“I hope you know how to hunt animals in your wolf form.” Theodore pointed out the next day when he was giving more information about rogues and the way they live. Hearing this, Liara’s eyes widened in shock. She wouldn’t lie, but she had never had this type of thing before.
Hell, even though she was a werewolf, she had always eaten cooked meals that too in her human form. Observing her expression, Theodore realized that he had asked something that was out of the syllabus for his mate.
“A rogue eats their food in animal form, at least the one who gets their wolf. They hurt them and eat them without cooking them.” Just the thought made Liara sick. She was a doctor. She was trained to save someone’s life, not to kill them with her own paws and sharp teeth. Well, this wasn’t the end; she would also have to eat those poor creatures.
“Don’t overthink much, Lia. That’s the circle of life. I bet you have read in your books. Lions eat deer; deers eat grass and all those shit things. A part of you is a wolf, and a wolf is anything but not an herbivorous animal.” Theodore explained, knowing what exactly would be going on in her mind.
He wrapped his hand around her waist and kissed her neck, “Now, tell me, what is troubling you?”
“I don’t want to lose you. I can’t.” Tears dwelled in her eyes with the thought of failing in this challenge. Tears finally rolled out of her eyes in fear.
“Ah. This is it. You are crying because of such a small reason.” Theodore teased her, wiping her tears.
“Small reason? I will have to reject you, and you are saying this is a small reason?” Liara complained.
“As if I will let that happen,” Theodore said in a duh tone. “One of the qualities of rogue is that they play foul. Just because someone will keep this stupid condition, and I will accept it. Like hell.” he hissed.
“I don’t give a damn whether you lose or win, Lia, but only death can apart us. So, you don’t need to worry about losing me or any stuff related to it. This challenge thing was your idea and your decision, and I let you take that alone, but this… this is our thing. Only one person can’t decide it.”
“I can’t even understand why you will even reject me. You didn’t go against your family to reject me, did you?” He questioned, to which Liara shook her head innocently. “That’s it then; there is nothing to worry about now. If you can win this on your own, which I feel you will, then also we are going to stay together. If not, even then, I will make it happen by either hook or crook.
“But in that way, you won’t be able to earn their respect.” She whispered.
“Like hell I care about that.”
‘But I do. To rule like a leader, one has to be a leader. Maybe that’s the reason rogues are still against you because they’re scared of you.’ Liara thought.
“Anyway, it’s time to leave for your work. Tonight we will spend some time in our wolf form and teach you how to hunt, okay?” Hearing this, Destiny howled in excitement and happiness. No, she wasn’t interested in hunting but was happy with the thought of meeting Inigo.
