Chapter 15: Chapter 15

‘I’m scared.’ Liara muttered, running inside the forest in her wolf form.

‘Don’t worry. I’m with you.’

‘But you don’t know how to fight.’ Liara pointing.

‘Was that important to mention?’ Destiny questioned. ‘Anyways, I definitely know how to run.’ She said proudly. Liara nodded her head and recalled how she had used the stairs to leave the hostel as soon as possible.

After half an hour!!

Liara was standing in the middle of the forest. She shifted back into her human and wore the clothes that she had kept in her bag before shifting. She was standing exactly at the same place where he had thrown Alaric away from her. When she was running toward the forest, she smelt HIS scent around as if he was following her, but she didn’t stop there. She had to stop somewhere far away from the pack, so that pack members couldn’t reach HIM.

This kind of gave her a thought that he was here, around this pack, especially because of her.

“Will… will you come outside?” Liara asked because she could sense him but couldn’t see. She felt someone behind her, so she turned her head and found no one again, but HIS scent was strong this time, as if he was really there.

That was when she felt someone breathing.

‘Vampires don’t breath, do they?’ She questioned herself.

That was it; she slowly forwarded her hand toward the direction where she just heard someone breathing, and her hand felt someone’s body whom she couldn’t see.

“Aaaaaaa!!!” She cried in fear and quickly took a couple of steps backward. And then she started running away from there. Destiny scolded her human and asked her to stop. They were not here to run away from him. They were supposed to TALK.

But Liara stopped running when she saw his RED eyes, but unlike the previous time, his face wasn’t covered with a mask. She could see his face. He wasn’t some handsome hunk like his brothers, father, or brother-in-law but an average-looking man with a long beard and long hair, which gave him the look of a caveman from the stone age. The only exception was that they didn't use to wear clothes like in modern days. But at the same time, he was giving her a scary look.

She turned her heels to run in another direction, but her path was blocked again by HIM.

"Ple..please sto..stop following me." Liara whimpered, feeling scared of him because she was feeling trapped. At the same time, Destiny wanted to hit her head on the wall.

‘Instead of running, talk to him, idiottttt, OR I will have to handle everything.’ Destiny scolded her; unlike her human, she was bold and confident, but she never judged her human or made fun of her instead motivated her like a true friend.

Destiny’s words reminded her about some very important. She just couldn’t run away from there just like that. Not before giving this bond a close-up.

"Oh!! I…I get it... You can't s..stop yourself be..because of the mate bond. Let.. let's reject each other, okay?" She fumbled. "I, Liara Haysbert, da..daughter of Brandon Haysbert rejects…." Immediately she realized that she didn't know his name. "Ple..please tell me yo..your name." She whispered.

"Name?" He finally spoke for the first time in front of her. Liara grabbed her clothes tightly, hearing his voice.

‘Damn, it’s so sexy.’ Destiny howled in excitement.

"I don't have a name, Liara. Everyone calls me by different names; you can choose one to reject me. The options are Bastard, Killer, Asshole, Black, Red, Speed, dickhead, Beast, heartless, leech, dog, etc. The list is too long."

Liara furrowed her eyebrow, not believing him. After all, it was impossible that one wouldn’t have a name.

‘Was he lying to avoid rejection?’ She wondered, but she didn’t use the word ‘LYING’ in front of him.

"You… you're joking, right? Your parent's mi..might have…."

"The woman whom I could call mother died at the time of my birth, and that woman was raped multiple times. So, I don't know who my father is."

Liara's heart sank upon hearing this, and she soon realized what the hell she was going to do. She kept staring at him without blinking her eyes for a while before speaking. "Theodore."

It meant 'a gift of god'. And he was indeed a gift by Moon Goddess; otherwise, they wouldn't have been 'FATED MATES.'
