Chapter 317: Chapter 317
Liara groaned when her head hurt. She tried to open her eyes and failed miserably, but somehow, after a couple of attempts, she finally could see the place where she was. It was all dark, and she could barely see a thing. The way her head was feeling heavy and she was having a hard time opening her eyes, she felt like she was drugged.
The room in which she was cold She had no idea where she exactly was, but judging by the way things were, everything was dark and cold. It was one of the covens of vampires because she couldn’t even see a single window in the room.
The first thought was about her pup. She hoped that Griffin would be okay. She didn’t mind if Colton would have taken him with him in his normal state of mind. But the way he called Griffin a powerhouse was scary. The second thought was about Theodore. She had no idea how he would handle himself without her beside him. What would have happened in the war? Did they win?
She had tried to heal all the injured as much as possible. She hoped that they wouldn’t have lost a lot of people.
She tried to find Destiny in her mind, but she wasn’t anywhere. She tried to reach Luna but failed. She took a deep breath and felt magic around her.
All of a sudden, the door of the room opened, and someone walked inside.
"I see, you’re awake." She heard the same voice because of which she was here at this moment. "Now I can start the process," he muttered and whispered something that forced her hand to raise her hand above her head, and her legs were parted on their own.
"What... what are you trying to do?"
"Claiming you. Isn’t that clear?" Lestat answered nonchalantly. Liara’s eyes widened, and she could hear the sound of him opening his clothes. She started wiggling to escape from the grip that had tied her hands and legs.
"I dare you to come close to me," Liara yelled. "I will kill you, Lestat." She added it in pure anger.
"I’m going to be your mate, Moon Goddess. You can’t kill your mate, can you?" He asked innocently, reaching towards her. "Now, I hate loud women under me. If you can’t act submissive, then I don’t have any other choice than to shut your mouth."
Liara was about to say something when she felt like she couldn’t speak. She tried to use her power, but it wasn’t working.
‘Fuck! What was the use of becoming the Moon Goddess when I couldn’t protect myself?' She screamed mentally. That was when she recalled Luna’s words.
[Your human body is not ready to handle all the powers of Selene. Your body needs more strength first.]
The gown she was wearing appeared in the next second. The gown that gave birth to Griffin was torn apart. She started shaking her head, telling him to stop, but all her pleas were futile. Tears rolled out of her eyes when she felt a sharp pain at the place where Theodore’s mark was when his fanger tore her skin. Marking someone against his or her will was one of the most painful things that werewolves could do.
She couldn’t scream, but the tears from her eyes weren’t stopping at all. Unlike Theodore’s mark, Lestat’s mark was painful, and she couldn’t find any pleasure in it.
She kept struggling, and soon she stopped when she realized that he was enjoying watching her in this state. Her pain, her struggle, and her tears—everything was giving him pleasure like a sadist.
She closed her eyes and stopped crying, promising herself not to give him any pleasure at all. She tried to use her brain while fighting with him.
[Whenever any creature marks someone, they also share their powers and strength with the other person.]
Liara recalled. That was why, in most cases, werewolves mark their mates to share their power with them and save them. She had seen a lot of cases like this in the hospital. But that thing only works when either they were fated mates or they chose each other as chosen mates.
Liara knew what she was going to do would hurt Theodore beyond anything, but she doubted that Lestat could be defeated that easily after all; he had gained a lot of power through black magic.
