Kip's POV.
I groaned in deep pain as blood gushed out of my leg, my heart was beating very fast and loud, the sound of bullets had filled the air, over my head bullets kept passing through...
I was the cause of all this, because of me Xavier would experience a huge loss, it would not be easy for him to even escape being caught today...
It was clear that someone was ahead of us, that person broke into my system and was able to even watch us through the CCTV camera...
I shut my eyes with a deep sigh before tying up my wound, I dragged myself to the side of the couch.
I would only be safe if our men were able to make those cops retreat,
My sight caught a glimpse at the system and I could see what was happening outside.
My heart swam into my belly in shock and horror.
I must have underestimated the men who came for this battle, they aren't mere policemen.
The men were highly skilled in guns and combat, I stared in fear as they kept bringing down our men.
I shut my eyes and my mind flashed to Fred my boss, the man who had made me the great computer operator I am...
He can be said to be a computer himself, almost all I learnt was from him.
This had made me jealous that I kept reporting every bad he did to Xavier secretly,
I was the one who made Xavier know fully well about his affection for Sophia.
I wanted him to be killed by Xavier so I would be the next, I badly wanted to be the greatest...
Words couldn't express how glad I was when his memory was wiped away and I was appointed the technology head.
Right now, a little thought had just flashed through.
Fred was the only one who can break my code because I was using his intelligence to operate...
He taught me how to hold down every connection by hacking through satellite, I did it well exactly as he taught...
How then could someone break in??
Just then, I heard a beep from my phone.
I took it and got my eyes popped out as I saw the message.
It was from Fred!!!
Your jealousy and evil heart would take your life today, you can never know better than your teacher...

The phone fell off as all doubt became clear...

I was still dumb in shock when the door was busted open...
I looked up and three agents were pointing their guns at my head...
A huge lump covered my throat holding me from saying a word, fear gripped me so much that I was only quivering.
My eyes were glued at the gun as they moved their finger to the trigger.
Oh, is this how I would die??
"Where is Xavier?" One of them asked but I was too shocked to say anything...
The fact that Fred was still the Fred before and was the mastermind behind all this made my head blank...

