“Two weeks leave?” Doctor Ortega asked to which Liara nodded her head.

“Yes, Doc!! Though I have already informed you that I won’t be working here anymore. So, you can send the patient to my place. But before that, I… I’m going on a honeymoon with my mate.”

“Two weeks is a long time.” Doctor Ortega spoke, massaging his forehead. He was her senior as well as her professor as well when she was a student. “Now that you have become a healer, the number of patients will increase. Not just that, you’re the best in medicines, neurology, and gynae.”

“Well, anyone can handle the gynae department.” Liara pointed out. “And I’m sure there is a couple of healers in witches too.”

“Agree. But one has to pay something in return, and one can ask for anything in return. Moreover, werewolves will prefer a werewolf healer instead of a witch. I know not every witch is bad, but you can’t make others understand about the same.” Doctor Ortega said. “I have never thought that this day would come when you will disappear for two weeks.” He chuckled, knowing that she rarely took leave in the past two years and three months.

“Anyway, I will try to handle everything for two weeks, but I won’t lie to you, but the truth is, without you, I will feel like I lost my hand.”

Liara smiled but didn’t say anything, “Report here after your honeymoon. We can let you go without a farewell party.”

“Sure, Doc!!”

“And yes, don’t forget to give me the address of your place so that your patient can contact you over there.” Liara nodded her head but didn’t tell him that the place wasn’t fixed yet. But then it wouldn’t take a lot of time for Caroline to build a new hospital with her powers, maybe a month.

After that, she returned back to the cabin to resume what she had left before. She studied more about the supernatural hunter’s blood.

Everything about it was just negative, and there was no cure for it.

‘There must be something that no one of us. I will have to keep trying.’ Liara thought positively when she didn’t find anything.

‘Works apart!! Don’t you have to buy a ring for our mate to propose to him publicly?’ Destiny reminded her.

‘I wasn’t thinking of giving him some fancy and costly ring.’ Liara told her, looking at her diamond ring. ‘I’m thinking of giving him something that he will need.’

“I know what is going on in your mind.’

‘You mean OUR mind?’ Liara questioned, on which Destiny growled at her in approval.

“Successful operation, again.” Liara smiled and looked at her time. “We didn’t have thought that we would be able to save the pup after this accident.” Doctor Jane said that the patient brought to the hospital was attacked in her pregnancy stage with the intention to kill the pup because it was the Alpha Heir. If not for Liara’s power, they wouldn’t have been able to save the pup.

“Great Job, Doctor Wayne!!”

“I didn’t do anything. Moon Goddess didn’t want this pup to die.” Liara said and started leaving because Theodore was alone in the room.

She instructed the mate of the patient to take good care of his mate before finally leaving from there. When she reached the room, she found Theodore working on her laptop; it looked it he was working on something. She didn’t disturb him and changed her clothes. She silently went near him and watched him working on Excel, something that she didn’t know how to use. Looked like Theodore, too, had a lot of things on his plate.

She planted a kiss on his hair without disturbing me.

“Not now, Love!!” Theodore said, trying not to divert his mind.

“Okay!! I will be back soon.”

“Hmm!!” Liara let him work and went to meet Happy to get something that she wanted.
