Chapter 149: Chapter 149
Liara didn’t know what all were the things that were included in his ‘a couple of surprises.’ But she had a feeling that they might go on a honeymoon.
And in case this wouldn’t be in his surprise plan, then she would surprise him by taking him on their honeymoon. After all, she was earning a good amount of money. Because all she had was a memory of a conversation about their honeymoon, but they never went to Maldives.
‘Book at least fourteen days trip. I want him badly.’ Destiny admitted, on which Loara blushed. And the mere thought of him made her press her thigh tightly. Looking at the girl in the mirror for the one last time, she walked out of the room that was allotted to her.
She didn’t want to meet Molly and her gang, but it looked like Moon Goddess wasn’t in her favor. Because the moment she walked out in search of anyone from her family, her eyes landed on Molly, Ruby, and other stupid irritating girls who couldn’t help themselves from irritating her.
“Alone again?” Molly asked, walking toward her. “This is what happens when you choose a beggar by going against your father.” She added with a smile and looked at Liara from top to bottom before commenting, "You look good but what is the use of that? Neither your mate is going to come here, nor do your parents.”
"I bet he marked you just because he didn't want to weaken his wolf. Otherwise, why would anyone ever be interested in a woman like you.” Ruby added, to which the girl in her gang giggled a little.
Liara took a deep breath and spoke, “Why you girls can’t handle that I achieved something that you all couldn’t and could never achieve even in the next five lives? Go and get a life rather than irritating me.”
“Earlier, you had a problem with why I always get treated like a princess. Then when I started living a normal life like you all, even in that situation, you all couldn’t mind your own business.” She snapped at them.
“Normal life? Really? I pity you, Liara if the life you’re living is something that you call a normal life where there is no one around you to love you.” Molly said before adding, “Earlier, we were jealous of you; now we pity you.”
‘Mate.’ Destiny said in excitement, sensing Theodore. She wanted to quickly run toward him, but Molly blocked her path again.
“Excuse me,” Liara said, not wanting to entertain them any longer.
“Hold up, you tiny bitch; we aren’t done yet." Molly said and signaled her gang to block Liara's path.” Molly giggled, showing everyone that they were having a friendly talk. The whole world was sealed with magic so that no supernatural creatures use their power unnecessarily. That was also the reason no werewolves could mind link anyone; in the same way, vampires, witches, and other creatures' powers were sealed to a limit.
In the same way, creatures were divided here on the basis of their power, not packs or covens. Discrimination on the basis of the pack or on the basis was prohibited from maintaining a peaceful environment.
Liara could bet that the people around her had no idea what Molly was exactly speaking to her. Her eyes landed on Molly's father, who was busy talking with someone else.
“I never get a chance to ask who that beggar is who marked you. I mean, he turned a princess into a servant who has to work so hard and do everything on her own." Molly joked.
‘He is here.’ Destiny said, on which Liara wanted to leave again. She didn’t want to create any drama over here though she was positive that this all was getting observed.
“Tell me the name of that beggar, and then you can go.” Molly teased her. “From which he is? I have never heard the name of any Alpha with WAYNE surname.”
“That’s because there is no Alpha in Black Council.” Someone answered Molly’s question loudly, making sure that everyone could hear that. Molly’s eyes widened for two reasons. One, she wasn’t expecting that someone could hear her, and second, BLACK COUNCIL!!
A smile appeared on Liara’s face, looking at the owner of the voice. Even she noticed the name of ‘Black Council.’ Theodore never told her anything about it to her. Anyways, she would talk to him about it later. She pushed Molly and ran toward him to hug him tightly, something that she had done when he was leaving her here for her studies.
All of a sudden, Liara stopped when she was a couple of inches away from him and smiled widely. She looked at his face to observe whether his feelings for her were still the same or if things got changed because of this long-distance relationship thing.
She squealed when Theodore pulled her in his arms and took a deep breath, inhaling her scent. Damn, he couldn’t explain how much he missed it, missed her.
‘Isn’t he the new leader of Black Council?’
‘Theodore Wayne, AKA Beast.’
‘He has hidden his mate here, and everyone was looking for her on earth.’
‘Obviously, no rogue wanted him as a leader, but just because he had no weakness, no one could do a thing against him.’
‘Doesn’t he have a heart? How can anyone stay away from their mate for this long? But then, rumors are that he is very cruel with the rogue and those people who oppose him.’ Inigo didn’t want to hear all this nonsense, but then his hearing skill wasn’t helping him at all.
Finally, after a lot of concentration, his attention was on his precious little mate. All he wanted was to hold her in his arms, feel her and smell her all the time.
