Chapter 50: Chapter 50

“Attack!!” Hearing this, Liar threw a punch at Theodore’s face, and he easily dodged it. She kept throwing her punches at him, but not even once could she even touch him, because of which she was getting irritated. “Don’t show your irritation at your face. It will get you in trouble; keep a poker face.” He instructed. Liara had mentioned before that they both would teach each other the things that they didn’t know. Liara helped him with his studies first, and now it was Theodore’s turn to teach her how to fight.

He was doing this for multiple reasons. One, he couldn't assure her that he would always be there with her in case she needed HELP, so she should be able to help herself on her own, and second, he wanted to win her trust again that he felt she stopped doing from the incident that had happened a few nights before.

He had to win her trust again to break it again, and this was one of the ways he believed on which he could make up for everything that he had done with her.

When Liara got tired, Theodore punched at her stomach, and when she leaned to cry in pain, holding her stomach, Theodore held her back and kicked her stomach again with his knee. She cried again.

"I taught you how to block an attack on your stomach yesterday." He grumbled and pushed her away, making her fall on the floor. She whimpered in pain, "I don't think this fighting is your cup of tea. You should read books." He said coldly.

Destiny growled and attacked him, only to get her ass kicked by him. Theodore picked her up and threw her on the bed.

"Sleep now!! Your broken ribs need time to heal." Theodore said before getting ready to leave from there.

"Please stay!!" She requested and signaled him to sit on the bed and watched him sitting reluctantly. "You had written in the letter that you would make it up for the argument between us." She paused before continuing, "But fate had another plan that night, and you didn't get a chance to do that. So, why don't you make it up tonight for that argument?"

"Tonight?"

"Yes, tonight" Liara was laughing mentally at his expression. He looked like a student to whom someone asked a question that was out of the syllabus. "How about kissing each other and make-up?" She asked boldly. Hell, she couldn't believe it in her own words, but it was the effect of her wolf.

Liara smiled when she heard how his head started pounding loudly. She sat on the bed because, by then, Destiny had almost healed her.

She leaned forward toward Theodore's lips which were covered by his mustache, which he barely trimmed. She didn't know how to kiss, but she had watched how to do it in a couple of movies. Her lips were about to touch his when Theodore turned his head, and her lips landed on his cheek, covered with a beard.

Theodore immediately left the bed and glared at Liara. "I don't like those girls who behave like a slut." He hissed in anger, and with this, he left from there but before he would have got a chance to open the main door and leave from there. He was grabbed from his back and then slammed against the wall. Theodore was so taken aback by the kiss that he didn't see this coming.

"What do you mean to say? That my human was behaving like a slut?" Destiny growled in anger. The moment tears welled up in Liara's eyes, Destiny snapped.

"I don't want to talk with you, mutt."

"Why? Because you can't stand a werewolf, huh?" Destiny said, pressing his against the wall more tightly. "How dare you hurt my human? Our mate should be supposed to cherish us, but I don't understand why Moon Goddess blessed us with a dickhead instead," she growled in anger.

"Don't test my patience."

"Or what?" Destiny demanded. "I will test your patience. What will you do? Tell me." She asked again. Liara begged her to calm down but being a short-tempered wolf. It was hard for her. "Are you really that blind who can see that she desired to kiss you just because you're our mate? Have you ever seen her anywhere jumping around another guy? From the night we met you, she has been handling the unmeasurable pain every month. Why? Because she wanted you to be her first and last."

"I didn't ask..."

"Complete that sentence, and you will find us sleeping with someone else." Destiny threatened, knowing very well what that douchebag was going to say. She wasn't expecting him to start loving them immediately because the person who hated his own existence couldn't love someone else, but at least he should watch what he was speaking.

Theodore couldn't dare to complete that sentence. If he would say that seeing her sleeping with someone else wouldn't go him crazy, then that would be nothing but a big fat lie.

"I'm never coming here again." He muttered, pushing her away, and was ready to leave from there before he ended up doing something really stupid because their closeness was fucking disturbing him.

"Oh. You will have to. Or I will disclose your truth of being a hybrid to Alpha Kane." Destiny threatened.

"You're blackmailing me."

"Yes, I'm. Because there is no reason for you to stay in the pack if the reason is not US." Destiny growled in a low tone. Theodore's jaw clenched, and he left in anger while Destiny gave control to Liara. They reached into their room and installed a setup to see whether it was working or not.

She put on her headphone and heard a loud thud sound as if someone had slammed the door.

"What happened?" She heard Alaric's voice.

"LIA."

"Lia?"

"Liara Haysbert." Theodore hissed in anger and threw something in his room. "She is getting on my nerves. I will kill her someday." He growled in anger while Liara was hearing all this calmly. When Destiny was doing all that drama, she had silently inserted the tiny little chip in his jacket's upper pocket. She wasn't sure that she would be able to do that without his notice, but it looked like Theodore was really off-guarded for a while.

"Are you sure?" Alaric asked, more like teasing. "I bet you will kill everyone for her."

"Now, where are you going?"

"Work."

This was the last word she heard before she couldn't hear anything.

'Work at 4:35 AM in the morning?' She talked to herself. She had to find out what he was planning. And for that, she would have to check his room, but how?

'Mom told me that I wasn't caught in any CCTV cameras that night. Does that mean that I was also invisible that night? But how is that possible that Alaric doesn't get caught between the room and the library? It means only one thing; they know where the CCTV camera is and where is the blind spot.'

'How about we make Theo spill the beans?' Destiny suggested, on which Liara smiled because a brilliant idea came across her mind.
