When I opened my eyes I saw a beautiful sight in front of my eyes.

My Wife....

She was looking heavenly beautiful in her sleeping state. I never got the chance to look at her so closely. And I cursed that time when I rejected her.

If I wouldn't have rejected her then our life would be different and beautiful now. But I just ruined it because of my stupidity. My phone alarm buzzed and it disturbed her slumber and my thoughts too.

She blinked her eye's then made them wide looking at me. Suddenly her face became flashed into a red shade.

I got confused by her sudden change. In a blink of an eye, she got up in a jolt and scooted from my room making me more confused.

What happened to this girl suddenly? I also got up and went to freshen up.

After getting ready for the office I went out to the living room.

I saw her running from here to there in rush. Because today she woke up late. Must have a peaceful sleep with me. I was grinning by then thinking about ourselves cuddling with each other in the future.

"Kunwar Sa, have your breakfast. I'm leaving for the office. Sorry, I couldn't prepare anything in such a hurry, only tea and bread are available. Butter is also kept there. Serve yourself. I'm getting late. So I have to leave."

She said in a hurry while hanging her bag on her shoulder all ready to go.

"Why are you leaving so early and also without having your breakfast?" I asked her in confusion.

"Kunwar Sa, you're such a forgetful person. You have forgotten that every morning I go to visit the Temple for Pooja."

"Today I did not even realize when it was morning. I don't know how I slept for so long. Don't know what happened today?"

She was speaking to me but I was just looking at her. Her cute small nose her pink plumped lips and her dove shape deep eyes. Everything in her is beautiful.

"Bye See you later." I heard her saying that before shutting the door behind her.

I complete my breakfast without her and leave for my office.

Today again I came back home late. Because of tons of paperwork and meetings. When I stepped inside my house was dark. Not completely dark there were a few candle lights lighten up on the dining table.

I got confused by the sight in front of me. I walked ahead and stand there.

"Welcome Home, Kunwar Sa."

I heard her mesmerizing voice, I look here and there to find her, and finally, she came out of the kitchen holding a big smile on her face.

Her face was shining like the moon in the golden light of candles.

She was looking like a fairy in her white Anarkali suit. Her long hair was freely lying on her back or some on her shoulder. Today She groom herself a little by applying lipstick and kajal.

"What it's all?" I asked in a maze.

"It's for you, Kunwar Sa." She said while laughing nervously.

"I have forgiven you, Kunwar Sa." Her soft voice falls on my ears making me jump in joy. Without wasting any time I engulfed her in my arms crushing our rib bones. My sudden reaction must have made her shocked as she was standing like a statue. And I reluctantly let go of her by pulling myself away from her.

"You have finally forgiven me," I asked her holding her shoulder. I was still unsure about her decision so I again asked her to make my heart believe that she has truly forgiven us.

"Yeah." She confirmed with a laugh.

After that, I lift her and twirled her around making her giggle.

"Put me down, put me down, Kunwar Sa. My head is spinning." I put her down on her feet but hold her by her shoulders to give her support as her head was spinning.

"But I have conditions." Suddenly she spoke when she feel stable. But her words make me confused.

"Go ahead.". I granted her.

"Firstly, You will never leave me until I leave this world. Secondly, if something happened to me someday and I leave you in between, you will remember me in your prayers every time."

"What the hell is this?" I shouted at her. And it's made her startled.

"First thing is fine. I will be with you till my last breath, I will never leave you. But the second one. The second thing is completely meaningless. Why would anything happen to you?"

I said loudly. And she looked down.

I cupped her face into my palm and made her look into my eyes.

"Nothing can happen to you while I am there. Understand? I won't let anything happen to you."

"You are my responsibility. I had taken a promise by considering fire as a witness, I will be ahead of you in every difficulty. And I will keep my word till my death."

Two big big tears slipped down from her eye making her cheeks wet.

And making me shocked she hugged me wrapping her arms around my torso and keeping her head on my chest. I also wrapped one hand on her back and another one on her head.

Her tears were soaking my shirt. We stayed like this for some good moments. Having her in my arms feels so good that I can't describe this feeling in words.

We pulled away and she looked at me making an innocent face.

"Sorry, I wet your shirt." I laugh at her words.

