He led me to the car, even in the darkness of the car my necklace was shining like real diamonds. I said in wonder, "this necklace looks like a real diamond, look it is still shining. How it is possible?" Xander replied with a smirk, "Silly girl because it is a real diamond necklace. Do you not even know the difference between real and fake diamonds?" I was surprised and yelled in excitement, "Oh my god, I am wearing a real diamond, I can't believe it, it costs more than 50millions. What if I lose it? No no, I have to be careful." Seeing my panicking, he laughed out loud, and replied, "Don't worry if you lose it I will buy you another one my love, relax." During the whole journey, I was trying to imagine how much money he had while he was talking about some deals on the phone with one of his investors.

Soon we reached ard cruise port. Taking my hand, Xander started walking towards a beautifully decorated cruise, standing on the port, extremely overcrowded. When we entered I found numerous people greeting us. It was named Riviera like a modern boutique hotel at sea, with luxurious suites. Captain of the ship came towards Xander and asked with a bright smile on his face, "Sir, are we ready to depart?" He replied, "Yes, depart now and inform the host to begin the party." I tugging Xander's sleeve, whispered, "Is it your party?" Xander holding me gently as if holding the most precious thing of the world, murmured, "Yes, don't you like my ship, my love?" I replied, "Of course, it is so luxurious. Is it yours?" "Umm-hmm. We are celebrating Riviera's achievement as the best cruise among all within a year. So Knight Corporation has arranged a party," he explained in his low voice. "So it is a party for only Knight Corporation's stuff," I asked. "No, Not at all, we have invited all the industrialists of Alaska and maybe everyone is present here. Are you nervous?" seeing me blinking, Xander asked in concern. I replied, "Yes, a little bit." "Don't worry, I am here with you. You just enjoy the party, come," holding my hand firmly he led me inside the whole. It was a bright atmosphere filled with the aromatic scent of delicious foods and people, dressed in costly dresses. When we entered I noticed every single people was staring at us. Xander started taking steps towards the stage while many young and middle age and a few old rich men greeted him respectfully. I could hear the humming of the crowds behind me, I even could hear some of their words Mr. Knight has brought his date tonight.'

'This girl looks so beautiful she must be from some upper-class family.'

'They look like made for each other. They compliment each other.'

'Look at the girl, she is pretty like a doll.'

'Mr. Knight indeed has very good taste. From where he has found such a beauty?'

'The girl is lucky also, I hope I can be in her place.'

I blushed hearing so many compliments, I didn't expect at all. It seemed like Xander also noticed my red face and he could easily read everyone's mind there, looking at me winked and with a mischievous smile, pulled me closer to him, wrapping his hand around my waist. I murmured rolling my eyes, "Shameless wolf!" I heard his soft chuckle above my head. He introduced me to some of his important stuff He handed me a glass of red wine and said, "Hazel, you wait here, I will come back soon." I nodded positively while sitting on the table booked for Xander. Suddenly I heard a familiar voice behind me and found Damien, with a gummy smile asked, "How are you milady? You are looking like a princess." Then he placed a kiss on my knuckles taking my hands. I replied with a smile, "Thanks for the compliment. I am alright, how are you all?" "We are superb. You two are looking great together and that fool, Xander was engaging with that bitch. By the way, Hazel, be careful, you can collide here with Roxana." Damien blurted out, sitting beside me. I asked in wonder, "Why are they here? Are they not angry with you?" then lowering my voice I asked, "Can a vampire party with a human?" The party was filled with humans so I wondered how they could join such a party. Damien replied with a chuckled as he was amused seeing my ignorance, "Numerous underworld creatures are living along with humans, and vampires don't need blood all the time. They can arrange blood from blood bank now in a legal way without killing anyone." "Hmm, but why are they here, I thought you people broke relations with them," I asked. He replied while sipping his champagne, "We broke the engagement only we still have professional relationships and they want to talk to us again, I think that's why Mr. Ralph is talking with Xander." Following his gaze, I found Xander chatting with Ralph. Soon Liam and Galaxy joined us and Damien left us to meet others. We trio talked like old friends. Liam and Galaxy respected me a lot but it seemed they genuinely care for me so we easily became close.

Suddenly I found a strong hand, caressing my hair from behind and I turned to face Xander. He was standing exactly behind me, seeing him both Liam and Galaxy stood from their seats and greeted him. Xander nodded with a smile and they left us alone. Xander took the seat next to me and asked with a smirk, "Enjoying the party, my love? Before I could reply soft music started to play and a couple started to dance. So he added immediately offering his hand, "Will you like to dance with me?" "Of course," I agreed instantly, placing my hand over him. He led me to the dance floor.
