Liara smiled and raised her hand to stay silent. “I see; you’re more interested in knowing about my relationship with my dad after I chose my mate. Or anything related to that rather than asking about the knowledge about how I’m standing here today.” Liara said. Theodore observed his mate, who was feeling nervous but was trying to mask it with a brave face. “Maybe that’s the reason why I’m standing here, and you all are sitting there as an audience.” She remarked, shocking everyone. It was like a tight slap to everyone who had asked stupid questions.

Theodore was amazed to see Liara speaking without stuttering. “Those who asked how can a father be cruel to separate his daughter from her fated?”

“Well, I have learned never to get upset or angry at my parent's scolding because they are the only one who wants you to have immense success and pleasure. My dad is not cruel; he is just concerned because he loves me a lot.”

Brandon was watching and listening to everything outside the auditorium, making sure that Liara wouldn’t see him. He had also masked his scent with Caroline’s perfumes so that no one could sense his presence.

“Most importantly, it’s all lie that my dad kicked me out of his life or his house. “So, how come you all are not cruel, but my dad is? It’s not that he is playing mind games to separate us or planning to kill my mate. In fact, he indirectly motivated me and helped me to become what I’m today.” Liara said.

“It's his blessing that I’m standing here and talking to you all this confidently. Parents can see and understand things a way better before their pup. After all, they had already crossed their pup’s age long before. Now that I look back then, I realize that my dad asked me to leave with my mate because he knew a small plant could not grow under a big tree’s shade. “I know, I have been speaking about my dad from the beginning, but after dad, if someone equally supported me in achieving my dreams, then it’s my mate,” Liara said and looked at Theodore with a smile. “I just want to confess that I have never regretted choosing you, and I promise to choose you over and over again in all my life,” Liara admitted her love for him without telling him I love you directly. “Thank you.” She said, looking at the crowd and bowing her head toward all God and Goddesses. She reached Theodore.

“Let’s go!!” She said in a low tone to take him from there. But Theodore yanked her arm, making her look into his eyes. Before she could understand anything, he slammed his lips against his.

It took a couple of seconds to realize what had just happened to her. He should have told her before kissing her so that she would have been prepared for that. But was this allowed in the academy? To kiss publicly? In front of everyone. Liara heard a lot of gasps, cheers, and claps.

‘Stop thinking and kiss him back!’ Destiny reminded her.

Liara encircled one of her hands around Theodore’s neck and the other one in his hair before kissing him back. She felt a little shy at first, but then, she wasn’t a student anymore. Moreover, he was her mate. People would understand that this was the excitement and desires of the couple who were in a long-distance relationship.

Theodore wasn’t planning to pull this stunt publicly because he was also shy when it came to getting intimate, but when his mate admitted her love for him in front of everyone, he wanted to do something to let her know that his feelings for her were no different.

Hell, neither of them had told each other ‘I love you’ until now, but yes, they have expressed it to each other in multiple ways.
