A soft tempo was playing. It was a romantic tune. Our body started to move swim

fly with each other. He was holding my hand with one hand while wrapping the other hand around my waist. Xander was moving smoothly along with the tempo, he was no doubt a good dancer. When the symphony changed into a slow soft tune, he pulled me closer to him, it seemed like there was no one except us. I was looking at his deep sapphire eyes, extremely magnificent yet mysterious, then my eyes shifted to his thin lips inches away from me, so alluring that I couldn't control my gaze or mind. My thoughts were running wild. The corner of his lips curled up and formed a beautiful smile and I looked up again at his eyes. He whispered in my ears, "It seems like you are enjoying your view. Sigh. I wish I could read your thoughts, I am sure now you are thinking something naughty." I blushingly looked away and murmured, "Get lost, nothing like that." I heard his low soft chuckle. I bite my lower lips, looked at him, and saw a burning desire in his eyes. He whispered, "Don't do this in public, my love." I asked in confusion, "Do what?" again biting my lower lip. "It seems like you are inviting me to bite your lips in public, as you wish to love," after whispering, he started to lean forward lowering his head. I gently pushed him on his chest and murmured, "Don't you have any shame?"

He whispered, "Then don't allure me biting your lips, my love, or I will bite it instead of you."

Soon the song ended, he gently pecked on my cheek and led me again to our table. When I looked around I saw everyone was staring at us. Tugging his sleeves I asked in a low voice, "Why everyone is staring at us?" "They are not staring, a silly girl they are appreciating. Only some of them are envious of me and some girls are envious of you, my love," he replied with a smirk. "Umm-hmm, it is really fun to read others' minds," I exclaimed in astonishment. He replied, "Not at all. I want to read yours. Ughhh! Why are you so unique? Why I can't read you?" "Maybe because I am your mate," I replied in a convincing tone because I didn't want him to know the truth. "Umm maybe Let's order dinner" he replied. After dinner, it was time for his speech. Damien led him to the stage. He started delivering a speech. He gave all the credits to his co-workers and Francesco and Luxian, he even mentioned Damien, Jean, Leo, and many other names. I was looking at him, praising his alpha aura, he was indeed shinning among the crowd, like a diamond. Suddenly he fixed his eyes on me and said, "Last but not t, the person I want to thank you is my love of life, Hazel, thanks for coming into my life and making it so beautiful I want a toast in her name." Then he raised his glass of champagne.

And yelled, "To my love." Everyone in the crowd shouted along with him raising their glass, "To future Mr. Knight." I shyly smiled at him while blushing immeasurably. He winked at me. It was something unexpected. I didn't expect he would introduce me like that.

After his speech, he got busy talking with some industrialists while I was standing with Galaxy, and still then already plenty of people congratulated me and introduced themselves. I was showered with compliments and best wishes. Galaxy uttered while standing beside me, "Did you see Roxana and Mr. Ralph, Milady? They didn't toast for you." I saw Roxana and Ralph during the toast too. "Yes, that doesn't matter at all," I replied calmly while standing on the deck and staring at Xander who was still busy chatting, sitting far away from me, accompanied by a group of people. We were at that moment in the mid-sea, the ship was moving in a slow rhythm. Galaxy replied with concern, "Milady, you should always be careful of these bloodsuckers. They are not trustworthy at all. I am so happy you are our Luna, instead of her. She is such an impudent." I replied with a smile, "But she is more powerful than me, I am a mere human." She replied, "No Milady, you are the most beautiful and bravest human. Far better than her." I was flattered hearing her words, I didn't expect that they were ready to accept me even as a powerless human. Liam called Galaxy inside for some reason so she ran immediately to him, saying me sorry, apologetically.

I was standing alone leaning against the railing, facing the starry night sky and the endless sea. The cold wind was touching my whole body, relaxing it. I couldn't even imagine, I, an ordinary girl, could stand at the deck of the most costly ship of Alaska. Though I didn't even know my real identity, I couldn't even imagine my life would change like that. I sighed. Suddenly I heard a silvery voice behind me, a sound of high heel approached me and stopped beside me. I turned my head and found Roxana, stunningly dressed in a sexy golden gown. She said in her low silvery voice, "Oh my my! It seems like I have found delicious food. So you pathetic human, are you flying now in your imagination? You think you a helpless low class can be future Mrs. Knight?" I was not ready for her sudden attack so I was flabbergasted at first, but I replied with a dry smile, "Yes, Miss Vampire, I think I can be. Are you still daydreaming about it? Don't you think, you are already rejected?" She glared at me more wrathfully and replied, "You have rot some guts, Are you thinking that they can always protect you from me? Soon I will suck each drop of your blood along with your pride, just you wait. You cannot be the queen of the underworld and Xander is mine." I was not paying attention to her useless babbling, but her last sentence angered me, my whole body started burning. I knew I couldn't able to control my anger if I would stay there any longer. I looked at her feverishly and murmured, gritting my teeth, "Don't even dare to think of him. He is mine, only mine. I don't need anyone's help to burn you alive." Then I started walking towards the hall, without looking at her. She was indeed scared hearing my sudden threat, but soon she laughed out loud thinking it as void threatening, and replied to me from behind, "Pathetic low life, is now building a castle in the air. You are going to face a tragic death, inane girl."

Galaxy noticed our conversation and asked me about it as soon as I reached close to her. I explained to her shortly, while she was cursing Roxana, I was sipping on my wine glass, trying to control my rage. But as soon as Xander hugged me from behind placing a soft kiss on my cheek, my all wrath calmed down and was replaced with the longing for his touch.

He turned me to face him, but I could feel his hug tighten around me. I looked at his darkened expression ended and asked in confusion, "What happened?"
