After staying for a couple of days in Blood Moon Pack, they returned to Black Council with Sophia, and Brandon accompanied them because Sophia wanted to be there during Liara’s pregnancy, while Brandon felt that Theodore was hiding something about Liara’s pregnancy from everyone. Even Roselet tagged along with them to explore Black Council.

As the time was ticking by and the days were passing by, the chances of Lestat’s attack started increasing because, with each passing day, the number of kicks from their pup had increased. Well, not just that the rate at which Liara’s stomach was growing made her look like she was almost three months old when she was just one and a half months pregnant.

‘Lee!! Your niece got into a fight.' Moana mind-linked Liara, who was having her breakfast.

‘With?’

‘Ezra.’

"What’s it?" Sophia asked when she saw Liara leave the breakfast in the middle.

"Rose is throwing punches at a boy," Liara said in an amusing tone.

"God! I’m so worried for this girl." Sophia exclaimed.

"Well, I’m worried for Ezra." Liara chuckled and walked towards the training ground, where Roselet had gone with Brandon in the morning. The moment they reached there, they found Brandon cheering for Roselet, who had twisted Ezra’s arms and was sitting on his back.

"Will you again say mean things about my aunt?" She asked in anger, painfully twisting his arms.

"Aaahhh…"

"Answer it or I will make sure that you won’t be able to eat with your hands for days." She yelled.

"I won’t… I won’t."

Roselet let him go and stood on her feet. "Everyone, if you will speak mean words for my aunt, then I will come from my pack just to kick your ass." She threatened all the pups of her age. A couple of them were older than her, but Roselet was schoolgoing and well-trained for a pup of her age compared to them, who had barely started going to school.

Liara went near Ezra, who was lying on the ground and in great pain. She healed him first and then looked at Roselet, who was bleeding from her knees, hand, and elbow.

She healed her as well. "You shouldn’t have fought, sweetheart."

"He was teasing me with his friends that I’m an outsider just like you. And one day their parents will throw you out there. So, I showed him his place. That this outsider can throw him and his stupid friends out if she wants." Roselet said, fuming in anger. "These types of boys become male chauvinists in the future. And I don’t mind showing them their place if required."

"Rose…"

"No, aunt! If you are ignoring his behavior because of his age, then here I am. I’m of his age and size. I will deal with him." Roselet said, cutting Liara in between, and looked at Sophia, "Grandma, I’m hungry now." With that, she ran away from there. Sophia followed her.

Liara looked at Ezra and wanted to apologize for Roselet’s behavior, but she stopped herself. Back then, she too used to apologize to the people who had done wrong, but that made them think that she was weak.

Ezra shouldn’t have been mean to Roselet in the first place.

"Behave, Ezra; I have told you this multiple times."

"Don’t teach me. You didn’t make her apologize to me." Ezra pointed out.

"I will. I promise I will, but after she kicks you again. And next time, I won’t even heal you. And if you will go and complain to your father, then remember, I will kick Ethan’s buttocks." Liara growled at him in anger, scaring him. "Leave everyone; it’s time for school." She ordered, and all pups ran away from there.

"Dad, you should have stopped Rose," Liara said, looking at Brandon.

"Nope. I was watching the show. Moreover, they were just pups. It wasn’t that they would have killed each other." He added with a shrug. "I should go and give her a chocolate for her bravery." With that, he left from there.

Liara stayed there for a while and then searched for Ethan between the training of adults, and there he was.

‘Ethan, can I have a minute with you?' She mind-linked him. After a moment, he was standing in front, narrowing his eyes.

"What is it?"

"Can you please make sure to send Ezra to school? All the pups in the council have now started going to school except him. He is talented and smart, and if he gets a better opportunity, he can do wonders." Liara pointed it out. "You’re a great warrior and also love your mate a lot. So, I believe you’re also a good person, but I don’t understand why you're ignoring the responsibilities that you have towards Ezra.

"He doesn’t listen to me."
