Chapter 4: Chapter 4
(THIRD PERSON POV)
Morning came for Luna, and the time when she'll get to see her family also comes. She's only planning on staying there for a day, but she's got a lot of plan for her and her little brother to spend to. She missed him so much, and she wonders about their situation. It has been months since she doesn't come home, and her brother only called her a few times. And when she's the one calling, it was always unreachable.
Luna walked out of her room, wearing jeans, a white shirt was her top, and a purple cardigan was belted on her waist. She walked towards Ivy's room and opened it without knocking. They're used to it, just casually walking in each other's room without asking for consent cause they doesn't need it at all.
Ivy was still sleeping, and Luna sat at the bed to shake her. Ivy scratches her forehead while yawning with her eyes still closed.
"Ivy, I'm gonna go now" Luna said.
Ivy tiredly lifted her body to sit and face Luna. She was still sleepy, but things like bidding short goodbyes was truly important for them.
"Right, what time is it now? Wait for me, I'm gonna see you outside" Ivy said, and Luna nodded.
Ivy took her time to brush her hair and wear her sweater. The two of them walked to the door with Luna leading outside. When they're already out, they shared a hug and they were like the moms of each other, casually leaving their advices and reminders.
"The stove, check if it's close before going to bed" Luna said.
"Right. And you, don't talk to strangers but when he's handsome. Took a picture and send it to me okay?" Ivy said, and Luna slapped her arm.
They chuckled before Luna turned around and walked till she reached the highway. A cab was about to pass and she signaled for it to stop. She had to ride it to the train station. She entered the cab with her phone vibrating, and she was expecting that is was Ivy or from their groupchat, but the recipient was different.
Unknown number: Luna, I hope this was still your number. It's Clyden, I just got back from Paris, I'll visit your house later at evening. I miss you so much!
Luna was surprised, he actually remembered? Clyden, she wonders how have he been those past years after Clyden's family chose to live at Paris. Clyden was her cousin from her Mother's side. He was also smart, and he's very good to her. Clyden's family was far from them though, she doesn't know anything, but Clyden dropped out of College and was actually doing good as he found his job. Their families wasn't that close, but Clyden was very close to them. And her mother Diane, she's actually fond of him more than her. She even compared her always to him.
Luna replied at him saying that she's excited to meet him, and that she misses him too. And she's not even lying, the two of them were so close to each other before and when they're little, they were inseparable.
She wonders what does he look like now, and how good his life is. She's happy though, she's always rooting for him, and that never changed.

The Casa was so noiseless enough to hear footsteps, and as clear as it was echoing through the vast space was Avien's heels. Ace had just got down from the staircase, and Avien was already approaching him while carrying a folder.
"Here, the records" Avien said.
She handed the folder at Ace who already knows what it contains. It has the record of their loss from the sabotage.
The Creed lets out a smirk while closing the folder. He wasn't disappointed, nor surprised by the amount of loss. It was rather an amount that didn't meet his expectations, and the smirk was because he thought that...
"Valentine could've done better" Ace said.
Avien wasn't surprised that Ace was rather disappointed by the record. Porsche Valentine was a Billionaire, a leader of his own Corporation, and someone who's also managing its way on the black market, but his power couldn't even wreck the half percentage of a single Creed inventory.
Ace doesn't care about the amount of money though, even if it was millions of worth, he was just actually triggered by the life of his men on that inventory. Valentine didn't spare them, and Ace couldn't help but to think and do the same thing.
"What about his men?" Avien said, though she knew what will be Ace's answer.
"You know well that we don't spare, Kim" Ace said.
"I know, I-" Avien was interrupted from the sudden sound of the door opening.
Footsteps of a leather black shoes like Ace was echoing throughout and even when they couldn't see the man behind the sound. They know who it is. After all, no one could have an access inside the Casa easily than the three of them.
The man appeared at them while smiling, and he ran to Avien and Ace, pressing them in a group hug.
"Stop it, Parker" Avien said as she pushed him.
"I'm sorry, I just missed you two" Parker said, and he was about to hug Avien again but the lady avoided him.
"Well I don't" Avien said.
It's only when Parker was around when Avien get to change a tiny bit of her personality. Parker is the only one who annoys her, and the only one who can tease the cold lady.
Ace can't do anything but to ignore his two colleagues bickering. He got used to it. It may not fully seem obvious, but the three of them are close enough to be called as friends, though no one has ever mentioned about it. They're contented, they got the backs of each other and it's all that matters.
