“What the fuck was that, dad?” Calvin questioned Brandon, not believing what he just did. Colton didn’t question his father because he already knew the answer, but he just couldn’t rest in peace with the thought that his sister was out there on the street without anything in her hand.

How would she survive?

He went directly into his room. There were two results of this incident. Either his father would prove himself right that Theodore was no good for Liara, OR Liara would prove everyone wrong about Theodore. And at the moment, he really hopped for the second option. Because if Theodore was really just using Liara, then she would be the one who would get hurt the most.

Immediately he realized something else. All those times when he was hurting Theodore, he felt Theodore wasn’t able to use his power, but the moment his canine appeared to mark Liara, his misconception was changed.

‘That means he was taking all those punches willingly to show Lee. Why did he do that? To use her emotionally.’ Colton thought, massaging his head with his fingers. He wanted to go out and stop Liara from leaving. And he knew his father wanted to do the same, but the only reason that was stopping him from doing so that the fact that he wanted Liara to see Theodore’s real face. After all, during the worst storm of life, one would get to see the true color of people who said they cared for them.

Brandon was burning in anger as flame coursed through his veins and pumped his heart aggressively as he sat on the couch. He watched Tiara ask helpers to clean the mess that had been created inside the Mansion before bringing the kids and Sophia out of the bunker.

He closed his eyes, ignoring Calvin’s question. He threw Liara out of his place. This was something that he couldn’t believe as well. His own words were haunting him now. He knew his words had hurt Liara, but he wasn’t celebrating here either.

He wasn’t her villain. He wanted the best for her, but it looked like she had lost her ability to think.

Not just him but even his wolf was restless within him for his pup. He was mad at his human for hurting his pup. He wanted to take control and go after Liara to bring her back. He didn’t trust Liara’s mate.

What if he would sell Liara for money after all, now she would have been of no use to him!!

The mere thought scared him.

He couldn’t show, but he was going through a lot of emotions at that moment. He was in pain, hurt, angry, scared, nervous, and many more. He took a deep breath and sensed Sophia walking in his direction. He had no idea how she would behave after finding the truth.

And he bet that she would already have known about it by now. His tensed body relaxed when Sophia placed her hand on his shoulder.

“Lily, bring a glass of chilled water,” Sophia ordered and pressed his shoulder near his neck softly. “Relax!!” She whispered.

Brandon held her soft hand and looked up at her face, “You’re not mad at me?”
