"Talking about Liara?" Colton entered Calvin’s office.

"And also about divorce." Calvin joked. "Anyways, I too have to share something with you all." He added, looking at everyone.

"I met Lee last week." He broke the news and waited for Brandon to scold him, but he never did. "It was Lee who helped me with Rose’s mother’s details," he explained.

"How could you handle this important news in your stomach? And surprisingly, your stomach didn’t even ache." Brandon questioned him in a sarcastic tone, earning a punch from Sophia.

"Seriously? The first thing that came out of your mouth was something this stupid." Sophia glared at her husband and then looked at Calvin, "So, how are she and her pup doing? Since when she is pregnant? Is she in her early stage of pregnancy or her due date is near?"

Calvin knew he was a carbon copy of his mother in terms of behavior, so he just smiled at her nonstop questions and looked for Liara’s ultrasound report.

"Here!! See the first picture of your fourth grandchild." He said, passing the report toward Sophia, but Brandon was quick to grab it.

"Hunter!!"

"Even I want to see my grandchildren’s first picture," Brandon said, taking out the report from the envelope. "Hold on, why did you say grandchild and not grandchildren?" He questioned, looking at Calvin, but when he didn’t receive any answer from him, he looked at the report.

"That’s because she is pregnant with only one pup," Sophia said happily. Every time, they used to see an ultrasound report of her pregnancy. She couldn’t help herself from recalling those moments that she had cherished with Logan and Brandon when she was pregnant with her first child.

"He didn’t try harder," Brandon muttered with the thought of having only one grandchild at the interval of four years. He looked at Calvin and spoke, "You’re my blood; make me proud by making a lot of pups because I don’t know if Tee and Colt will ever settle down or not."

"By now, she will be three weeks pregnant," Calvin told them. Hearing this, Brandon looked at the picture again.

"Just three weeks?" "You mean to say that this picture is of that time when Lee was two weeks pregnant?"

"Yes, dad."

"In that case, her pup is bigger than a normal pup."

"Really? All I can see is a pea-sized ball." Calvin joked.

"Or maybe because our grandchild is super duper healthy," Sophia suggested. "Anyway, I need the location of this council. I want to visit my daughter as soon as possible." With that, Sophia left Calvin’s office. Brandon followed her, knowing that she was surely going to pack her things.

"You’re staying?" He asked Colton, who was looking outside the window.

"No."

"Okay!" Calvin went into the washroom, knowing that his brother needed to be alone for a while. And at that moment, he locked the door. Colton turned his head to look at the door of the washroom for a while before walking toward his table.

He picked up Liara’s report and saw the picture of his future niece or nephew.

‘This little creature will be powerful. Kill him or her.' He heard an evil voice in his head. He felt that his control was slipping from his hands.

'This creature is my family. Stop giving me these ideas.' Colton said, getting his control back.
