"Are you not angry with me?" Theodore asked, changing the topic.

"Have you given me that right to me?" Liara questioned him back. She waited for a while to know his answer, but nothing came in response. "Why do you think that I will be angry with you? As I have already mentioned that whatever happened to me is because of me." She asked again, changing the question.

“I heard that. But whatever those vampires did with you, aren’t you angry with all the vampires, angry with me? Well, ANGRY isn’t the right word. You should be hating them, hating me.” Theodore said to know whether she or any of her family members were planning against his community. Because Alaric told him about her brother being some boss of the hunters.

He couldn’t help but wonder if the attack on him months back was from her brother.

Liara chuckled and shook her head. “No!! Absolutely not!! I have a lot of things to do rather than wasting my energy on negative things. Moreover, why will I hate the whole vampire who had nothing to do with what happened to me?” She asked.

“So, does that mean you won’t tell your about the incident of last night to your family members?”

“I will. But not now. Maybe in the future, because my family members are short-tempered. We all are blessed with the red wolf." Liara replied, wondering where his questions were going until Theodore asked.

"Everyone is blessed with the red wolf?"

'So, he is trying to get information from me.' She thought and mentally slapped herself for thinking that he was interested in knowing her. "No, not everyone. Exceptions are always there. You tell me, what's the color of your wolf? And when was the last time you had shifted?" She questioned, shutting his mouth.

"You don't want to share anything about yourself but want to know everything about me. That's unfair, isn't it?" Liara pointed out. 'Even I need to know about you as much as possible.'

"Your secrets will be safe with me. I promise you that. Just in the same way, your conversation with my mom is safe with her. Hell, she told me that it's her thing." Liara added on which. Theodore gave her a 'REALLY' look on which she nodded her head.

"He is of silver color." Theodore finally replied after a couple of minutes. "And I had shifted last night to save...." He quickly shook his head before continuing, "Well, saying that sentence will be so wrong because my wolf had shifted on his own to save you," he added.

"So, you were the one who saved me. Thank you."

"Don't thank me again and again because I'm also the one because of which you were in that situation. I mean, I reached there a little late." Theodore mumbled. Liara pressed her lips tightly, not to say anything about the things that she knew.

"No, not everyone in my family has a red wolf. My mom is a human, the daughter of one of the hunter's leaders. So, out of all the pups, one is a hunter." Liara replied with the answer that Theodore was looking for.

"But...but mutts... Werewolves and hunters are enemies. Why did your dad marry your mom? Was she his mate?"

"No. Mom wasn't his mate. It was an arranged marriage. They have a bittersweet love story, and in the end, they end up falling in love with each other really, really, very hard. And so, what if they were enemies? Love doesn't see these things. It just happens. Is someone has written somewhere that enemies can't fall in love? If yes, then there are multiple examples where the people from two world fall in love with each other, whether it's the story of my parents or the love story of Vampire queen Zendeya and her mate Benjamin Cornell."

Hearing that part, Theodore recalled that he knew about this incident. The queen was asked to leave her crown and her world to her own sister if she wanted to be her mate. Even though she wasn't a queen later but she ruled everyone's hearts like a queen.

"Not just that, I have heard the story of the devil falling in love with an angel. Not just that, my adoptive sister is a witch, and she is mated to a werewolf." Liara said and narrated the story of her parent's love story.

"So, you see, hatred and revenge will get you nothing. Peace is in letting things go. Because an eye for an eye will make the whole world blind one day." Liara paused before adding, "I'm positive if your mother would have been alive, then she wouldn't have taught you to take revenge and spend your life in hatred, Theo."

Liara waited for him to speak anything, but he didn't. Maybe he was trying to process things.

'She talks like her mother, and there is no doubt that people will see her mother in her.' Theodore thought, and his mind kept playing the words, 'if your mother would have been alive, then she wouldn't have taught you to take revenge and spend your life in hatred, Theo.'

"Theo... Theo...Help... help me!!" Theodore turned his head and looked at Liara, who again slept, placing her head against the wall and holding her teddy tightly. He wanted to wake her again, but then she needed her sleep too. So, he sat beside her and rested his head on the wall; he couldn't help but wrap her arms around her shoulder.

He didn't know much about romance, but yes, he had heard that the presence of a mate makes things easier in any situation.

"Ssshhh....calm down!!" he whispered. "I'm here, Lia. I won't let anything happen with you, trus..." Word died in his mouth on that particular word. Wasn't she in this situation because of his situation?

'I have to end this as soon as possible, OR I have a gut feeling that I will end up having a soft corner for my enemies too.' He thought.

"What do you mean by you don't know?" Elder Ozul roared in anger, on which Alaric kept his phone away from his sensitive ear. "Four of my strongest vampires are killed, and you're saying that you don't know anything about it."

"I'm sorry Elder, but that's the truth." Alaric lied again.

"And you told me that Alpha female is weak. Huh? I won't leave her. She killed four of my strongest vampires just like that. The next time, I will send more than twenty vampires or more than fifty vampires who will drag her mercilessly to me. So, manage her to take out of the pack again." Elder Ozul ordered.

"Okay, Master." Alaric agreed, and the call got disconnected. 'Oh, no! I didn't see this coming.' He thought and wondered how Elder Ozul would react when he would come to know that it was Theodore who killed two of his strong vampires to save his mate.
