Jenny's POV
"Wait like a...date?"... I asked
"No, I just said hang..o..ut"... He said shyly
"OK, no problem then"...I said
I can literally feel my cheek getting hot.
We stood there staring at each other for a few minutes, I removed my gaze and stared at the ceiling.
Who am I kidding, I really want to stare at his blue eyes forever but I just can't.
"I'll go now"... He said
"Why".. I asked
"I can sew that I interrupted you and your food".. He said
"OK then, can you please check if Alice is awake?"... I said
"Yeah, I'll check"... He said
He stood there for a while before he left.
I can't believe what just happened.
Does he like me?.
Wait what am I thinking.
He's right, I didn't even eat when he was here, damn, am I in love?.
Dave's POV
I was tired of waiting I really wanted to finish our conversation.
I knocked her ward and was happy she let me in.
I went in and saw she was already dressed and I must say, she looked beautiful even when frowning.
We talked for a while and I was happy I made her laugh, she really looked cute when she's blushing and yeah I saw that.
I couldn't believe myself when I accidentally asked her on a date, well I lied about that part so that it will not be awkward.. But it still was.
We stared at each other for a few minutes and am damn serious when I say, she has beautiful, pink and small lips.
She had a big heart to ask for her friend at that time.
Damn, I think that I'm in love!
I walked out of the ward and met her mum with a deadly glare.
I'm in trouble.
"She's eating now"...I said
"So fast"... She said with a smile.
I just escaped that, I should go check on Alice, just for Jean.
I walked to Alice ward and saw my parents coming out.
"Is she awake?"... I asked
"Yes, she's just relaxing now"...mom said
"Do you mind if we go and you watch her"... Dad said
"No problem dad"... I said
I walked into her ward without knocking, my bad and she was surprised, am in for a query.
Alice POV
"Sorry I didn't knock before entering"... He said
"Its ok".. I said and flipped my hair backwards
"Jenny said I should check if you are okay"... He said
"I'm fine"... I said
"Cute dress"... He said and I blushed

"Can I sit?"... He walked up to a couch
"Yeah it's cool"... I said and he sat
"Do you love singing?"..I asked
"Well I love singers"... He said and I was wowed
"Am a singer, Jenny is a dancer"... I said
"Jean is a dancer, am surprised!"...he exclaimed
"We are having a show next week"... I said
"Wow, I would love to attend, but what's the exact date and time"... He asked

"You'll have to wait to find out"... I said
"Till when"... He asked
"When the flyers are ready"...I said and chuckled
Did I flirt well?
Damn am not good at this.
"Ok, I can't wait to see you and Jean perform"... He smiled
Only he's smile can raise the dead.
And why does he always call her Jean.
That doesn't matter now, what matters is how am feeling for Dave.
"Alice..Alice"... He called
"Oh, sorry I was admiring your...I mean the room, it's beautiful"... I said

"OK, I'm gonna tell Jean that you're okay"... He said and stood up
"Will you come back?"... I asked sadly.
"Yeah, I just need to"...
The door squeaked open and Jenny was behind it.
"Jenny, we were just talking about you, wait, were you allowed to go"... I said
"I was just discharged, technically because my parents are here the doctor discharged me saying I should take some pills to reduce the pain on my head, apart from that am fine."...she said
"Wow, that's great, am happy, that you're alright"... He said
He stood up, went close to her and surprisingly hugged her and she accepted the hug.
Damn, I shouldn't be jealous they are just friends but when did they become friends.
"Am sure the doctor will soon discharge you too"... She said and pulled from the hug
"Yeah I'm sure, but what about Jake"... I asked
"I'm not sure he'll be discharged anytime from now"... He said
"Why do you say that"...she said
"He has a broken arm".. He said and stared at Jenny
"I should go check on him"... She said
"I'm coming with you"... He said
"Me too"... I said
I stood up and was about to follow them but Dave stopped me.
"You should rest you haven't been discharged yet"... He said and left with Jean.
I few minutes later, the doctor and Dave's parents came in and the doctor discharged me,But before that he was saying some doctor stuff blah blah blah, all I care about now is that am discharged, I gotta meet Dave and Jenny.
Jenny POV
"I'll show you his ward"... He said and held my hand dragged me through the passage.
I felt a strange feeling when our hands touched.
Why the hell am I feeling this way.
"Oh, am sorry"... He stopped and left my hand
"Its okay"... I said
There was this awkward silence again.
Damn!. In my brothers situation am still behaving like this.
"We should go"...I said and lead the way
"Can you direct me?"... I asked
Gladly Dave showed me his ward.
I kinda felt nervous for no reason but I think I know why.
"Are you scared of seeing Jake in that state"... He asked
"I..."
"Don't worry, you don't have to reply, am fine with it"... He said
I smiled at his statement, he's so caring and thoughtful.
I breathed in before opening the door and saw mum and dad sitting close to Jake who hand was wrapped with a bandage!!
I think am gonna faint!
