Chapter 100: Chapter 100

Theodore didn’t want to settle on the couch and talk with them. He wanted to talk with Liara as soon as possible, but immediately, he felt a pang of pain in his heart, which made his knee weak for a second. He sat on the couch for support.

Inigo howled in pain when he felt that pain while Theodore grabbed the leather of the couch tightly. The next, they heard Liara’s scream again.

‘She rejected us.’ Inigo whimpered in pain. ‘She… she broke the bond from her end.’ He added. ‘This happened all because of me. Only if I wouldn’t have marked Tiara, she wouldn’t have got hurt to this extent.’ He kept saying in pain.

As much as Theodore wanted to blame him for this rejection. He knew that he didn’t have any right to do this because if Inigo had made a couple of mistakes, then he wasn't a saint either. They both had hurt Liara to this extent that the girl who didn’t want to reject them and always used to talk about ‘a chance to US’ wouldn’t have lost her hope in that chance.

They had pushed her to the extent that she ended up taking this step.

‘Last time, you weren’t ready to give up on us, Lia. No matter how rude and cold I was toward you. This time, I won’t leave you. I won’t accept this rejection. NEVER. I will give that lady a chance to pair you with someone else by giving you a second chance mate.’ Theodore swore, and Inigo agreed with him.

“Water,” A helper reached near him with a glass of water. Theodore picked up the glass, and after drinking the water, he returned the glass to her.

“I would like to meet my other mate, Liara.” He said, standing on his feet. Brandon arched his eyebrow when he sensed that Theodore was practically telling them, not taking permission from him, at his house. “Please!!” Theodore added, recalling how Liara had taught him, ‘Sorry, Please, and Thank you!! These are the most valuable words. It makes you succeed or fail in your life.’

“Sure. That…”

“I will take you,” Tiara said, cutting Brandon in between.

“Tee!! Stay here. There is no need to act like the third wheel in their first meeting.” Sophia said, holding excitement of Tiara. “Theo, come with me.”

‘One more reason to like Lia’s Mom.’ Theodore thought, sighing in relief, and followed Sophia. He had already figured out which could be Liara’s room but roaming in their house on his own, that, too, during the first visit would look a bit weird.

“Lee!!” Sophia knocked on Liara's room after reaching there and looked at Theodore, “She is different from Tee. So, you need to be patient with her to understand and know her.” Theodore nodded his head, and after opening the door, Liara didn’t wait to stay there and show her red eyes to her mother. She went in the other direction.

“I will leave you two alone for a while,” Sophia said with a smile and left from there. Once she left, Theodore walked into her room, which smelt just like her. He closed the door behind her and looked at her back because she was looking outside.

“Lia!!” He mustered all his courage to talk with her finally. He couldn’t understand where he should start. “Lia, I…” Words died in his mouth when she turned her head toward him, looking directly into his eyes. No, her red eyes didn’t affect him that much, but the coldness in her eyes killed all the words that he was supposed to say.

The eyes which used to get twinkle at his arrival were now staring at him without any emotion.

‘Did my reaction and my behavior used to hurt her in the same way before?’ He questioned himself.

“Lia…

“Get out!!” She said coldly. “Get out of my room before I create any scene.”

“Please give me a chance….” Theodore tried to talk with her, but Liara went toward the door and opened it to kick him out of her room. Theodore knew if he would say anything now, then her father might hear him. He wasn't scared of getting caught, but he wanted to talk with her before that.

At that moment, he didn’t have any other option than to leave. He recalled those times when she used to search for him during his first month in the pack, and he used to run away from her because he didn’t want to talk with her. Maybe he was receiving the punishment for that part.

Once he was out, Liara slammed the door in his face. ‘From opening the door for me to kicking me out.’ He mentally laughed at how the table had turned.
