Chapter 61: Chapter 61

Hazel,

Mom's nervously stepped back slightly and mumbled in a trembling voice, while trying to close the door hurriedly, "Why are you here? What do you want from me now? I have nothing for you."

Armaros again flashed his devilish smirk and instantly, his fangs started peeping from both sides of his dark lips. He entered inside mom's house, forcefully and replied in his familiar husky yet charming voice, "Who told you that you have nothing for me, my love? You have a very precious thing for me. That little angel. I want that one."

Without even giving mom any time to react, he reached near the bed at the speed of the wind and picked me up from the bed. Mom instantly ran towards the bed, while shouting in fear, "No-no-no. Please don't touch my daughter. You can ask me anything you want. You can even take my life. But spare my daughter."

He grinned, then sparing a glance at mom, he replied, "I am not interested in a mere human, love. Sorry to disappoint you. But hell needs another angel. It will make us strong. So, thanks to you and our great Ammenediel."

Then he started walking towards the door. But before he could get out, mom caught his hand while dragging his muscular hand, she was pleading again and again, "Please kill me but spare my daughter. Please." He pushed mom's slender body with his elbow and started walking again. Mom fell to the ground instantly but she still didn't stop fighting. She caught Armaros's one leg and continued her pleading. Tears were rolling down from her eyes.

Armaros replied in his mischievous tone, "Why are you crying, love? Your daughter is going to serve the great Lucifer, king of hell. You should be happy." Then with a swift motion of his fingers, he created a red flame, and instantly it hit my mom. Mom threw far away from him and collided with the dining table made of glass. The glass table fell on mom and broke into pieces, scattering glasses in the whole room. Mom's whole body started bleeding. She couldn't manage to get up. Her whole body got injured badly.

He opened his huge grey wings and was about to fly when suddenly, I could hear a loud thud. Instantly, mom looked at the main door while weeping her tears with her hands. It was none other than Rebeca.

The moment Rebeca entered inside, she was already prepared to attack Armaros as if she already knew there was someone else inside the room. Entering inside, she immediately threw a blue ball of energy, collecting her all energy towards Armaros. It hit Armaros' chest and instantly his strange-looking black shirt caught in the blue flame of fire and his bare chest peeping through the unbuttoned chest started burning. I was in his arms but surprisingly that blue flame didn't affect me at all. I was still asleep, while wrapped in a pink towel. When Armaros was busy fighting off the fire with his one hand. Rebeca attacked him with a speed like thunder and snatching me from his one hand, reached to mom. Mom was still lying on the ground, covered with blood. Her light pink dress turned into deep red in blood. She was not in the state of walking or sitting even.

Reaching her, Rebeca started to do some moments while using her other freehand. She was holding me firmly with her other hand. I felt like seeing Rebeca, Mom sighed in relief. Without even thinking about her condition, she mumbled in her low weak voice, "Rebeca, save my Hazel. Please save my daughter. You- you better run. Run, taking her with you."

"Don't worry. You will be alright, Rhea. Just give me a minute. Don't think like this at all," Rebeca assured mom. Tears were rolling down from Mom's eyes. She raised her trembling hand and then gently started caring for my head while sobbing. Soon, I noticed a green flame started forming with the swift movements of Rebeca's fingers. When there formed a bright green flame, Rebeca touched her fingers on mom's forehead, and instantly within a second, the bloody wound disappeared.,

My rapid heartbeats slightly calmed down, seeing Rebeca's healing flame. But, exactly at that movement, a red fireball hit Rebeca's back. Turning her head, Rebeca found Armaros started walking indirectly. Rebeca stated, turning back to mom, "Rhea, we don't have enough time to heal. Try to get up dear, we have to leave right now."

Mom replied in a teary tone, "Rebeca, listen carefully. Fly to my mom. I want to give my daughter a normal safe life. Don't waste any more time."

"No, Rhea. I can't leave you like this," Rebeca replied while throwing another blue fireball towards Armaros who was at that moment, only a few steps away from them. Somehow, Rebeca's power slowed him down. But that time, he easily dodged Rebeca's attack. Then, Armaros growled in a scary voice, "Do you think you can steal that angel from me? From Armaros? Never, it is impossible."