Ace fixed his tie from getting messy due to Parker's hug. He can't blame him though, it was his comrade. And though Ace was the type to avoid skinship, Parker was brave enough to approach him that way.
"Welcome back, Parker" The Creed said.
CLYDEN PARKER, he's the technical brain of the Creed's cluster, the hacker of the team. Vengeance was out of his cognition, but his will to help Ace and Avien was existing with solidity. After all, the master helped him and his family from being slaves due to their debts. Ace was their saviour, and he was just doing what he can to compensate at least.
"I heard about that dealer, Porsche Valentine. What did he do?" Parker said.
And by the question of their tech, they have walked like it was a usual thing to do, like heading to the immense room which they call the blue room would be necessary. It was their expanse for business affairs. It was Parker's heaven, and his world.
Parker ran to his desk, the part of the room which he established his beloved computers, used for their works.
Ever wondered how they crack every lock on buildings, even those with tight f*cking security. How Ace could have known his foes' every bit of information, and scare the hell out of them? It was all Parker. Just a click at his devices and he could make them shatter into pieces.
"It was Sabotage and ambush, it all led to Valentine" Avien said.
"How much is the loss?" Parker said.
"Close to a hundred" Ace said as he sat on the white couch.
And though Ace haven't mentioned about it, Clyden knows that it wouldn't just be Hundred of thousands. But millions worth from that inventory was taken.
"D*amn" Parker said, tilting his head. He bit his bottom lip and looked at Ace. But the Creed was just sitting at the couch, unbothered. His legs were crossed while slightly leaning forward to reach the wine glass at the center table.
Parker knew Ace's attitude, but talking about millions just gives him a different vibe. After all, he was once a son of a debt-full family. Their life were once put in danger because of money. But he doesn't have the capability to fight with gùns like Ace and Avien. Things like this just rather get him motivated to fight with his own weapon, his devices and brain.
Ace sipped on his wine and put it again in the table. And the moment he did that, his comrades get their full attention on him. It was like their body was used to, and their anticipation for whatever the Creed would say has increased. They know him well, they knew that the moment Ace would rest the shiny glass at the table, he was ready to talk.
"His warehouse at 451 West St. you know the drill, Parker" Ace said while crossing his arms.
"Aight, Creed" Parker said.
Parker quickly turned his office chair and face the screen of his computer. He just touched the mouse, and his focus couldn't be break. Once he started working, you can barely talk to him.
"Get your gùn ready for tomorrow, Kim" Ace said while the room was filled with sounds from Parker, clicking aggressively, typing nonstop while he's on his world.
"You know I'm always ready" Avien replied while pulling her gùn iside her coat.
The sound of Parker working just stopped and the two gunner knows what's next. Their attention was on Parker when he turned his office chair around again to face them, smiling ear to ear. Parker stood up, stretching his back while lifting both of his arms.
"I thought that Porsche was a Billionaire? His security sucks. Though I still have to be there, some won't work unless I work near the site" Parker said, gaining a smile from Avien and a smirk from the Creed.
"Of course, there's only three of us. We'll all be present" Ace said.
Ace stood up while the two watches him. He turned his backs on them and started walking to the door. It's a sign that they're settled, their mission will be conducted tomorrow, and whatever happens, nothing could change their plans. Not unless the Creed himself tells them.
Meanwhile, Parker remembered that he has something to do, and something to go to.
He was about to head outside the room like their master, but Avien spoke.
"Where are you going?" Avien asked while still sitting at the couch, pouring herself a wine.
"I'm visiting someone," Parker said.
Parker knew what Avien was thinking, but he also know that it's only because she was giving him a warning, about their works, and about who they are in the present.
"It won't fail anything, Avien" Parker added, then he got out of the room.

Luna was still an hour away from her house, and she couldn't help but to get sick of riding the bullet train while just listening to music. She wonders if Clyden was already there, though her cousin said that he's planning to visit at evening.
Luna sighed after the music on her earphones stopped, and a new song was about to get played. She smiled when she realized the song, it was Terry's favorite.
Terry often ask her to sing the song as his lullaby, when he's scared, or when he's sad. And eventually, getting used to the song made Luna get attached to it. Like it was a nerve thing to unconsciously hum its sound, just like what she's doing at the moment.
