Chapter 192: Chapter 192

“Why the hell do you even care? Don’t tell me that you will shed tears if I die.” Chris mocked her, on which she fumed in anger. “I will see what we can do to increase the security, but then the place where we are staying has no sunlight. In that way, vampires can target us easily. Even in the day.” He pointed out.

“Agree with Chris!!” Robin spoke.

“About that….” Theodore paused before speaking, “A place is under construction for all the people that stay here. A place where everyone would feel safe and secure. I’m in contact with a witch who is building that place in such a way that no one could find that place easily.”

“You are doing all this for her, aren’t you?” Moana asked again.

“Yes!! She was, she is, and she will always be my first priority. I hope I’m clear about that part.” Theodore spoke, not caring to look at her in the beginning, and then he looked at her, “Stop behaving like a whore, Moana, or I swear, I will sell you at the brothel house.” Moana’s eyes widened in shock. Theodore barely used to talk with him but never did she dream that he would speak anything like that to her.

“And I will make sure that you will get fucked throughout the day so that all your excitement between your legs will die,” Theodore growled before discussing his plan with the others. Moana felt humiliated, but there was nothing that she could do about it. At least not now, but she swore to do the same with his mate.

“I will rip into pieces if you even dare to do that,” Theodore warned, on which she looked at him, wondering whether he could listen to his thoughts.

“But she didn’t say anything.” Derik pointed out.

“It’s written all over her face,” Chris said. “Even if she doesn’t do anything, she will be the one to be blamed for everything,” he added and laughed, only to get a tight slap from Moana. Without saying a word, she left from there in anger while Chris just shrugged as if nothing had happened.

“Let’s discuss some work now. The biggest disturbance left from here.” He muttered.

Moana walked out of the bunker, fuming in anger, and watched Liara with a lot of pups; she was telling them a story of Beauty and the Beast, and the pups were listening to her carefully and excitedly. For the first time, these little demons were silently sitting instead of shouting, yelling, and fighting with each other.

‘Even if she won’t do anything, she will be the one to be blamed for everything.’ These words rang in her mind, and her jaw clenched. She had to do something by staying in good books, but for that, she would have to make a good image.

“Pups!! Enough of this stupid shit!! It’s your training time. In the ground, NOW.” She shouted.

“I don’t want to do sparring.” One of them said. “I want to listen to the rest of the story.” He added, to which Moana glared at Liara.

“Except him, you all….”

“Even I don’t want to attend the training.”

“Same, even I don’t want to.” One by one, everyone started saying NO.

“Fine!! Do whatever you want. I will update the same to Theodore.” She growled at them, leaving there.

“You will save me from his anger, right? You are his mate.” One of the pups asked, looking at Liara.

“Sorry!! I can’t do that, or he will punish me as well for spoiling you all.” Liara responded, showing that she was scared of Theodore.

“Then you’re of no use. Mom says only to keep relations with strong people, and you’re weak.” Ezra spoke. He was hardly at the age of five years old, but most of the pups used to follow him and listen to him. “Let’s go, everyone!!” He said, getting up on his feet.

Liara didn’t stop him, or anyone just watched their behavior. That was her plan to understand and observe the life of everyone. After that, she was going to ask Theodore or Ambrose Wayne to make rules to change things because if they were planning to convert this place into a pack, then it should act like one before that.

She sensed a change in the air and moved aside, only to see an arrow passing from the place where she was standing a second before. She turned to see who did this and found Ezra with a shocked expression as if he wasn’t expecting this.

‘So this pup has some potential except for showing attitude.’ Destiny chuckled.

“Aim at me,” Liara said to see his strength. Ezra aimed at her again, and this time, Liara grabbed it with her hand. “Save yourself.” She yelled before aiming at him, hurting his arms a little with the arrow made up of wood.

“Again!!” She motivated him, and Ezra did the same, ignoring the pain in his arm. “If you fail, then I will aim at you.” She added so that he would try his best.

Instead of sitting and doing nothing, she started training pups because Moana wasn’t training them right by training everyone the same thing. It was clear that a few of them were different.

Moana kicked twelve pups out of training, mentioning them as weak, and Liara started working on their strength.

“What do you think she is doing?” Edolie asked without looking at Ambrose. “She is spoiling them by playing with those twelve pups.” She said, watching Liara running as fast as she could while the pups were chasing her. After that, Liara started to climb on the tree and helped them to do the same.

“I can’t do this.” A pup said after failing to climb the tree for the fourth time.

“Don’t be disheartened, sweetheart!!” Liara said, caressing his head. “It’s okay if you can’t. I will see what are the other things which you are great at!! Just stop bringing negative thoughts into your mind because nothing is impossible.” She added to motivate him.

Ambrose observed that how Liara was motivating the pups even when they were failing in the work assigned to them, while on the other side, Moana was strict and rude to the pups who were failing in their work and was calling them Loser, stupid, and idiot and many more.

The pups with Liara were physically weak but were mentally happy, but the pups with Moana were physically strong and mentally stressed.

Ambrose could bet that tomorrow, the pups training under Liara would love to train with her while the pups with Moana would think of finding an excuse to skip the training.

“I’m not again, Theo’s mate, but I think I have to talk with him about today’s incident. She doesn’t belong here.” She muttered and looked at Ambrose. “What happened? What do you think?” She questioned.

“I don’t know. Do whatever you want. I just want this girl to be gone from here.” He muttered, looking at Liara.

“Please don’t hate her, Am!” Edolie said and sighed when he walked away.

Theodore returned to Black Council after spending hours at the mines to take an update on the work, only to get a bucket of complaints about Liara spoiling the pups from both the parents of the pups and Edolie.
