"What have you done to my brother?" Liara shouted at Lestat because her heart missed a beat when she heard those words from Colton’s mouth. This wasn’t Colton. He could never say anything like that about his sister or his nephew.

The coldness and the darkness around him were scaring the shit out of her. No, she wasn’t scared from him, but she was scared for him.

"Trust me, I’m not controlling him. Not that anyone’s power works on him." Lestat said innocently, raising his hands in the air. "I just shared a little of my darkness with him so that he would lose his piece of mind," he added, adding fuel to Liara’s anger.

She was going to kill that bastard, but she had barely taken two steps toward him when she felt like she would fall at any moment because of drowsiness.

She had an idea that this had something to do with the injection.

"What happened, Moon Goddess? Can’t walk now?" Lestat teased her. "Okay, if you can get near me, then I promise to let you go." He added with a sinister smile on his lips. Liara looked at her brother for help, but he had already left with her pup.

Her heart thudded when she realized the possibility of Colton killing her pup for power. She took a step toward Lestat to kill him because this was all happening because of him, while Lestat moved back.

"Come!! Come near me."

"I will kill you." Liara hissed. Soon her vision started getting blurred, but she still tried to catch him but was failing miserably. She could sense that he was enjoying her misery, but little did he know that was her plan. She was weak beyond anything, so she was mustering all the powers that her human body could muster to use them at once. The fact that she had used her power before to heal everyone had weakened her.

She had two options at that moment: either to use that power on Lestat or on Colton.

"Imperio," she whispered, releasing a small light in the direction where Colton was.

"What the…." Lestat slapped her, throwing her on the ground, not expecting Liara to be smart, while she smiled meekly, looking at his blurred silhouette. She used a spell to make anyone obey her once. She wasn't sure that her power would work on him, not when the darkness around Lestat was too much compared to Colton.

‘Brother, this is not you. Don’t let anyone control you. Please don’t harm Griffin, he is like your son.' She sent the message before falling unconscious.

'Mommmm,' Rebecca Weasley's mind linked in horror when her mother, Crystal, jumped in front of her to protect her when a vampire aimed to shoot her, ending up shooting Crystal. Crystal grabbed that vampire’s head and ripped it apart.

"Mom, why in the hell did you step in between? I could have handled silver bullets.’" She cried, shifting into her human form.

"The bullets were coated with poison." Crystal coughed, and blood oozed out of her mouth. "Coated with the supernatural hunter’s blood, which has no cure." With that, her nose started bleeding.

Rebecca’s stopped breathing when she heard that. She was well aware of the damage that Colton’s blood had done to Arline. She was alive because the amount of blood used was too little, but she doubted that the bullet had just a little bit of supernatural hunter’s blood on it.

"I observed that whoever got shot by a bullet couldn’t make it." She said, wiping Rebecca's tear, "I’m going to meet your dad now." Crystal smiled and coughed, "Take..." Her hand which was touching Rebecca’s cheek fell down all of a sudden. With that, she couldn’t complete her sentence.

"Mommmmmmmm," Rebecca screamed in pain, pulling Crystal’s body close to her heart. Steve, Vlad, Scarlett, and Charlotte heard the painful voice of Rebecca and realized that their grandmother was no more.

At the same time, Theodore felt it. He felt the pain of a tight slap across his face that didn’t belong to him. He roared loudly and left there and ran towards Liara, following her scent. Everyone made sure that no one could reach anywhere. Liara or the pup, then how?

He ran faster than he had ever been able to, but after reaching a part of the forest, he could smell her.

‘Lia’ He mind-linked her, but all he faced was a blockage. He ran in all directions like a maniac but couldn’t understand where he should go.

At the same time, his so-called brother reached there and used a spell to break the shield, which he could sense but Theodore couldn’t.

That was when he sensed Griffin’s and Liara’s scent, but both were going in two different directions.

"I will go in the direction of your mate. Letstat is there." His brother spoke, at which point Inigo growled at him. "Fine. I will go and get your pup," he added, understanding that 99% of the werewolves choose mate over their own pup. After all, they could have multiple pups if they had their mate with them.
