Chapter 65: Chapter 65
“But at the same time, I know you don’t inform anything to your family members. So, keep your mouth shut, just like always, okay?” Kane asked, on which a lone tear escaped from her eyes, and she watched Beta Leo dragging Alaric out of the pack.
"Aww.... stop crying," Kane said and tried to wipe Liara's tears, but she moved away. He gritted his teeth and pulled her close in anger. "Where the hell are you trying to run away, huh?" He asked and wiped her tears.
Liara didn't want him to touch her, but she bit her inner cheeks to keep her mouth shut. “I can’t wait to have you mine, Liara.” He said, leaning toward her lips on which she turned her head in another direction. “Go now; your brother will be waiting for you, but… come to my room tonight; I will show you that I’m much better than that leech.”
“I…I… can’t…”
“Don’t try to act innocent because I now know you are not. I won’t repeat it again. I want you in my room, on my bed, tonight.” Kane said before adding, “If you don’t want me to make you a laughing stock by informing the whole pack that you slept with a vampire, then you better be here. I don’t think you care about yourself that much, so think about your lover’s life.”
“My brothers will.. Kill… kill you if… if they come to… to know ab..about it.” She threatened while crying.
“You won’t tell them, and I will make sure that they will never find out about it because I know they can buy anyone by throwing money on them. Tonight, it will be just you and me.” Kane said confidently. “Now leave my office. I have to prepare for tonight.” He added and winked at her.
Liara quickly left his cabin and dashed toward her brother. She wanted to share everything with him, but at the same time, she was worried that it would put Alaric’s life at stake.

“Boss, that vampire disappeared,” Tyler informed Colton. Colton asked him to kidnap him so that he could ask that vampire why did Liara save him? And what was their connection? Was he the one with whom Liara met in the forest?
“That’s why I work alone.” Colton hissed in anger. “I want that vampire ALIVE at any cost.” He added that he knew that he wasn’t the only one in the pack. He recalled Liara’s words when she said that ‘he was in the pack because of her.’ It didn’t mean that she had invited him. Maybe she invited someone else. Or many more maybe. He knew Liara wouldn’t tell me a thing.
Disconnecting the call, he closed his eyes and tried to see what his ring was seeing and found Alaric in a cell.
‘How famous this leech is that he walked out of one danger and entered into another one!!’ He sneered and watched the area about it. There were approx ten to eleven naked people. He could tell that those were werewolves without going anywhere near them.
Since Liara was taking a lot of time and he had to get a hand on Alaric, Colton left from there because he wasn’t sure that those werewolves were planning against that vampire. What if they would kill him? He couldn’t let him die because his gut feeling was telling him that Alaric could lead him to the vampire whom he fought in the morning.

“Where is my brother?” Liara asked the guards.
“He left in a hurry.” One of the guards replied, to which Liara’s face turned small. But no worries, she had other people in the family, too, to whom she could tell about this incident. She thought to talk with them in her room and was surprised to see five female warriors on her floor.
“Alpha Kane appointed us for your safety since the security system of your door is off.” One of them answered her unanswered question. She didn’t reply anything to them and reached into her room to call Caroline, but her phone got snatched from her hand out of nowhere.
“We also asked you to keep an eye on you and not let you talk to anyone till night.”
‘Damn, he has trapped us. We can’t take help from outside.’ Destiny growled in anger. ‘Now, only one person can help us.’
‘Don’t keep your hope high, Destiny. Remember, he was the one who put in trouble last time and even today. He didn’t come up to help his only friend, whom he had known for years, and why the hell would he do anything for us? He won’t risk his BIG plan for us.’ Liara said, showing a clear picture to Destiny, on which she whimpered in pain. Little did she know that she wasn't the only one who was in pain.
Theodore had heard their conversation because of his listening power work even when the room was fully soundproof. No matter how much he was trying to act like it didn't matter to him, but he just couldn't rest in peace.
If he did anything, then all his plans would go into the trash, and if he wouldn't, then... he would lose the only person who had been nothing but nice to him from the beginning.
