The next morning!!

Liara woke up feeling enormous pain in her body, and she felt like her body was on fire. Somehow she managed to take the medicines to control her pain. She spent half of her day in the bathtub filled with ice-cold water, giving herself time to think, what next?

She really wanted to talk about it with her mother, and after debating for hours in her mind, she finally dialed her mother's number.

"Lee!! How're you, sweetheart?"

"I'm good, mom. How're you?"

"Great as always. Are you locked somewhere?" Sophia Haysbert asked because she could hear Liara's voice twice as if she was trapped or locked somewhere. "Did someone..."

"Mom, Relax!! Yes, I'm in the washroom, but I'm the one who has locked the door from the inside. So, relax; no one locked me anywhere." Liara said, cutting in between. "I was free, so I was thinking about your love story with dad, and I had to ask a couple of questions related to it."

"Ah. Okay. Go ahead."

"Dad used to hate you in the beginning; then, how did he fall in love with you?"

Sophia chuckled before replying, "Your dad never hated me, Lee!! He hated my family members who killed his real family. And he kept that in his mind to try to hate me but failed miserably."

"But he wanted to kill you, didn't he?"

"Yes!! He wanted to, but he couldn't. He wanted to kill me because of the hate that he had against my dad, but he couldn't kill me because of the love he had for me."

"You're not helping me at all, Mom." Liara groaned. "Actually, this is the problem of one of my juniors, Reva Smith. Her mate is a vampire and hates all the werewolves in the whole world, including her. It's because that vampire lost his family because of werewolves. And she is extremely sad about this fact. Then what should she do?"

"I don't get the reason behind hating the whole werewolf community because of some werewolves," Sophia said and frowned while Liara nodded her head because she agreed with her mother's words. "Okay. There are two things that she can do. The first is to prove to him that not all werewolves are bad. Just like not all vampires are bad, not all hunters are bad, and not all witches are wicked. This all might take a lot of one-sided effort, and it's up to her whether she wants to do it for her mated mate or not. And second is to provide him with justice in case he wouldn't receive."

"Ooo"

"Always remember, sweetheart, that rejection is easy, but most people have to struggle in one way or another to have ultimate happiness and to achieve something big," Sophia said on which Liara had already decided that she wouldn't reject Theodore even though he hated her for what she was. She would try to do what her mother told her. She would show him that his hate for the entire werewolf wasn't justified. She had read somewhere, 'Don't live your life with anger and hate in your heart. You will only be hurting yourself more than the people you hate.'

After talking with her mother for a while on a normal topic, Liara disconnected the call and thought, how to talk with Theodore now? He didn't even have a phone.

'I can gift him one with the money that I earn through the internship, right?' She thought and smiled at that thought because that would be the first gift from her to him. 'Moon Goddess, I don't know why you have paired Theo with me, but I'm sure you have got a good reason for doing so. Don't worry; I won't give up on my mate. Not this easily.'

'What do you think about the second suggestion that Mom gave us? How can we know who misbehaved with Theo's mother? And who is his real father? We're not even sure whether they're alive or not.' Destiny asked.

'I know this one is tough but not impossible. We have to first find out the color and height of Theo's wolf. Once we get to know that, we have to just match his details with the details of wolves all over the world. But the problem is that Theo has full control of his wolf; that's why his wolf rarely shows up on the surface.' Liara said, recalling her past month with Theodore. 'I won't be surprised if I will come to know that he has never shifted until now.' She muttered.

Destiny started, thinking about various ways to bring Theodore's wolf out. It was obvious that Theodore was also an experience and old vampire, so controlling his wolf would be easier for him compared to any human controlling his wolf.
