Chapter 48: Chapter 48
SAMEER PRATAP SINGH
Today I am going to share my room with Naina for the first time. She was in my room on our wedding night but not with me. Then the situation was different and my feelings were too.
(Sighed)
I used to think then that I love Rasiya.
But now I wonder did I really loved Rasiya ever or if it was just an affection.
I used to think before that I can't even think of living without her.
But now that I have broken up with her, I don't think I'm hurt even a little bit. She is such a wicked girl, I could not even imagine in my worst dreams that she can be like this. She's Nikhil Raichand's spy? And I didn't even know about it.
I never did her background check. After being in a relationship for three years I had never doubted her. How cunning she is. If Ragini doesn't come and told me the whole truth, then I wouldn't have come to know about her true face.
She was just using me for her meanness. And I come to know about this right after the party night. The next day when I was in my cabin Ragini came to me and narrate Rasiya's dirty tactics to me with solid proof. How she works for Nikhil behind me. She was with me in these years only for my money.
I told her I'll reward her for her loyalty. And told her not to worry, I won't take her name in front of Rasiya. She's safe.
I called out for Rasiya and she immediately came to my office. She thought I called her to patch up with her. Huhh!!
FLASHBACK.....
"Sameer, you called out for me?" Entering inside she asked immediately.
"Hmm, have a sit." She grabs one chair and settles herself.
"What's the matter, Sam? You're looking off today. Has something happened?"
"You know me well, Rasiya. How do you know that something is bothering me?" I asked to keep acting like her.
"No one can understand you more than me. You know how much I love you." I laughed bitterly.
"Really? Are you sure about it?" I asked raising my left brow in a serious tone.
"What do you mean by that?" She asked being confused.
"Stop your acting Rasiya. Your true face has come out. I know your real intentions. So there's no need to keep acting in front of me." I yelled at her.
"What're you saying all this? What true face? What intentions?" Still, she will not stop acting. How long does she want to act?
"Ohh, c'mon now please stop all this nonsense. I know your work for Nikhil Raichand. And why're you in a relationship with me? Money right? You're after me only for my money. Why Rasiya? Why? Why you did do this to me? What did I do to you that you play with my heart and my feelings?"
I screamed at her and there she was seating like a rock.
Leaving her seat she stood up and came near me. But I stopped her showing my palm.
"You're mistaking, Sameer. Whatever you're saying is not true. Who told you these? Nikhil?"
"It's none of your concern," I said gritting my teeth in rage. My blood is boiling.
"How does that not my concern? You're accusing me of something I haven't committed. Who on the earth tells you about this? Just tell me the name I'll kill that person." She said angrily. And I wanted to smack her head with the wall. How long she's going to keep making me a fool?
"Whoever has said it, has told the truth. And I didn't believe that person's words until that person showed me the proof. He has proof against you. How can you not accept it?" I shouted at her at the top of my lungs.
"When I haven't done anything like this, then what should I accept?" She said on the verge of crying.
"I'm not going to believe you this time. You have made me fool many times. You have taken advantage of my feelings. There's no more discussion. I called you to notify you that from now on there's no relationship between us. And there's no place for you in my company. You're fired. And I'll make sure that you never get any job in India." I said fuming in anger. I'll make sure my every word comes true.
"Sameer, you can't do this with me. You have to listen to me." She began to panic.
"I don't want to hear anything from you. Just get lost. I don't want to see your face ever. Guards, take her away from my sight." Two guards came inside to take her from there. But she wasn't ready to go out.
"Rasiya, go with them otherwise the consequence will be worse. It's better to leave now." I said angrily.
"Sameer, you're doing wrong. You need to know what's true. Please listen to me for the last time."
She begged but I turned to the other side.
"Whatever you say will only lie. Neither I'm going to believe you, nor your words. You can't make me a fool anymore." I said my last words to her.
"Guards, take her away from here. If she doesn't go, then drag her out. And make sure she doesn't come in again." They drag her away from my office.
FLASHBACK END
The girl for whom I have treated my flower-like wife worse than a dog. Today the same girl is planning to ruin me behind my back. How stupid I'm.
