Chapter 209: Chapter 209
“I need your help, Old man,” Theodore said to Ambrose once they were alone.
“And why do you think I will help you?” Ambrose questioned him. It was the first time Theodore was asking for help, that too in front of him.
“My bad!! I shouldn’t have approached you in the first place.” Theodore grumbled instead of answering his question and ran away from there at his vampire speed. Now that everyone knew what he was, he didn’t have to hide his vampire power. But he sensed Ambrose following him.
After reaching some point, Theodore finally stopped and waited for Ambrose to reach near him. A red wolf soon reached near him and shifted into human form.
“What is it?” Ambrose asked, finally admitting that Theodore would never learn to open up his feelings in front of him.
“I need you to make sure that Lia’s safety at this place,” Theodore said.
“Why? I guess you have made sure about her safety without anyone’s knowledge by hiring hunters and what not?” Ambrose asked, wrapping his arms around his chest. “I’m surprised that you can trust them but not us, even when they are our enemy.”
“Not every hunter is our enemy,” Theodore spoke.
“And all the people staying here are your enemy. Huh? I don’t know what your age is and what are the things you would have faced throughout your life, but it is clear that you don’t know how to build and handle any relationships because of your insecurities.” Ambrose snapped at him. “Anyways, if you need my help. I need to know who are the people around this place.”
Theodore hesitated to speak the truth because he was sure that he might freak out after learning the truth.
“Come on!! I know you keep a lot of secrets, but I need to know about the people around the people whom I’m concerned about.” Ambrose said to show that he wasn’t keeping any type of condition to blackmail him in any way because doing that would make the matter worst. He believed that those hunters would have definitely done something because of which Theodore trusted them to this extent in comparison to his own kind.
"Don't ask me. You will freak out, Old man!" Theodore responded before adding, "Lia is not here in case your blood pressure increases from the shock."
Ambrose scoffed. "I'm strong enough to handle any news."
Theodore smirked, making Ambrose suspicious. He narrowed his eyes and prepared himself for the news that he was going to break.
"This east area is surrounded by two supernatural hunters. One male and one female." Theodore shared, not disclosing their identity. To be honest, he himself didn't know about the girl who worked with Colton.
Ambrose’s eyes widened upon hearing the ‘SUPERNATURAL’ words. Okay, he wasn’t expecting this. The relationship between Supernatural hunters and supernatural creatures was like a vampire and human; those hunters were tempted to kill powerful creatures in the same way a vampire was tempted to kill a human by sucking his
“And North and west are surrounded by the vampires,” Theodore informed. The south area wasn’t secured because he never felt it necessary as it was until now.
“What?” Ambrose growled. “How could I never sense them?”
“Well…” Theodore paused before replying, “My best friend, Alaric has the power to mask anyone’s scent.” He watched Ambrose fuming in anger. Theodore couldn’t blame him because both vampires and hunters were werewolves’ arc enemies, and he had kept both of them around the people whom he cared for.
“I told you that your blood pressure would increase, Old man!” Theodore mocked him.
“They can kill my people.”
“They won’t. They will never. If that happens, then you will find me standing between them and the werewolves.” Theodore assured him. He had done a lot of damage to the werewolves; he didn’t want to do anything like that ever again. After all, his mother was also a werewolf, and so did his mate.
“About your mate’s safety? Is it because she is a healer, or is there something that you’re hiding?” Ambrose questioned him.
“I think so.”
“Anything that you know about the person who is behind her?”
“Except for the part that he or she is a vampire. No, nothing.” Theodore replied. “That person is behind Lia and has sent more than two hundred new vampires since we came here. That was a different thing that they never reached anywhere near us until now.” Hearing this, Ambrose realized that to find the person behind all this, he had to use Lia as bait to lure that vampire.
They couldn’t fight with that enemy about whom they knew nothing, and to know who that vampire was, they had to take a risk. He couldn’t share this plan with Theodore because he would never risk Liara’s life for anything.
“Try to contact any witch who can see the future or any Oracle because finding the person behind everything is very important,” Ambrose suggested, to which Theodore nodded his head. Because until now, Alaric had lost around thirty of his vampire friends. The night, this secret enemy would attack in bulk, and no one could stop them from reaching near them.

Liara slapped Theodore’s arms the moment she returned from the hospital at night. “What the hell was that, Theo? You knew… you knew that I didn’t want you to hurt Moana. Still, you almost killed her.” She scolded him.
“Even if you knew that I wanted to kill that bitch then why did you interfere in my work?” Theodore hissed.
“Because that wasn’t right. You need to learn that killing someone is not always help the situation.”
“I’m not a fucking pup who needs to learn anything from you,” Theodore growled, getting irritated at how she was arguing over Moana’s topic. “Just because you are highly educated doesn’t mean you got a license to teach me right and wrong.”
“I’m not trying to teach you anything because I know your thick skull full of anger is good for nothing,” Liara shouted.
“Thick skull? Full of anger? Do you think I’m a psycho who gets angry for no reason? Moana tried to kill you. If not for me, then you would have been dead by now.”
“I know and thank you for saving me, but I didn’t ask you to take my revenge on her by killing her, Did I?” Liara questioned. “Just because you’re way too older than me doesn’t mean I’m a pup.”
“I never told you that you’re a pup. You are old enough to give birth to a pup.”
Liara’s eyes widened at his comment. Was he mocking her, or he meant that?
“Don’t try to change the topic,” Liara complained. This was pure cheating by shifting an argument to a romance.
“I was just stating the fact.”
Liara’s brow knitted, but she didn’t say anything to him. Arguing with him was like hitting her head on the stone, so she turned her heels, ready to leave from there, only for him to grab her arm, swinging her back toward him. “Where are you going?”
“Why should I answer you? Did you tell me before leaving me alone?” Liara questioned.
“I’m sorry for that.”
“Well, I reject your SORRY.”
“Didn’t you tell me once that if we will ever fight that we will resolve that by the end of the day? Are you going to drag that matter for days?” Theodore questioned, recalling the rule of their relationship.
Liara narrowed her eyes and stared at him for a while before speaking. “Well, bad boys don’t deserve forgiveness, but they are punished.”
Theodore’s eyes twinkled at the name of punishment. He couldn’t wait for her to be on the top. Hell, his dick became hard under the boxer on with that naughty thought already until he heard her next words.
“And your punishment is that you will sleep ALONE tonight. I’m going to sleep with the pups.”
“What? Why?”
“Because you left me ALONE when I was sleeping beside you. Now, deal with it.” With that, she jerked his hand away and walked away from him by turning around, leaving him in shock and in a miserable condition.
