I was about hitting the ground when Dave caught me and we stared into each others eyes, I was literally falling for him.

"Ehmm"Jake coughed and mom and dad left

"Thank you"I said as I pulled away and sat close to Jake.

"How are you feeling"I asked worried

"Am fine and please don't pity me"He said

"Like brother, like sister"Dave chuckled and I shot him a glare while he laughed silently.

"I can go get you some food" I said

"Don't bother fag"he said

"Seriously, now's not the time nor place" I said strictly

"No more lectures faggy"he and Dave laughed

"You too Dave?"I asked almost pissed

Damn!

"Please don't be pissed but that was a little funny, I mean what's faggy" he said.

He laughed loudly holding his stomach. I got pissed and hit him on his chest and sat down on a couch farther from them.

"I'm sorry, jean" he said

"Whatever" I said

"Come on" he smiled

"Stop smiling"I said

"Smirking"he said.

He came closer to me and surprisingly gave me a tight hug.

"I can't breath" I said

"Sorry about that"he said still hugging me

"Dave you...."

The door squeaked opened and Alice was seen standing beside the door and stared at us awkwardly.

I quickly disengaged from the hug.

"Alice, what are you doing here" I asked

"I was just discharged, so I decided to come and see Jake"she said staring at us

"That's great, now you guys should sit down" he said

We sat down close to Jake and he tried every trick in his sleeve just to make us feel comfortable.

You know that Jake is coming back today, so we have to make everywhere spotless, and also make his favourite dish.

"Sure thing mom" I said

I help Mom and Leila to clean the house and prepare Jakes fave dish.

I was about to going to the kitchen when my phone rang.

I picked it up and the first name I saw brought goosebumps to my body.

Dave's calling me!

I cleaned my eyes just to be sure before I answered the call.

"Good morning Jean" he said

"good morning "I said with a bright smile on

"how was your night" he asked

"it was kinda bad"I said

"why"he said

"because Jake wasn't here"I said

"sorry about that "he said

"he's gonna be coming today, discharged of course" I said

"that's great can I come over, and maybe we can hang out "he said

I couldn't help but to smile

Can today get any better

"sure" I said still smiling

"bye see you in your house of course"he said

"yeah bye"I said shyly

I better find a suitable outfit to wear before she arrives.

Just a few minutes later, I heard a car horn and I unconsciously peeped to see.

"Its dad"I said and ran out

Dad accompanied Jake towards the door, immediately I sighted them, I rushed to hug Jake.

How i  missed his scent.

"Do you want to kill me?" He asked

"No but I will because if how long you kept me waiting" I said and we laughed

"It was just 9 hours ago, you got discharged before me and I just spent the night there" he said

"Whatever, Dave will be here any minute from now" I said

He gave me a stare and I didn't like it.

"What?"I asked

"Nothing"he said and we walked into the house in silence.

The house was on fire not literally, everyone came to hug Jake and that dog almost jumped on me. We had a great time.

Not so long Nikki and Dave arrived looking handsome than ever, he wore a white shirt and black trouser with black shoes and so did Nikki, they really look alike. As soon as I heard their voices, I quickly rushed up to my room, applied some makeup, brushed my hair and changed my clothes.

I didn't want mom to ask questions so I quietly walked back to my seat but I accidentally slipped on the wet floor and almost fell but Dave caught me again!!

Drama!!

You know what happened next don't you?

"Hey, I guess you're always in a rush" he said and lifted me up

"Sorry about that" I said and quickly walked to my seat.

We ate happily, chatted with each other, the party still continued but Dave signaled me saying "we have to go".

Me and Dave decided to stroll a little before taking a cab.

"Sorry for rushing you" he said

"You didn't rush me" I said

"Yes I did, today is meant to be about Jake but I rushed you to come with me" he said

"Dave just let it go.."

"I like the way you call my name and by the way you look beautiful in that dress"he said and I blushed

"And way more beautiful when you blush" he smiled

This time I tried hard not to blush again, I covered up with a huge smile.

"Why don't we take a cab from here" I said and he nodded

He stopped a cab, told the driver the destination, we got in and he drove off.

I really don't know Paris much but I must say its huge.

"Enjoying the view" he said

"Its beautiful but not as beautiful as New York" I said

"That's a lie" he frowned and I laughed

"Turn that frown upside down" I said and we laughed

The car stopped and I knew we had arrived, we went down, he insisted on paying so I left him.

I looked around and couldn't decipher where exactly I was.

"Its a beach" he said

"That explains a lot"I said

"Can we go in my princess" he said with a bow

"Yes of course sir" I said and we laughed

Funny as always!

"Wow" I exclaimed

"Still believe that New York is more beautiful than Paris" he asked

"Yeah, maybe" I doubted

"Whatever" he rolled his eyes

"Come on" I said and dragged him

We spent the afternoon laughing, talking about ourselves and so on.

I like his company but sadly we had to go home.

"It's getting late, we have to go now" he said

"But its just 3:30pm" I said

"Yeah, it's late" he said

"Fine but can we take one more selfie" I said

"Sure" he said

I took a selfie of him making silly faces and sniffing my hair.

"That will do it" I said

"Now let's go" he held my hand and led the way

He kinda dropped me off and left saying that"Nikki called him".

I had the best time.

I opened the door, walked in and met my brother watching a boring movie, he suddenly looked up and gave me a stare with a smile.

"What is going on in that head if yours" I said

"You took to long" he said

"I went out with..."

"Dave I know" he cut in and faced his movie.

What the hell!!

"Jean, jenny" ally said as she came down from the stairs

"What is it"I asked

"Where have you been?"she asked

"I went out with Jake"I said and her eyes widened

"Really?"she asked

"Yeah, I just..."

Not letting me finish my statement, how rude, she dragged me up to her room and sat me on her bed.

"Tell me the details" she said

"OK, well, we had a lot of fun, took pictures.."

"Show me the photos please"she cut in

"Fine, just settle down" I said

I showed her the photos and she zoomed  in all of Dave's pics calling him cute.

Something's up.

"Why are you behaving like Thais and why did you ask for our photo" I asked

"I can't believe, how am feeling but I think I have a crush on Dave" she said happily