Pulling my hair I screamed but gritted my teeth so that the sound doesn't go outside.
After getting married, she had come to spend life with me, leaving everything behind. and how I treat her, insulted her. I even raise my finger at her character. When she's pure as a flower.
Tears made their way through the cheeks and fall down.
I used to think she was not suitable for me. But now I realized I'm not suitable for her. She deserves the best. I'm not the best.
I closed my eyes and more tears fall down. My heart was aching so badly and also my head. I was feeling like it'll blast at any time.
"Will she forgive me? I must apologize."
I wipe my tears harshly with the back of my palm.
There's one thing, I don't want to lose her. I want her in my life.
What I'm even saying? Am I falling for her? I'm not sure about my feeling. I need to find out.
When I woke up in the morning I found my other side of the bed empty. She always wakes up early for morning Pooja. I sat on my bed leaning on the headboard while checking my notifications and Mails on my laptop.
When I was busy on my laptop she entered.
"You're still in bed. You're not going to the office today?"
Placing her hands on her waist she asked me raising her left eyebrow. When she gets angry she looks more beautiful. I grinned like a fool looking at her.
"No, I have decided that we'll go for an outing today."
I shared my plan with her with a smile. But she again gave me a cold shoulder.
"Outing? With full family? I'm not going. You go with others. I'm fine here." Saying that she folds her hands.
I shake my head seeing her stubbornness. She doesn't have any idea how much stubborn I am. Now I'll show her.
"You'll not go?" I again asked her to give me her last chance.
And she shakes her head right to left as a sign.
"Okey, so you don't want to join us," I told her normally.
"Then, I will carry you on my shoulders, and that too in front of everyone. I don't have any problem. Now it's up to you, Do you want to join us willingly or should I take you along us forcibly." I asked her in a smug tone.
"Why're you doing this?" She said in a defeated tone.
"Cause I want to spend time with you. We had gone for an outing many times but then you weren't with us. So now I want to go on an outing with my full family."
Without saying anything she was just looking at me with an emotionless face."Would you say this even when you didn't know me?"
Her question took me off guard.
"Well, leave it. I also got into an argument with you in the morning. You want to go, right? Okay, I'll go. Just let me know the time. I'll be ready on time."
She said and gave me a small smile. But a fake one. I can sense a hint of sadness in her voice.
"Get fresh, and come for breakfast. Everyone is waiting for you."
Saying that she hurriedly left my room.
After freshening up I went downstairs and found them all present at the dining table.
"Good Morning everyone." I greet all of them. And they greet me back except for Naina. Why she is so off today? Something is wrong with her.
"Pitaji, I was thinking that why don't we go for an outing somewhere today?"
Pitaji looked at Maa sa and she looked at Bhabi Sa. And Bhabi Sa looked at Naina. What the hell is happening with all of them? Why they all are behaving weirdly?
I saw Naina shrug her shoulder. Bhabi Sa looked at me and said.
"I think we should go shopping. Just look at Naina, how old her clothes have become. The one she brought from the maternal home she is still wearing." Madhumeeka Sister-in-law said looking at Naina. And she's right.
"Why have you become so stingy Devar Sa that you did not even buy two pairs of clothes for your own wife?" Bhabi sa scolded me.
I'm dead. I'm dead. What should I answer now?
"Sorry, Bhabi sa. I was so busy that there was no time to take her to the shopping."
"Sameer, you have become so busy that in six months you could not take out an hour to take her shopping. Really?" Maa Sa scold me very angrily.
"Maa Sa. He's not at fault. I was the one who refused to go shopping. As you know I don't like to do shopping."
Naina takes my side and save me from more scolding.
"You're the one who is spoiling him. Learn to hold the string tight. Don't let loose it otherwise one day you'll definitely lose your husband for sure." Suddenly Bhai sa spoke to Naina but after that shoot me a glare.
"Vikram." Pitaji takes his name in a warning way.
"Pitaji, don't give me that look. You should educate your son that he must take care of his wife." Saying that Bhai Sa again started having his meal.