"You don't have to bother about my shirt, anyway it's already gotten dirty by sweats."

"Listen," I called her and she looked at me.

"Don't dare to bring such ridiculous inauspicious things into your mind next time. Too far to speak up."

Raising my right hand in the air in a slapping position I said."And if you think so then I'll slap you hard."

And she shut her eyes tightly in fear thinking that I'm going to slap her. Idiot!!! But a cute one.

"Open your eyes. I'm not gonna beat you. I'm just giving a warning."

Pointing my finger at her I told her in a serious tone. And she nodded.

"You go and take a warm bath. Then we'll have dinner together."

She said with a wide smile. Her eyes and her smile is the most beautiful thing about her. Which makes me fall for her every day, every minute, and every second.

I ran towards my room to get freshen up quickly. I heard her laughing from behind seeing me running like this.

Yes, I'm behaving like a crazy lovesick puppy.

I came to the dining table after freshening up. And found her waiting for me in the dining area. Seeing me she pass a smile at me. I walked ahead and sat on my chair next to her.

She arranged a candlelight dinner for us at home. And it's pretty good. Soft music was playing on her phone and mouth-watering delicious foods were lying on the table with coke. A bunch of roses in a vase and fragrance candles make the environment most romantic.

A girl can organize such an amazing candlelight dinner, I have never thought about that! She makes me amazed with her act.

I'm impressed.

After dinner, I told her I'll help her with cleaning. She denied but I didn't listen to her. It's our home so we should work together.

Only one person will not do all the work. Yes, I remembered I had told her to do the whole household work alone. But now everything has changed between us so I should help her with household chores and work.

"Naina, did you tell anyone that you have....." She didn't let me finish my words and replied.

"Everyone knows."

"About this candlelight dinner too?" I asked her with a wide eye but thank God she shake her head left to right.

"Thanks for the wonderful candle lights dinner, my dear wife." Hearing that she looked at me with a smile.

"It's my pleasure dear Hubby." Placing her right hand on her chest she bent down a little while saying that. Making me laugh.

"By the way you are looking beautiful." I saw her cheeks flash in the red shade and she was looking down shyly.

I walked near her and placed my forefinger under her chin and made her look into my eyes. We were just a few inches away from each other.

"You look more beautiful when you blush like this. And I loved that." Her full face turned red color and she closed her eyes. Her deep black eyes hide under her big beautiful lashes.

"Open your eyes. Don't hide them under your beautiful lashes." She lifts her gaze and looks right into my eyes.

"Your eyes are so beautiful. Like the night sky filled with stars. I think I have been captivated by your eyes." Hearing me, she hides her face with her palms. She became cherry red due to shyness. I hold her hands and moved them off her face. She was still looking down.

My eyes fall on her beautiful plumped lips which are covered in cherry red color lipstick. She parted her lips a little like she was inviting me to taste those lips.

Wild thoughts of mine. She can never think like this. She is a pure innocent soul. I was craving to taste those lips but I don't wanna go in a rush. So I just pecked her forehead and I saw two tears roll down her eyes. So I wept them off.

"You cry a lot." She looked at me with her tear-filled eyes.

"It's tears of joy." Saying that she hugged me tightly as if she loses her grip I'll go away leaving her alone.

I don't know how is she feeling now but I can feel her pain. She must be dreamed about us together living a love-filled life after marriage. And when she finally saw a glimpse of love in our life she couldn't control her tears.

"Let's go to sleep now." Pulling away from each other I told her and she nodded.

"Where do you intend to sleep?" I asked her as she had told me before she wants some time.

She thinks for some time tapping her forefinger on the corner of her lips sign of thinking.

"I think I should sleep in my room. Because when I sleep in your room, I can't get up early and I get late for the office." I narrowed my eyes at her.

"But I sleep very well when you are with me. So I think you should sleep with me in my room."

Pulling her near me I throw her on my shoulder and walked toward my room. And she was laughing wholeheartedly.

I placed her on her side and covered her with the sheet. After adjusting the AC temperature I also lay down on my side. I found her closing her eyes with a tiny smile on her face.

I pecked her forehead once more wishing her good night and also fall asleep.

'Tonight was the happiest and most beautiful night of my life.

This night is spent with beautiful sails and feelings. With my Naina.'
