Justin POV

I barge in my room in anger meeting Stephen on a chair studying.

Well he is not my roommate, he just came here to do my homework

I don't even have time to talk to him, I have a lot of things on my mind right now

I just kept pacing thinking of what to do.

"Whoa, bro calms down, what's the matter, did you find Jenny? did you talk to her? what did she say?"

he asked randomly

"Will you stop with questions, I can't think straight"

I yelled

"Okay, sorry, but I still need answers to my questions"

"I met Jenny in the room, and I talked to her"

"Okay, what happened, did she tell you why she hate you"

"Yes, she did"

"Okay, why are you so angry? what did she say?"

"She said the reason why she hates me is because of my father"

I clenched my fist in anger

"Your father? how is he involved in this"

"I don't know Stephen, that's why am so confused, what did my father do to her, did he perhaps offend her, or her family"

I sat down angrily on my bed and dipping my hands into my hair

"Relax Justin, all you have to do is just ask your father the same question

I thought for a while

"I need to tell Jessica about this"

I picked up my phone, dialled her number and she picked at the first ring

"Hey Justin, what's up," she said

"Jessica we have a serious problem"

"Really? what happened, why do you sound so hard"

she said it in a serious tone

"I went to talk to Jenny"

"Ok, what happened?"

"She told me that the reason why she hates me is because of what dad did to her"

"What!, did dad perhaps know her somewhere?"

"That's the same question I asked myself, I'm so confused right now"

"Relax Justin, am also confused about this, there are lots of questions that need to be answered"

"Look I don't know what to do right now," I said

"Okay, why don't you just call Dad and ask him the question"

"That's was what I was thinking, so I want you to do it"

"Justin you can't need my help for everything, look.... just call dad and maybe he will explain things to you"

I sighed exasperatedly

"Alright, I will call him"

"Awesome, whatever he says, just accept it okay"

"Alright sis, I'll get back to you later"

"Ok Justin bye"

I ended the call and went straight to my dad contact, maybe it was high time I had called him now

He picked at the third ring

" Hello father"

"Hello son, it's indeed a surprise to see you calling me

" Yeah I know"

I don't mainly call my dad, only on important occasions as I need money, I guess that is why he is really surprised

"How is your sister?"

," She's a good father. Dad, I need to ask you a question and I want an honest answer"

"Okay, can we make it quick, I'll be having a meeting in a few minutes"

"Dad, do you perhaps know who Jeffrey Maxwell is?

After the question, there was silence, was dad thinking of what to say or...

"Hello, dad are you there?

"I am looking for Jeffrey Maxwell, the owner of this room"

"I am Hank, his best friend"

Then before he wanted to turn back, he has forgotten that Catherine was behind, he accidentally bumped into her and they both landed on the bed, Hank on top of her

And then Hank entered the room at the wrong time

He couldn't believe his eyes, his best friend was trying to rape his girlfriend.

Hank sighted at Jeffery and saw the angry look on his face, he quickly stood up from Catherine

"Jeffrey, it's not what it looks like"

Jeffrey remained speechless, he knew what he saw.

"I can't believe you Hank, my best friend trying to rape my girlfriend"

"What!, I would never try......

"Enough, I know what I saw, and you were forcing yourself on her"

"Jeffrey you are mistaken"

"Mistaken?" he didn't even listen to whatever he has to say, he just started hitting him on his face

"Jeffrey?"Catherine called

"Jeffrey stop, you might kill him"

"Keep quiet you" he yelled to her, but she had no choice but to remain silent

"Jeffrey stop, "Hank said and release himself from his bondage

"You disgust me, Hank, I regretted the day I because friends with you, I trusted you"

"Jeffrey just listen to me"

"I don't want to hear it" he yelled

"Just leave and never show your face here ever again, I despise you"

"Listen to me?"

Jeffrey dragged him by the shirt and threw him out of his base

Jeffrey is more dominant and powerful than Hank, he is a military man.

End of retrospect (flashback)...

"And then I realized that he became a successful military man, and he still married that lady, and after four years, I heard that they divorced for some reason"

Divorced?

So that's why Jenny hate so much, I think my dad is the reason why her parent got divorced

"But Dad, you said both of you didn't share the same woman, did you perhaps have feelings for her or something"

"Not, I just found her attractive, that's all"

" Alright dad"

" Why did you ask me that question"

"I was just curious"

"Alright, take care, my son"

" Alright bye"

I ended the call and threw my phone on the bed angrily

Stephen heard about it, cause my phone was on the speaker

"Am sorry Justin"

"I need to rest for a bit"

"Alright"

I laid down heavily on my bed and closed my eyes immediately hoping to get some sleep
