Theodore brought Liara to the hotel. He could never thank Alaric for the money and Zach for teaching him how to survive in the human world, who had helped him in opening a bank account and taught him how to use a card or online banking.
“Water!!” Theodore gave her warm water, just like she liked to drink.
“I’m not feeling thirsty.” She muttered. Theodore sat beside her and looked at her, who was looking at the floor keenly.
“Are you regretting your decision to choose me?” He asked because she was extremely sad.
“Nooo,” Liara was quick to reply to him. “I’m thinking about…. Nothing.” She said, shaking her head. She realized that her upset mood was affecting him too. And she didn’t want to make him feel what he just felt. She gave him a small smile and took the glass from his hand to drink it.
“I can’t believe we are together now.” She said, after drinking the water.
“Same!!” Theodore muttered, caressing her cheek to acknowledge that Liara was indeed sitting beside him. A part of him was happy, while the other part of him was worried for her. There were a lot of things that he had to do to give Liara the life that she always lived. But before that, he had to make sure that Liara’s dream wouldn’t get shattered.
“Lia….. what are your fees in that Elite Academy?” Theodore asked, knowing that he had made the arrangement for that amount before the end of this month, recalling the conversation between her father and her.
“You don’t need to worry about that, Theo,” Liara said calmly.
“Don’t tell me that you’re thinking of giving up on your dreams, Lia. I don’t mind if anyone will call me a loser because that’s what I’m, as I have never achieved a thing in my life until now. But I can’t handle someone else saying the same for you.” Theodore said and held Liara’s hand, “I never had a dream before, neither I knew the meaning of this word. Hell, I didn’t even know how to spell this word or read it. But I have a dream now. I want you to fulfill your dream. I want you to become a doctor.”
Liara wanted to speak something, but Theodore placed his finger on her lips, shutting her mouth, “I will arrange money for your fees. But not by doing any wrong work.” he added quickly because he recalled Steve Weasley’s warning.
When they were leaving Brandon’s Mansion, Steve had mind linked him. As a werewolf King, he had the power to mind-link any werewolf in the world, but they couldn’t answer him back.
‘The only reason I’m letting you go is YOUR MATE. If I get any news, any single news against you, then even Liara won’t be able to save you, Inigo, and Theodore. That includes using Liara against me. And the most important thing, by now, you must have realized that Liara is a blessed werewolf. Keep her safe because she is the future of our world. All the creatures who are hungry for powers will want her because of her powers, so stay prepared for that. Maybe that’s the reason Moon Goddess blesses you with so many powers.’
Theodore didn’t know who those creatures were or who would want his Lia, but he definitely knew that for vampires, Liara would be a perfect blood bank with never-ending blood.
