Chapter 69: Chapter 69
“What?” Kane glared at Theodore when he held his hand from touching Liara.
“I was wondering if I can have her too as my prize?” Theodore's question shocked Liara. Now she really wondered whether she really ended up making a mistake by trusting him again. He was talking about sharing her as if she was a thing. Tears rolled out her eyes at that thought.
“Ah! That.” Kane smiled. “That won’t happen because she is MINE.” He added. Liara sneered at his words but what happened next was something that she wasn’t expecting.
Theodore hit at Kane’s neck, injecting wolfsbane into his body that Liara had carried with her, and then kicked at his stomach so hard that he was thrown very far away from them.
“Restart the security system of your door,” Theodore said, more like an order to Liara. Kane sent those stupid guards to Liara’s floor so that she couldn’t lock her gate because if she were able to do that, then there was no way he would reach her.
Liara’s hand, Theodore ran toward Kane to kick his ass; Liara gasped when she saw Theodore kicking Kane’s ass and destroying her floor by throwing her here and there. Thankfully the area was soundproof, and in part, Theodore injected wolfsbane in Kane; he couldn’t mind linking anyone for help.
Liara quickly started working on restarting her lock so that even if anyone would find out what was happening with their Alpha, no one could come to save him.
The moment she finally locked the room, she heard Theodore’s cries in pain. She wondered what would have happened and walked; she saw Kane overpowering Theodore because Kane had injected Mercury with chlorine that could paralyze any creature for a while.
“Take a step toward me, and you will find your helper dead.” Kane threatened Liara, wiping his blood for a while and holding a silver dagger in his hand.
“I knew that you would plan something against me. So, I was already prepared. This Janitor is also appointed your brother, isn’t it?” he laughed, on which Liara’s jaw clenched. “But never mind, if I don’t have my wolf now, then you too won’t have yours.” saying this, he threw an injection of wolfsbane toward Liara.
“Inject yourself.” He ordered, pointing his dagger toward Theodore.
“Fuck you!!!” Liara hissed and jumped on him, shifting in the middle. She didn’t care about him killing Theodore because she knew that Theodore had silver Lycan, a Lycan or werewolf who couldn’t be killed by silver dagger or silver bullets.
All he needed was some time to recover from his paralyzing mode, and she would give him that by fighting against Kane in human form, even though he was trained even in his human form.
“You bitch…” Kane hissed, grabbing Destiny’s neck. “You really think that you can stand a chance against me.” He chuckled, flipped the position, and started punching her. Destiny whimpered and threw her paw at this to attack him but failed.
“Even in wolf form, you don’t stand a chance against me.” He joked and kept hitting her again and again. She howled in pain and silently watched Theodore start moving his finger.
‘Just a couple of minutes more, Destiny.’, Liara said, motivating Destiny. Kane was so much enjoying watching Destiny crying in pain that he didn’t realize what was happening in his back.
“Wow!! You heal faster than a normal werewolf. Did you observe that yourself?” Kane asked, hitting her continuously. “I learned from my dad that you will be the next healer of our world after completing your studies.” He confessed, shocking Liara. She knew that she wanted to become a healer, but she didn’t know that it was already destined that she would become one. “Your body has already learned how to heal yourself. That day is not far when you will able to heal others as well.”
“Let me see!! Whether you can heal yourself from silver too?” Kane asked like a maniac. What was she to him? An experiment?
He looked around for his silver dagger that dropped from his hand because Destiny attacked him out of the blue and saw it in Theodore’s hand, who was standing on his feet now.
“You bitch…” Kane tried to attack Destiny when he realized that she was taking all those punches willing so that she would keep his mind diverted from Theodore, but Theodore held him by his neck and threw it away by his hand and then Theodore looked at his mate, who turned into her human form, naked.
‘Fifty-seven punches!! She took fifty-seven punches at herself.’ he extended his hand toward her for help. He wasn’t sure whether he was doing right or not because he was doing this for the first time. This is helping someone. Liara gladly took his hand and was pulled into his arms all of a sudden. She might sound stupid and weak, but after finding herself in his arm, she started crying.
Kane came running to attack them, but Theodore grabbed his neck with his one hand and hit his head with his own as hard as he could, making Kane fall on the floor while giving comfort to Liara, holding her with his other hand.
