“Your ‘like daughter’ is going to be a mother,” Theodore said before taking tips from him about how to take care of a pregnant mate.

“I am going to be granddad?” Ambrose asked in excitement.

“Yes, dad,” Theodore said in a sarcastic tone, and both of them realized what had just happened. They both stared at each other in silence for a minute, not knowing what to do next. Theodore couldn’t help but wonder how Liara had changed everything in his life from she entered his life. And now his pup, that pup had barely arrived in his life, and he ended up calling ‘Dad’ to someone who was not related to him in any way. For now, he had believed that only Lia was his family, but he could see that things were changing.

The very first person with whom he shared about Liara’s pregnancy was the person in front of him, who was looking at him hopefully as if Ambrose was expecting him to call ‘DAD’ again.

“She doesn’t know about it yet. So, you, too, have to keep this news to yourself. Don’t tell your mate about it as well. Because that old lady won’t be able to control her happiness and might end up blurting the truth about me knowing the truth.” Theodore spoke and watched how his face fell when he called his mate an ‘OLD LADY.’

“So, what are you expecting from me?” Ambrose asked, not able to understand why Theodore was telling this news to him if neither Liara knew about it nor was he allowed to share with someone else.

“Tips. I need tips. This is our first pup… I mean..”

“Instead of using ‘this, it,’ call he, him, his, or she, her!! Your pup is not a thing.” Ambrose corrected him. Theodore nodded his head, caressing his neck, “I’m sure he is a boy. So, I will call him Griffin.” Theodore said.

“Boy? How can you be so sure?”

“I don’t know. I just have a feeling. My mother gave birth to a boy. Even Mom, Lia’s mother, gave birth to a son first. So, I feel we will have a son.” Theodore concluded. Ambrose wanted to say that this type of calculation never works, but then… time would tell this on its own.

“She is a doctor. So, I’m sure that she knows how she has to take care of herself. But even though she will know everything, make sure that she will have food rich in calcium, folate, fiber, fishes but not high in mercury. But at the same time, don’t force her to eat or overeat.” He added that he knew Theodore might start forcing him to eat a lot in the name of concern.

“Let her sleep a lot. And make sure that she drinks a plenty amount of water.” Ambrose explained everything to Theodore for more than an hour in detail, everything that he knew from his age. “The rest of the things can be found in the books or on the internet.”

“Hmm.”

“I should leave now. She is waiting for me.” Ambrose said, ready to leave from there.

“Lia’s brother’s middle name is the first name of their grandfathers from both ends,” Theodore spoke when Ambrose was opening the door of the library. Ambrose turned and wondered why Theodore was telling this him. “My pup will be called Griffin Ambrose Wayne.”

Ambrose was stunned by this revelation. Well, he wasn’t expecting this. He didn’t know how Theodore was before he came here, but comparing him from the first day of Theodore to this one. He had changed. He wasn’t the man who used to keep telling him that he wasn’t not his son anymore.

“Does that mean you’re indirectly calling me ‘Father,’ son?”

Theodore rolled his eyes before speaking, “Good night, Old man.” Ambrose grinned and finally left this time.

“Theo called me ‘Dad.’”

“No way!! He can’t do this to me.” Edolie complained. “I’m going near him to call me ‘Mom’ too.”

“Stay here!!” Ambrose stopped her when she started leaving for real. "You can't force him, can you?"

"Yes, I can."

"Oh, come on, Ed! It was an accident." With that, Ambrose told her everything except Liara's pregnancy.

"It was an accident in the beginning. In the end, he knew what he was speaking, and even his intentions were clear." Edolie muttered. "By the way, did you ask about Mo? She went with Liara but didn't return with them. I tried to mind link Mo but I couldn't."

"I will ask them together. And no need to worry about her. She can handle..." He was about to speak more when someone mind linked to him.
