“Mother Selene!! You scared the shit of me. What the hell were you thinking by acting like you were dead for hours?” Alaric cried in happiness. He knew that Theodore wasn’t a hugger; still, he lunged for him to hug him because the moment Inigo grabbed his hand, he started shifting back into his human form.

“I thought to pull out silver bullets from your body when you weren’t responding, but surprisingly, I couldn’t find them in your body,” Alaric said, breaking the hug. “Do you know what happened to those bullets?”

“I wish I would have known,” Theodore mumbled, still trying to recover from all the things that happened in his life. “I want to stay alone, Alaric.”

“I won’t….”

“I’m not requesting,” Theodore said, cutting Alaric in between. “I bet you would have a lot of work rather than babysitting me.” Though it was true there were a lot of things that he had to do, but he didn’t want to leave his friend’s side too. Not when Theodore himself didn’t know how he was going to behave, act or react.

“Artemis, Liara’s Brother in law, suggested that if I want to keep the remaining vampires safe, then I should consult the vampire King and report revealing what was happening in the coven for ages. We might get punishment, but our lives will be spared.” Alaric spoke, but Theodore didn’t give any reaction. “Talk to me, Beasty!! What is eating you up? I can’t help you until you open your mouth.”

“Then don’t help me. I don’t need anyone’s help.” Theodore sneered.

“Are you mad at Liara and me that we shot you?” Alaric kept talking even though Theodore didn’t want to stay alone because even though he had a lot of work. It was morning already, and after a cloudy day and rainy night, the sun was shining brightly. So, he had no work till evening.

“You both shot me?” Theodore questioned him in shock. He had no idea about it because someone had shot him from his back. Moreover, he was mad at his fate that he was still alive even after getting shot. Before he could have thought anything else, Alaric explained the reason why Liara did that and why did he help her?

“Yes!! Because we had read that silver wolves or silver Lycan don’t die because of silver in one of her books. I know that everything in the books couldn’t be right, and we weren’t planning to do practical either until the mess you created in anger. You stabbed her father in his heart with a silver spear.” Alaric exclaimed. “I really hope he could have made it because the chances are really thin.”

“She kind of knew that her family members wouldn’t leave you alive after the stunt that you had pulled. So, she did what she thought was right for you. You might be stronger than any of her family members, but there was no chance that you could handle all the family members at once, especially her cursed hunter brother.” Alaric kept speaking for a while and told him about Colton. Theodore recognized that the hunter who was after him to kill was no other than COLTON.
