Chapter 51: Chapter 51
“What’s it?” Theodore asked, looking at a red color drink that Liara had brought with her.
"Welcome drink." She said and placed it on her study table. After that, she left the room again to get Sushi that she had personally asked the cook to prepare for her and who used to get extra payment from her for cooking whatever she wanted to eat except the food in the dinner.
Liara didn't know C of cooking. All her life, she learned only to focus on studying and nothing else. He frowned but didn't say anything. He was well aware of her habit of eating in the middle of the night after coming from the hospital.
And yes, she didn't like eating alone. So, he had to accompany her to make her believe that he was interested in her. But he wouldn't be lying if he said that he didn't have an inbuilt habit of eating with her.
Watching a red drink, he wanted nothing but to taste her fucking blood. He licked his lips and tried to control his trust. He went near those glasses to drink it and smelled its fragrance.
'It smelt tempting.' He thought and picked up the left glass to drink it, but then he kept it back with the thought to wait for Liara before drinking it. But instead of keeping it on the left side from where he had picked it up, he ended up keeping it on the right side in a hurry when he heard Liara coming toward the room.
He went back to his place and saw Liara with two plates of Sushi. She kept the plate on the table to get drinks. She felt there was a slight movement in the drinks, but she ignored it, thinking she was thinking too much.
'Right one is for me, and the left one is for him.' She recalled again before picking up the glass.
"This is for you." She said, passing a red drink to him and really hoping him to finish it as soon as possible. Liara had mixed a drug in his drink, because of which he would get intoxicated a little and would speak nothing but the truth.
Theodore grabbed that glass and kept it aside to eat Sushi first.
"Welcome drink drinks before starters." She reminded him, on which he groaned and picked the glass. She smiled and took a sip of the drink.
"Strange? You did tell me about it. Name or anything? Educate me." he pointed out because that was what Liara was; she had a habit of sharing her knowledge with everyone whenever she got the chance. There could be a lot of people who might get irritated with her this habit or may accuse her of showing off her knowledge or being boring.
"This is red mirata. A drink specially made for the supernatural creature. It contains 12.2% of Alcohol, which can obviously affect the werewolves of vampires. It..." She kept going on and going on while sipping her drink after every interval when she watched Theodore doing the same. She couldn't help but be happy that her plan was working.
As per Liara's calculation, the drug would start working by the time they would finish their Sushi. After that, they ate Sushi with chopsticks. Liara observed how finely Theodore was eating with chopsticks and chuckled.
"What?" He asked her.
"Remember when you tried to eat the dumplings with chopsticks? You couldn't be even able to eat even one piece, and it used to fall on the ground all the time." Theodore nodded his head. "Times flies, isn't it?"
"A lot of things has been changed, Theo, from that night till tonight, but your feelings haven't changed even a little from that night till tonight." Theodore was shocked to hear this from Liara all of a sudden. "Why, Theo?" She asked in a low tone.
"Can we just not talk about it?" He asked.
"Fine. I won't ask you to talk. Stay quiet. Stay silent. But I won't. I won't." Liara said, shaking her head. "I'm not a romantic person. From the beginning, whenever I used to watch the intense scene, I used to feel like vomiting, thinking about how someone can enter their tongue into someone else's mouth. But from the moment I met you, I have started feeling all those wild desires that I didn't know I could feel ever in my life."
Theodore's eyes widened when he heard that. 'I didn't get drunk after a glass of drink, but she definitely did.' He thought and wondered, 'What Now?'