"Now close this matter here. And be ready on time. We'll leave at 11 o'clock. And we'll have lunch together in a restaurant. Okay? I hope no one has any objections to my decision."
Pitaji declared and all start having their breakfast.
Now we are present in the shopping mall. Bhai Sa and Pitaji went to do their shopping and here I'm with the ladies.
"Naina, now you stay in Delhi. So your ghagra choli doesn't suitable for city life. You should try new outfits. Let me choose some for you." Bhabi sa said and Naina nodded.
"How about shirts and plazo? You can wear them at home. It's very comfortable. What you say Maa Ji Sa?" Bhabi sa asked Maa sa for her suggestion.
"Yeah, you're right. You choose some for her and I'll choose some long dresses for her that she can wear for outings or any occasions." Maa sa
They're so happy. But not Naina. When they asked for her advice she just says what they choose it's okay for her. She's so simple.
A red Anarkali caught my attention and was displayed on the doll. So I went there and imagine Naina wearing this.
She looks beautiful in red. How gorgeous she was looking that night at the party. Just like a fairy.
I asked the salesgirl to take off the dress for me. She gave it to me and I went to Naina with that dress.
"Naina." She was busy with Maa Sa and Bhabi Sa. When I called her both the ladies also looked at me.
"I like this dress for you. You look more beautiful in the red dress." I said smiling widely.
When I said those words her face flashed red not in anger but she was blushing. And I love that shade on her cheeks. Did I say I love her blushing?
What is happening to me? Do I love her? I don't know if I love her or not but I like her. Yes, I like her.
This time I will not take a hasty decision. I want to feel these new feelings between us. I had never felt this type of feeling before. When Rasiya and I were together, I never felt like this.
"Aww! Look Madhu, my son has lovingly brought a dress for his wife."
While elbowing Bhabi Sa Maa sa told her in an excited tone.
"Go, try this dress. We also want to see how beautiful you look in the red dress."
Bhabi Sa winked at her and Naina looked down feeling shy. She ran towards the trial room holding the dress in her hands.
"Now tell me, have we made any mistake by getting you married together?"
Out of the blue Maa Sa asked me an unexpected question. Bhabi Sa was also looking at me eagerly waiting for my answer.
"No." I gave them a big smile but a genuine one while scratching the back of my neck.
"Rather I think I am lucky to have got a wife like Naina."
I look down while smiling.
"Aww! Look, Maa Ji Sa how is your son blushing." Bhabi Sa giggled.
"I am very happy to know this Beta. She's very as precious as a diamond.
Kohinoor. Such a girl is found only by the lucky ones." Maa Sa patted my back. I agree with Maa Sa. And I believe that I'm one of those lucky ones.
"Here she's, your houri fairy." Bhabi Sa's voice makes me look at the trial room and there she is standing in red Anarkali.
She was looking more than beautiful from that day. I was lost in her beauty. Bhabi Sa was right. She wasn't looking less than a houri fairy.
"Beautiful." That word escaped from my lips without my knowledge.
"Ahem. Ahem." Maa Sa and Bhabi Sa's voices made me realize that we are in a public place not alone.
After 3 hours of long shopping sessions, we are finally in the restaurant for lunch.
"Today the whole family is having lunch together for the first time. I'm so happy today." Maa Sa looked at us with tear-filled eyes. Happy tears.
"Mayura, we will come to visit them more like this. And they will also come to visit us in Udaipur. Will you be right?"
Pitaji asked looking at me and Naina.
"Yes, of course," I assured them with a smile.
Suddenly my phone buzzed I pulled it out from my pocket and found Puneet calling me.
"Hello!!"
"Sameer. I'm sorry bro for disturbing you like this. Cause here has been occurred a big blunder. Rasiya stole all the data of our company while going. You have to be here as soon as possible. Otherwise, everything will be ruined."
"I'm coming." Saying that I dismissed the call.
Rasiya, I made a big mistake by letting you go so easily. But not this time. If this time I didn't send you behind the bars then my name is not Sameer Pratap Singh.
