Location: Kate's house
"Mum, I'm going out"
Jake said heading to the door
He opened it and immediately he saw Jeffrey standing in front of the door reading to push the door bell
Jeffrey saw the surprised look on his face, and also did the same. He is looking at his son,the son which he abandoned for so many years
"Dad?.......I mean Mr Maxwell"
He muttered
"What are you doing here?"
"My son!"
Jeffrey muttered sending a shiver to his spine
"Son?"
He swallowed hard, trying to figure out whether this is real or not
First time in his life, his Dad called him son without groaning or hesitating,he said it freely
Before Jake could speak, Jeffrey interrupted
"I'm so sorry"
Jake stared at him confusedly
"Sorry? For what?"
"For everything, for not being a good father for you, for not being there for you when you were growing up,for insulting you, for beseeching you,for being a monster to you"
He said
"Dad,I....
"Please,find it in your heart to forgive me, My son"
They both stared at each other for a while, that was when Jeffrey realised that truly Jake has his face, they looked exactly the same,if only he saw that years back
"Dad!!! Is this really you? Or am I just dreaming again"
Jeffrey smiled and hugged him passionately
"This is me, your father, I'm sorry my son"
"Finally Dad, you are back to your senses"
He said not minding what he said
"I know....
"Mom will never believe this"
He said after releasing the hug
"Where is she?"
He whispered
"She is in the kitchen"
"Okay,I need to see her..... I'll see you later my son"
"Okay"
Jake smiled and Jeffrey headed to the kitchen

"Jake,I heard noises,who is at the door?"
Kate asked doing the dishes
She didn't quite know the Jeffrey was behind her, she concentrate more on the dishes she was doing
"Hey Kate"
Jeffrey said softly,but Kate definitely heard it
Immediately, she turned around and saw Jeffrey in her house, this has never happen before
"Jeffrey?"
She muttered
"What are you doing here?, and how did you even get in?
"My son let me in"
He said causing a shock to Kate
"Son? Jake? You are.....
"Can I talk to you?"
He interrupted
"Um.... I'm busy"
She said going back to the dishes, this time she did it to avoid his gaze
"I'm sorry"
He said loud enough for Kate to hear
She turned around quickly and stared at him, she doesn't know what's happening anymore
"Sorry?"
"Yeah, I'm sorry Kate for underestimating you, I'm sorry about everything"
She stared at her controlling her tears, immediately she turned around to avoid his gaze again
"How on earth did you finally know the truth?"
She asked
"Um.... Justin, apparently years back there was a tiny camera installed in my room that day"
"Oh.... okay"
She said concentrating on the dishes
"The truth is when that incident happen,I was thinking of going back to you to apologize but my family..... you know they were against our marriage before,they didn't wanted us to be together,they were the one who told me to divorce. I was so foolish then,I sheepishly followed their advice, maybe because we only got married for a little while, so I didn't know the meaning of marriage. After I divorced you,I wasn't myself anymore, I engaged in drinking, smoking....I ...I felt like I made a mistake,a mistake that ruined my life, I'm sorry Kate, I was stupid then"
She turned around immediately
"No.... you weren't stupid, you were just confused"
He moved a step closer to her
"But it's still my fault Kate....... and you are right I was just confused,I choose to listen to my guts not my heart....if you haven't heard this,I guess I will say it.....I tried to get married again but none of the women were as perfect as you, none of them was a good mother,none of them was a good wife"
He paused hoping to hear her speak but she didn't
"If you haven't heard this also,I guess I can tell you...... years back I did a DNA test to see whether Jake was my son"
He said
Kate turned around immediately, blinking her eyes nervously
"The results came out positive, it's came out that Jake was my real son"
"Then why didn't you believe it,why did you ignore it"
"I thought at first it was fake because I wasn't the one who did it, and also like I said,my family was messing with my head, everything was just confusing,I tried to look for you, and then I realised that you weren't in the same country I was in years back, and now you came back just to see your daughter"
He added and went on his knees
"I'm sorry Kate, I'm really sorry"
He said staring at the floor
He closed his eyes a bit, and waited for her to speak,but all he heard was her sobbing
He looked up and saw her crying
"Do you know how long I have been waiting for you to come back to your senses,I waited eighteen years for this,I had to raise our son alone, do you know......
She was interrupted by a hug received from Jeffrey
"It's okay,I had to raise our daughter alone, and she cried everyday because she was missing you,my smile faded away because I missed you,I tried to move on,but if I move on any further,I will just be living a fake life, thank you for waiting for me."
He hugged her tightly but Kate didn't respond
Before Jeffrey knew it, Kate wrapped her arms around him, crying profusely on his broad chest

