he didn't pick up at the first ring.
Katherine hated calling people she considered insignificant more than once, as she didn't want them thinking they were worth leaving a missed call for.
Another thing she also hated was being ignored, and it was evident now that she was being ignored. Well she had no choice.
She needed this man so bad, and again he did know how to pleasure her. The last time with him, had been splendid and she was already looking towards another night with him.
The guy was well experienced, and he had something that she would need tonight to cool off her nerves.
Hissing loudly and trying his number again, luckily this time he did pick up and she bit her lips excitedly, when the sound of his husky voice filled the speakers.
He had the kind of voice that Katherine longed for in a man - Low and controlling. She swallowed, already beginning to drool at the thought of the things he would do to her tonight.
"I thought you'd never call.” He whispered and she laughed coyly, saying that she had been making up her mind to do so.
They continued to talk, with Katherine laughing at intervals as she rolled a strand of her hair between her fingers.
He was quite charming because Katherine became so lost in the conversation that she didn't notice the large incoming truck honking loudly. She quickly swerved to the right, barely avoiding the truck and saving her life at the same time.
Cursing under her breath, she held her phone closer to her ear and continuing to drive, she spoke to the man.
"So what do you think about coming over to my place tonight?" She whispered seductively, and it seemed he didn't need to think twice about it, because he immediately agreed, asking her to send her address to him.
Katherine laughed, asking him to hold on while she did so, and when she was done, she brought the phone back to her ear.
Before she hung up, she asked him to bring some hard drugs along with him.
"I didn't take you for that type mamie.” He laughed, sounding a little surprised, "But for sure I’ll bring anything you want. It just made you a hundred times sexier. Which do you want? Cocaine or…”
“Bring cocaine. I’ve had some of that white powdery stuff, and I really love it.” Katherine but in before he could even finish, and he chuckled, finishing with a whisper, “Sure I'll bring some cocaine.”
“See ya.” She said curtly, smiling and hanging up, she threw her phone on the car seat besides her.
Just what she wanted for the night, that’s what’s she was going to get.
Some good ol sex, a man in her arms and so much drugs to make her feel intoxicated and pleasured. The drugs would do her some good.
They helped calm all the voices in her head, and it had been a while since she'd had some.
After she’d been introduced to it by that stranger some days back, she hadn’t had any again and she was already itching for a new sniff.
Smiling widely in anticipation, she stepped harder on her ignition, increasing the car’s speed as she zoomed off to the hotel.
…….
Madison jumped from her bed, gasping for air as she surveyed her surroundings.
She was soaked in sweat from head to toe, and she could still feel the rapid beating of her heart in her chest.
Her hands shook with fear as she struggled to desperately to catch her breath, her eyes zoning in still on her surroundings and it dawned on that she’d just had a nightmare.
A nightmare that had seemed so real, and she clutched at her chest, grateful that what she’d just seen and gone through was only a dream. She didn’t even understand it, but at the same time she couldn’t shake off the feeling that something bad was around the corner. Something bad was about to happen.
Goosebumps spread over her skin as she remembered the dream, the images splashing through her head in bits and pieces.
She had been in a wide empty space on her knees, and above her a woman had stood, pointing a gun to her forehead and threatening to kill her. Madison had begged but to no avail, as all her pleas obviously fell on deaf ears.
She hadn't been able to catch a glimpse of the woman's face in the dream, but what troubled her was the fact that she recognized the woman's voice from somewhere. Try as she might, Madison could not just put her finger on it.
She couldn't remember at all, but she was more than certain that she had heard the voice from somewhere, in real life that is.
As she had continued to beg, the woman had pulled the trigger, the blaring sound filling the empty building and that was when Madison had jolted awake.
A second round of goosebumps spread on her skin as the sound of the gunshot reverberated in her mind, and closing her eyes tightly, she thanked the heavens again that it had all been a dream.
Getting out of bed and down on her knees, she said a short prayer, her words heavy as she begged and appealed to God. He was the only one she had now, and she needed his protection and guidance now more than ever.
Sobbing still, she prayed profusely and by the time she was done, she was sweating heavily again.
As she climbed back to her bed and wiped at her sweaty face with the tank top she was wearing, she laid back gently, trying to get some sleep, but just like she’d known, slumber was proving to be so difficult.
She didn't feel sleep coming back, and after a few minutes of turning and tossing, Madison gave up, laying on her back and instead facing the ceiling.
Her mind began to wander to the events of the past few days, and letting out a loud sigh she remembered encountering Damien.
Just thinking about him again, and the events that had ensued between them, put her in a somber mood.
She wondered once again why her past had come back to haunt her? Just what?
Everything was going just fine in her life, at least it’d been, so now why all this? Why did Damien didn’t just forget about her again? No, he had to show up all of a sudden in London, and now he was putting her in this position? She just needed to rest. But no…everything was happening all at once.
She was exhausted… She was tired and she just wished it would all end.
All this agony, subtle reminder of the past, and the incessant thinking was just too much to handle.
A tear sliding down her cheeks, Madison’s shoulders began to tremble, as she began to cry anew again.
What had she done to deserve all this? She kept asking herself over and over again, but there was no answer and the question was just rhetoric.
Seeing Damien just reminded her of everything. The fact that he had once hated her, their time together in the past, their breakup, their child that she’d lost and… Madison sobbed louder, burying her head in her pillow as she sobbed away all her misery.
As she lowered herself into her bed, all the pain returning at full speed, she cried herself back to sleep.
