"Why're you wearing a saari?" Suddenly he asked me.

"Why're you asking this? Am I looking grotty?" I quickly asked him instead of answering him.

"No, no. It's not like that. I want to say that you're......" He paused.

"I'm what?" I asked him eagerly waiting for him to complete his sentence.

"You are looking way too gorgeous. Now I'm afraid to take you there. What if someone takes you away? Then your husband will kill me." He said and I laugh.

"You two are the same. You both are mad. The same thing has been said by Sameera a while back." I told him.

"Don't mention her name in front of me. And don't compare her with me. I'm way much better than her. She's a psycho." He said in an irritated voice.

I suppressed my laugh. These two antique items are made for each other. I'm sure.

"Mark my word today you're gonna kill others by your charm. And our Sameer is gonna head over for you. And I'm sure he'll be very jealous of seeing us together. Ohh! It will be sightable. I can't wait for more to watch his expression." He said with glee and chuckled.

"I want it also. I want to make him feel the same as he always makes me feel. We need to give him a dose of his own medicine. Then he'll understand how I feel when I saw them together. Huhh!" I said feeling hurt from inside.

"I'm with you in this. Let's make him jealous. He he he." Showing his shining teeth he said while grinning.

"Well, thanks for your compliment. Now I rest assured that I'm not looking bad at least." I chuckled.

"You don't know how nervous I was about choosing the outfit for the party. I have never attended such parties before. So I don't have any idea how are these parties, what do I have to wear? I was totally clueless."

"Then I have an idea that I can wear a saari. It represents our tradition. But I was also nervous as well thinking about what if people make fun of me. And I'll make you down." I said looking down.

"You silly girl. You think too much. Hear me, you're looking like, a fairy just fall from heaven. Do you get my word? Now chill." His words brought a smile to my face.

"Thanks for your compliment." I thanked him with a genuine smile. And he just give me a nod.

We reached there within 30 minutes. We both came out and headed towards their place. Their house was so lavish and beautiful.

We both entered inside. I was just looking everywhere like a child. I have never attended a party in the city. It's my first time. So I'm nervous.

"Hello! Beautiful. " A sound made me startled and I look back there I found Vansh standing with a killing smile.

"Sorry! I didn't mean to scare you." He said making a sorry face.

"It's okay. I was just lost in my thoughts." I said with a smile.

"Ohh! By the way, you are looking hot and gorgeous, Missy. " His compliment made me a little uncomfortable. As I have never gotten to hear such a compliment before.

"Thank you," I said.

"Umm. You're together." He said looking at me and Puneet bhai with a surprised look.

"Yes, we're together. I'm dating this beautiful lady. So now we're girlfriend and boyfriend. I'm no more single." He said with a smile wrapping his hand around my shoulder in a protective way.

Vansh gave me a shocked look. What made me laugh? I suppress my laughter so that he doesn't get suspicious of us.

"Excuse me." Puneet sir drag me with him.

"What was that?" I asked him laughing.

"I don't want anyone to flirt with my sister-in-law." He said protectively.

"Ohh!!" I exclaimed in an understanding way and then laugh a little.

"Protective Bro," I mumbled.

We both Congratulate Mr. Avilash Mehta and his fiancee and gave them a gift box with a bouquet. Puneet sir have bought it.

My eyes were searching for one particular person. My dearest husband. And there he was sitting near the bar with his Siya. She was just literally throwing herself at him. Clinging to him.

"Don't look over there. It'll only hurt you." I heard brother Puneet's voice.

"I have come here after preparing myself to witness such scenes. As I knew that I would have to witness something like that. Don't worry I'm used to it." I said trying hard not to break in front of him.

I told him, I have gotten used to seeing them together.

I don't mind. But when I see them close to each other, my heart breaks a thousand times.

I again look at his side and this time his eye's met mine. For some good moment, our eyes were locked. But then he averts his gaze and never looks at my sight.

Rasiya was wearing a very exposed dress.

Puneet bhai and I were talking about a random topic. And most of the people were dancing on the floor. We were not interested in that so we both kept tattling.

Puneet bhai was trying to lift my mood with his bad jokes. Suddenly a phone call came and he went somewhere to attend to the call. As there was the loud sound of the music.

And that time Vansh appeared in my sight.

"So you don't like to dance?" He asked me with a smile.

"No." I gave him a small reply.

"Are you seriously dating Puneet?" Hesitantly he asked me. I can see the nervousness in his eyes.

"No. He was just kidding. " I said with a small smile. And I heard him release a relieved breath.

I glance at him suspiciously and at that moment Puneet bhai came back.

Vansh excused and went away.

"What he was doing here?" He asked raising his left eyebrow.

"He had come to ask about our relationship. Are we really dating or not? " I told him chuckling.

"And what did you answer?" He asked.

"I told him the truth," I said simply.

"Idiot." He slapped his forehead and mumbled that.

"Leave it. I have to go to the washroom. Do you know where it is?" I asked him.

"How would I know? Wait, let me ask Avilash."

He gets up to go.

After asking him he told me to go upstairs and take a turn to the left side and go to the second room.

"Are you sure you can go there alone?" He asked me in a concerned-filled tone.

"Yes yes. I'm not a child bhai." Saying that I went where he had told me to go. When I opened the door, I saw something that I should not have seen. My heart skips a beat. I could not believe my own eyes. What I'm witnessing.

Kunwar Sa and Rasiya were kissing each other. I had never seen them like this. I know they love each other but it hurts. It hurts like hell seeing them so close to each other.

I thought, now Kunwar sa does not love Rasiya as before. I thought, he has feelings for me. But now I realized how wrong I was. He still loves her. My all efforts have gone in vain.

Today I have understood one thing he will never love me. He only loves her and will always. He can never be mine.

My eyes filled with unshaded tears ready to fall at any time. My whole body was shaking very badly. And I heard something shatter. It was my heart that shattered into pieces. I was feeling like my heart was bleeding.

I closed the door before he saw me. They were so engrossed in kissing each other that they didn't even realize when I entered and when I come out.

It's said that when an earthquake occurs, a special sound can be heard. I don't know if it's true. I only know, that the moment when I saw them in that posture my whole world fell apart.

I was angry but more than that I was hurt. It was painful as if my heart was being squeezed, wrung, and torn to pieces.

Being together for seven months, I always thought that I would be greeting him good morning each morning and good night each night. Till the end of the time and those good affections that we once had are being ruinously questioned.

How unfortunate can a person be to be hit with such devastation?