"Hm.... finally"
Justin wrapped his arms around Jenny's waist
"We are together"
She smiled
"I can't believe this is happening"
"Believe it baby, I told you I will fix this,now that your father has officially approved to this,I want to ask you a question"
"What is it?"
She asked curiously
"Will you marry me?"
He whispered
Jenny blushed and hid her face
"I thought you will never ask...
"So...is that a yes or.....
"Yes"
She said after a giggle
"Yay"
Justin reached in for her lips and tasted the tasty norishment of her lips. He didn't mind people staring,he is finally with his beloved
Could this day get any better, he thought
Their passionate kiss was interrupted by a phone call, Justin phone vibrated in his back pocket
He hesitated a little before reaching in for his phone,he picked it up and checked the caller ID
It was Jessica....
Immediately he swiped the call and placed it in his ear
"Hey sis"
He said still cuddling Jenny
"Justin where are you?"
She yelled
"Relax, I'm with Jenny, you won't believe what I just did"
"I know, you finally settled the differences between the two families, and now you can be with Jenny"
"Wow, how on earth did you know that?"
"Well, Jake called me and told me everything"
"Of course he did,that dude ruined surprises"
He muttered
"Justin, we have a problem?"
"Ughhh, please don't say that, I'm in a good mood today"
"Justin listen to me, it's about Dad"
"What about him?"
"This morning,he fell unconscious"
"What? Is he okay?"
He yelled and Jenny stared at him
"I don't know Justin,I took him immediately to the hospital, and the doctor said that he has been battling with cancer for the past three years....
"What!! Cancer,dad didn't tell me any of this"
"Me neither,I just figured it out,the doctor said that dad has been using drugs and he can't continue anymore,he needs a bone marrow transplant immediately"
"Oh my God"
"Okay,is Jenny's blood group O+"
"Um....hold on"
He stared at Jenny
"Jenny, please tell me your blood group is O+"
"Um...no, what's wrong?"
Justin groaned and reached back to the call
"Which hospital?"
He asked
"City Hospital, the general one, the one not far away from our house"
"Oh,that will take a long drive, okay I'll be there"
"Okay, please hurry Justin"
He ended the call and ran to his car
"Justin!!"
Jenny called
He stopped and turned around
"Jenny, I'll right back, just stay here"
"No, something is wrong,let me go with you"
"Jenny....
"Justin, I'm not staying here,let me go with you"
She said and Justin nodded
Immediately they both entered the car and zoomed off to the hospital

Three hours later
They finally got to the hospital, it's would have take more than three hours but due to the speed Justin used,they got there quickly
They both hopped out of the car, and ran into the hospital
Justin asked the nurse for his father's ward room, and they were told that he was in a VIP room
They ran to the room and immediately Justin sighted Jessica pacing
"Jessica"
He called
She turned around immediately and smiled
"Oh thank God you are here"
She said smiling
"Is dad okay?"
He asked curiously
"Well,he is okay"
She said
"Okay,is he in there?"
Jenny asked
"Yes he is"
Jessica answered
"Okay,let me see him"
He walked towards the room but Jessica stopped him
"No, don't go in there,he is sound asleep,the doctor said we should give him some space"
"Okay....okay...But, is he really okay?"
He asked worriedly
"Justin, relax, everything is fine now"
She smiled
"What do you mean?"
He arched
"I mean he is okay now,he is cured"
"Cured? I thought you said he needs a bone marrow transplantation immediately"
Jenny asked
"Yeah, that's what the doctor said, but luckily I got a O+ patient"
"Really?"
"Yes,if it's wasn't for him, everything would have been a disaster"
Jessica said and both Justin and Jenny arched
"Him?"
Justin asked
"That's right"
"Is it my Dad?"
Jenny asked
"I wish it's your Dad,but it's not him,he is someone else"
"Okay,who is it?"
Justin half yelled
"Well, before I say it, please don't get mad,he saved our father's life"
She said nervously
"Jessica,tell me who the person is,so that I can appreciate....
"Okay, it's.....
"Hey bro"
A voice interrupted
Immediately,the person came out dramatically from a room
"Chris!!!"
Justin muttered
"Hey Justin"
He said softly
"Chris?"
Jenny stared at him suprisingly
He has really changed well,he looks older, even more good looking and his chin has grown a beard
Justin stared at him with hatred,he remembered what he did,he remembered how he kidnapped Jenny and threatened him. He won't let him get away with it
"You rascal,I will make sure I murder you"
Justin walked towards him and tightly grabbed his shirt
