"Brother!!" Liara quickly interfered in their conversation, and in the next second, she pushed Roselet into his arms. "I'm not able to understand what she is trying to speak."

'Brother? Is he really her brother? But they don't look like they're siblings.' Theodore thought while maintaining a poker face.

All of a sudden, Calvin's mood changed when Roselet came into his arms; he looked at his daughter, "What happened, sweetheart?"

"I'm angry." She said, in a low tone, looking at Mc Donalds.

"Oh, you're hungry." Calvin understood her baby language immediately. She nodded her head. "Okay!! Give daddy a minute," he said, hugging her and then looking at the vampire in front of him.

"So, where were we? Yes, tonight at eight near the airport." Calvin said. Theodore was tempted to say YES, but he didn't miss how Liara was silently begging him not to accept this dual.

Liara didn't care who would win this dual, but in both cases, she would be the one who would LOSE.

"I've changed my mind. I have other things to do." Theodore said before adding, "Now, please leave. I have to clean this area."

Calvin's jaw clenched, and he was about to speak something when Liara held his arms, "Let's go from here." She spoke softly.

"Let's go, daddy," Roselet spoke, repeating what she heard, and at the same time, her stomach growled, telling him that she was hungry. Calvin sighed and turned his heels to leave from there. Nothing was more important to his daughter, not even the leech who just pissed him off. Liara wanted to speak, but she couldn't because Calvin was scaring her with his anger. At that moment, he looked just like Colton. No wonder either the warden would have been mistaken, or he would have fooled them by calling himself, Colton Haysbert.

While Roselet was having her second breakfast, Calvin made some calls in anger.

"There is a cleaner in the mall. His name is Andy. I don't know his full name. The stupid name 'ANDY' was written on his uniform; yes, you have to make sure that he will end up losing his job." Calvin said, on which Liara gasped. "And make sure that he won't get any job in this city. I have to kick him out of here. Get this work done as soon as possible."

Once he disconnected the call, Liara could help but ask, "Why?"

"What, why?"

"What was the need of doing that?"

"Because he dares to look at you. You should thank me that I'm not harming him. Only if Colton had been my place, he would have that leech's eye out." Calvin growled in a low tone of anger.

"Dadddyyyy... ssssshhh!!" Roselet said, keeping her finger on her lips when she heard Calvin growling.

"Yes, love," Calvin muttered and then looked at Liara, "Thank Moon Goddess that you stay in a well-protected pack, or I would have to appoint hundred of guards near you to keep these filthy types of creatures away from you."

"But..."

"Don't deny that you didn't see him staring at you like you're some piece of jewel," Calvin said, cutting her in between.

'He was looking at me in that way.' She thought and controlled herself from smiling.

"You're naive, Lee!! But I know the look of the man. The way he was looking at you. It looked like he wanted to rip my arms off you and hold you in his arms." Calvin spoke, on which Liara's heart fluttered, but soon it sank as well, "Bastard!! I wonder what he was thinking. You're fucking princess of dad, and he is just... just a leech."

"Can we please drop that topic?" Liara asked, not liking the way Calvin was talking about her mate. Destiny wanted to argue with Calvin, but that argument might reveal that they were fated mates, and no one of them was ready for that, at least not now. "Warden told me that it was Colton who came to meet me."

"Oh... that's because she assumed that I'm Colton, and I didn't correct her. Colton uses my scent to visit you so that he gets an entry into the pack; otherwise, a supernatural hunter isn't welcomed in a pack full of supernatural creatures."

"But how did you know that it's me, not him?"

"I sensed your scent mix with Rose, and a minute later, Rose came running near me," Liara replied, shrugging her shoulder as if it wasn't a big deal for her and at the same time, she got worried that her other brother would be visiting her soon after knowing about the death of one of his hunter.

'Calvin made sure that he won't be able to work in this place. I wonder what Colton will do?' She thought.

"Boss!! Sam is dead. The last update he had given was about your sister talking to someone in the middle of the forest." Tyler, one of the hunters working for Colton, informed him.

"Hmm!! Increase the number of hunters in the forest and keep a close eye on my sister." Colton ordered.

"Can't you talk about it to your sister directly?" Tyler asked and immediately shut his mouth, "I mean, okay, Boss. I will send approx ten of our best hunters, and they will be there by tomorrow." he said and left from there.

'I know my sister. If she is trying to hide anything from me, then she will die, but she won't open her mouth, just like me. So, I have to catch her red-handed. But the question is, 'what are you hiding, Lee?'