"You are my sunshine, my only sunshine,
You make me happy, when skies are gray"
She smiled when she realized that she was actually singing along to the song, and she looked around if anyone heard her. Fortunately, everyone was minding their own business inside the train. Other people were sleeping, there's a baby crying, and some were just like her, spacing out while waiting to get on their destination.
An hour had passed on Luna, and her playlist was finished thirty minutes ago. She was still wearing earphones when the bullet train stopped, until she got outside and started walking.
At last, one last cab would she take to see her family, she thought. Luna can already feel the familiar ambiance, and the atmosphere of her hometown. She inhaled the breeze and smiled upon noticing some changes at the place. She was just standing along the highway when she felt thirsty all of a sudden. She smiled when her eye catches a Cafe not far away from her, but she sighed, thinking if she'll just let her thirst pass and just go straight at home.
But Luna felt her throat dried out, she actually forgot to bring her tumbler or bring a water with her. And After minutes of thinking, Luna decided to go at the Cafe.
She entered the Cafe with a refreshing smile on her face, then she straightforwardly went to the counter to order her drink.
"Here's your order Ma'am" says the lady at the counter.
Luna smiled and said her thanks to the lady, then she sat beside the glass wall of the Cafe.
Luna was just sipping on her drink, thinking of her plans with Terry. But her thoughts got interrupted when she saw a car parked at the parking area of the cafe. She can see it since she was sitting right beside the transparent glass wall. She suddenly cursed that one word inside her head as she stared at it for a while.
It was a Black Atlantic Buggati La Voiture Noire for God's sake, Luna knows it cause she's actually a big fan of luxury cars. But how come a million dollars worth of car just freaking parked casually at a cafe??? She thought. Luna could only see such car on magazines or movies but she's seeing it now before her amber eyes.
A guy got outside the car, he was dressed in suit, black haired, Luna thinks that he's just around her age, and he's carrying an unexplainable aura. Something that she's never seen before, someone that she probably haven't experienced encountering in her life.
But she's wrong, the man was getting familiar and his face was getting clearer as he walk towards the Cafe.
It was her cousin Clyden.
Clyden walked inside the Cafe and went straight where Luna was sitting. He smiled and hugged Luna as he approached her. Luna hugged him back while also smiling ear to ear.
"I missed you so much, Luna. How are you?" Clyden said as he sat in front of Luna.
The heavy aura that Luna catches earlier seems to fade as she realize who it was. But she was also confused, she knew that Clyden was actually doing great in Paris, but she didn't expect him to look so different like this. It got her asking... What kind of job does her cousin find? Well, she's happy for him.
Luna got away with her questions and focused on his cousin sitting in front of him. He was dressed different, but he's still the same Clyden, she thought.
"I miss you too. I'm doing good, I'm actually still at Colix" Luna said.
At the mention of the institution, Clyden actually got a different thing in mind. Ace was the first one he could think of as he knew that his master just recently decided to go there. And at the reminder of his work, Clyden was actually overwhelmed that Luna hasn't question about it, even the fact that he get to know where exactly Luna is at the moment.
He actually tracked her number.
He could ask her for that, but Clyden got used to doing things directly and if he has the capability to know something, as long as he could do it, he will.
"Is that so? Then I guess you're still smart huh?" Clyden said, teasingly.
Luna chuckled at him, "Well, of course" She said while acting like flipping her hair.
"Are you just visiting home?" Clyden asked, and Luna nodded while sipping on her drink.
"I'm actually gonna go back tomorrow," Luna said.
Clyden suddenly remembered their mission tomorrow. It had him thinking of accompanying Luna, but they have their plan. But he really wants to help her...
"What time were you gonna go back?" Clyden said.
"Maybe, as early as 7?" Luna said, thinking.
"Then, I can give you a ride tomorrow. I don't have work at that time" Clyden said.
Luna suddenly lit up and smiled. She was grateful for the offer, it will greatly save her money if she get to go back for free. Plus, she'll get to talk to her cousin more.
Luna and Clyden talked for half an hour without realizing that they're topic has gotten past. They talked about the things they did before, like bathing in the rain and get scolded after. They shared chuckles and shared what they missed on each other.
Not for long and they decided to get out of the Cafe. Clyden will go to Luna's house and visit, and Luna felt so lucky to actually receive a free ride. And for God's sake... She'll get to ride a freaking Bugatti.
"Let's go?" Clyden said.
"Let's go, I really want to see them now" Luna said.