A bullet went into my shoulder instantly sending a rush of intense pain over my whole body...
I quivered and sprawled all over the floor, the pain was too much that I felt like I would die...
I watched as blood spilt off, I groaned deeply feeling so hot...
Tears kept falling freely, there was no doubt I was dying of the pain in my legs and shoulder,
"Where is Xavier right now!!!" They howled and cocked their gun...
My whole body stiffed, I kept breathing heavily trying to beg but couldn't move my lips.
Another quickly pulled the trigger and I closed my eyes but felt no pain even when I heard the sound...
Two more sounds of bullets went over my ear but still yet, I felt no pain...
Was I dead already???
I opened my eyes only to see Xavier in front of me...
He had saved me!!
"Get off from there you bullish*t!!" He growled and peeped into my system...
"All my men are dead!!!!!" He exclaimed in shock.
I dragged myself up and sat on the couch...
"Are the cops remaining??" I asked slowly.
"I can't find any here??.." He replied clicking on the different blocks or records...
"We are the only survival, those men fought to the death, let's leave here now!!!!..the connection would return in 60 seconds!!" I growled dragging my messy self up...
Blood covered me, pain shredded every part of my body, I felt like dying...
My legs and hand were so heavy as blood drip out, I felt so weak but needed to be alive...
"Kip!!!.. I would be leaving now!!..you mustn't drag me along with your useless self..." Xavier snorted and turned to leave...
"Where are the guards...with you??..they should help me move!!" I breathed.
"They also died when one of the agents tried sneaking in through the back door, those guards died with him...Kip, you can die for causing this great loss to me, that person who could break your code is fairer than you..fool!!!.." He spat and pushed me in anger...
"Xavier!!!" I called out and he sneered at me.
"I'm leaving here to look for that computer genius who did this, he either joins me or I take his life, I would make him join us so you would be useless to me..die!!..I don't care!!" He huffed in fury as he saw all his men died because of me...
"We have just 30 seconds!!!" I screamed and he ran off instantly...
Adrenaline rushed through my bloodstream giving me a strange strength, why would I die so stupidly...
I even need to talk to Xavier to stop dreaming...that computer genius is Fred, never would he agree to work with him after all that happened...
Piles of dead bodies filled the floor outside...
Xavier had already gotten into the car and was about to zoom off when he saw me...
"Get in!!!" He shouted and I dragged myself to the car...
Just as he made to drive off, the gate opened with three cars coming in...
"What the heck!!!!" Xavier growled and made to force his way out even with the car that drove in...
Less did we knee they were prepared, just a few metres off to the gate, our four tyres were busted.
"Oh f**k!!!!!!" Xavier shouted in frustration hitting the steering...
He took out two pistols and stepped out in fury and impulse...
Xavier's POV.
My whole body was full of rage, my eyes were bloodshot, all I long for was the blood of these men who stood in my way...
This is my greatest loss in history, almost all my men had lost their lives in just a single night.
Their bodies lying over the floor made me grow in rage...
I would surely kill these men!!!!
Rushing down from my car, I quickly sent bullets to the cars, I kept shooting but found out the cars were bulletproof...
I growled in anger before dropping the gun waiting for the men to come out.....
Just then, the cars door opened leaving me anxious...
"What!!!!!" I found myself screaming as I saw Sophia step out first...
My eyes couldn't believe she was the one...
Next was Bryan then Rose...
I stood transfixed watching them...
My gun dropped off my grip as I saw the last man step out...
Fred????
He had a sided smile on his face...
I couldn't believe it was real!!!
My doubts are cleared.
He was the mastermind behind all that had been happening...
He was the one can hack through a well-protected system, he was the one who must have broke Kip's code easily without notice...
My gaze rested on him like he was a ghost, it was obvious he never lost any memory...
"Big surprise???" He smirked and held Sophia on the waist drawing her to his body closely...
I could say a word, this must not be real...I'm dreaming!!!
"You never wanted us together but here we are..." He smirked and pecked her cheek.
"Fred is that you???" I stuttered with my lips quivering.
I turned my gaze to Bryan and Rose and couldn't even look at their faces, how would I had even known that my whole plan was alloyed from the beginning.
I felt weak and exhausted,
"Boss, that is Fred.." I heard Kip voice from my back.
"You read my message right??..you both would die in our hand, that way you can pay for all your evil!!" Fred smirked.
I stared at their faces including Jace and Clara, words can't explain how intimidated I was...
These are little kids who I had manipulated their parents for a long time, I must have underestimated them leading to this...
"Surrender now!!" Rose snorted and I felt my heart grow heavy in anger.
"What made you think I would??" I sneered and she scoffed.
"You look so pitiful now..." She muttered with a giggle.
"Boss, the connection has returned, the news had circulated..." Kip whispered to me and I shut my eyes in feeling exhausted.
Is this my end??
"Kip, your skill hadn't increased so much, you shouldn't have hated me that much, maybe I would have thought you how to keep it close for 8hours.." Fred said with a lopsided smile.
"This is your end!" Bryan stated and made a call...
"Xavier is here...come over with the NSA agents.." He said into the phone and my eyes widened in great shock...
No!!!
This can't happen!!!
"Boss run away now or never..." Kip whispered to me.
"How??..they would..." I was still talking when a bullet from Rose pierced into my shoulder deeply...
I groaned in pain as I stared at her in great shock.
Rose shot at me??
"That is for putting my mother through pain...!" She seethed and I grunted feeling so ashamed and degraded...
How did I turn into a pauper like this???
She walked closer to me and raised my head...
Before I could even see it coming, she gave me a heavy slap which set my cheek on fire...
I fell to the ground in pain from my shoulder and cheek.
The bullet was eating me deeply...
Just then, the siren filled the air...
"The NSA is here already!" I heard Bryan announced...
So at last...I'm down??