Mom pushed Rebeca slightly away, then with a trembling voice, mom muttered, "Leave now. Please, Rebeca. Do me a favor and save my Hazel."

Rebeca didn't have any option left, Armaros was about to catch them. Sparing the last glance at mom, Rebeca fluttered her beautiful wings and within a blink of an eye, she disappeared with loud thud sounds. Armaros didn't expect Rebeca would leave without Rhea. He growled loudly and for following us, he too flapped his black feathery wings. Armaros is about to leave, when suddenly mom stabbed his leg with a broken piece of glass. Though it didn't affect a demon it indeed made him angry. He turned his head towards mom. His handsome face turned into an ugly horrible demon. He picked mom up, holding her cheeks then growled in extreme anger, "Right, I forgot about you. You must get your deserving punishment for helping angels." Mom didn't reply but a weak yet proud smile curled up on her lips.

Mom's smile angered him more. He roared angrily then without any second thought, Armaros slit her throat with his sharp long nails. Mom tried to breathe but within a few seconds, her eyes started closing. Mom's whole body soaked in blood fell on the ground.

I couldn't tolerate it anymore I opened my eyes. My eyes were all red. Tears were rolling down from my both eyes. I couldn't control my cry. Covering my face with both hands, I started sobbing. While gently caressing the back of my head, Rebeca exclaimed in her calm silvery tone, "Don't cry, dear. Your mother sacrificed her life for you. She knew that your birth will risk her life but yet she took all the risks only for you."

We were talking about past incidents and what happened after that when suddenly Hazel's phone rang loudly. I picked it up and it was Liam. Liam asked from the other side of the phone, "Hello, Milady. Where are you? We have reached your house."

I replied in a wobbly tone while wiping her tears with one hand, "I came to a walk with Rebeca, wait I will be there in ten minutes. Ok?"

"Alright, milady. Nothing to worry about. We are waiting," Liam assured.

Disconnecting the phone, both Rebeca and I started walking in the home's direction. Soon, we reached their house. Liam and Galaxy were already inside the house. Seeing me, Liam excitedly asked with his bright smile, "Milady! How are you? We missed you a lot."

"Yes, Milady. Without our Luna, the castle feels empty," added Galaxy. They both traditionally greeted me.

I replied, flashing a smile at them, "I am missing our castle too. Now tell me, exactly what is happening there? What is the present condition?"

"Well, Milady. I think that everything is under control now. Though it is a small matter, nothing to worry about. It is just a rogue attack and a cheap witch spell. Maybe, those rogues were passing by and entered our area and our guard caught them," explained Liam nonchalantly. Galaxy interrupted in a questionable tone, "Well, I have doubt, lingering in my mind for so long. Then, where is the witch? Is she was along with the rogues? Then, where she is hiding?"

"Maybe, our guards have already caught them. We are here, right? But, didn't Luxian identify already that it is just a cheap spell?" asked Liam confidently.

Galaxy nodded her head worriedly but didn't reply anymore.

I stated, "Well, now the only thing I want, is that I want to return to the castle." Then, something hit me and I asked again, curiously, "Where is Selene? Didn't she get to know anything before the incident?"

"NO. Selene is not in the castle. She went to Vampire's den with Damien," Galaxy replied instantly. I asked in confusion, "Why? I mean they can't go there like this. Everyone knows there that Selene helped us. How can even Xander allow it? Did he know?"

"Yes, of course, Milord knows. Without his permission we don't do anything," replied Liam nonchalantly.

Galaxy explained, "Yes. Vampire's den is empty now. So, Selene went there for awakening the real king of vampires, King Vlad. There are very few people in the castle now, according to Selene."

"Why?" I asked. Galaxy replied casually, "Because, Ralph along with his people will attend the full moon festival of Silver city so it is a great opportunity for us. Do you know what the Blood moon festival is? It is-" Before she could finish Liam interrupted her, "Well, Galaxy. I think that those rogues were also going to Silver city along with that witch and ended in the human realm through the secret path of our castle. What do you think?"

"Well possible. You do have a point," replied Galaxy, looking at Liam.

I asked anxiously, "Well, tell me what is the Blood moon festival? I haven't heard anything about it."
