Chapter 99: Chapter 99
“Hello, Sir!!” Theodore forwarded his hand toward Brandon for a handshake. Brandon looked at his hand for a while before finally shaking the hand.
“Have we met before?” Brandon questioned. “Your scent is familiar,” he added in confusion. Theodore recalled the moment when Inigo had stabbed his wolf. So, practically they never met, right? It was their wolf.
“I don’t think so, Sir!!” Theodore replied, and he felt goosebumps all over his body when he heard a loud painful scream of Liara.
“You okay?” Brandon asked because Theodore’s hand was still in his hand, and he sensed Theodore felt something all of a sudden.
“Yes, sir!!” Theodore agreed, pulling his hand from his grip.
“Babe, she is my mom!! Mom is…”
“My another son.” Sophia Haysbert said, cutting Tiara in between. Theodore couldn’t say immediately, but those three words won his heart. Theodore looked at her carefully; she was an older version of Liara except for her hair. Liara had red hair because of her wolf, while Sophia’s hair was blonde.
“Hello, Ma’am” Theodore forwarded his hand toward her, but she smiled and reached her hand toward his cheek. She placed it over his cheek before speaking.
“Call me Mom, Theo.” His lips curved a little, hearing this, but soon that curve disappeared when he heard the second painful scream of Liara.
Tiara whistled before speaking, “I see; Mom already gave you a green card.” She said in a teasing tone and on which Sophia smacked her arms. “Why is Lee not here? Doesn't she know that we are coming home?” She asked.
“You know her!! She was feeling nervous and tensed about all this, so she planned to stay in her room.” Sophia replied. “Anyway, come inside!!” She added next.
Brandon was observing each and every move of Theodore’s silently. He was planning to make him stay here and test him in every way possible to see whether he was good for his daughters or not. More than Tiara, he was worried for Liara.
He wouldn’t be able to handle anyone mistreating her in anyways because after his wife, her youngest daughter had a heart of gold that was filled with kindness. And he knew people like them get hurt in the worst way possible by their loved ones. He didn’t want to recall his story, where Sophia was betrayed by both her family members and the person whom she loved.
A part of Brandon felt relaxed when he found Theodore looking for someone, and looking especially in one direction of his Mansion where Liara was.
