●Nuri's P.O.V.●

The night became morning, but Daniel didn't wake up for once. And I spent the sleepless night because of Daniel's and Ray's confession on the same day.

"Why does my life have to be so complicated??!!" I asked myself again and again.

I was thinking about my problems when I got a call, and it was from India! I remembered I forgot to call Mom yesterday, and now I was going to hear a long lecture. I sighed and received the call.

"Hello, mom...I'm sorry.

I forgot to call you." I tried to convince mom as soon as I received the call.

"Didi!!!"

But instead of scolding, I heard an excited voice on the opposite side of the call.

"Eh?"

"Di... It's me, Kirti!!

I heard you're on a solo trip in South Korea, So I just wanted to confirm how you are doing there?"

It was my cousin sister Kirtika. She was a Korean drama fan too. But she was out of town for some reason, and I couldn't reach her before leaving India.

"I am doing fine.

When did you come back?" I asked with a smile.

"Yesterday!

But when I came to your house, aunt told me you left to enjoy an alone trip!

Though I was mad at you at first, you are still my favorite sister, so I am forgiving you this time."

She was a chatterbox and kept talking, and I hummed. But it was cute that she still behaved like a child.

"By the way, Di, Have you met any hot guy in South Korea?" Kirti giggled.

"I see. So that was the main curiosity?"

"You got me all wrong, Di!

I just wanted to know. I heard South Korea is filled with Handsome and Hot boys.

Tell me, if you have met someone. I'll keep it a secret, I promise." Kirti's voice was so excited.

She almost gave me the feeling that I was already at home. I smiled and thought if I should tell her about Daniel or not. But all of a sudden, Daniel said,

"【내게... 물을... 주..세요.】"

"【Give..Me...Water...】

Kirti gasped as I understood she heard Daniel. My eyes widened.

"Why is your timing so wrong, Daniel?" I thought in my mind as I pressed the mute button of the phone, and ran to Daniel to pass him the glass of water.

I helped Daniel to sit on his back, leaning on the bed.

Then I poured him a glass of water. Daniel coughed a little before drinking it while I rubbed his back lightly.

"Nuri..." Daniel called.

"My sister is on call. Can you please keep quiet for a second? I will say bye and cut the call." I asked while flashing an awkward smile.

Daniel stared at me for a long second before nodding his head.

Finally, I pressed the unmute button and said hello.

"Who was that?

It was a boy, Right?

And he was talking in Korean !!!!!!!!

Di, tell me who he is ?" Kirti almost screamed.

"Oh my gosh!!! Don't scream, or Mom will cut my trip short, please!!!" I requested her.

"Fine...

But tell me, who is he?" Kirti demanded.

"He was from the room service." I lied.

Daniel glanced at me with a raised eyebrow when I mentioned room service. I averted my gaze to save myself from that embarrassing situation.

"Di, Are you sure?" Kirti asked again with her doubtful voice.

"200% sure... Please stop doubting your cousin!! Geez!" I stressed my confidence.

"But..." Kirti wanted to say something else, but I cut her words off.

"Why are you calling me from Mom's number ?" I tried to change the subject.

"Oh, that. Actually, my phone is out of battery, and I wanted to talk to you as soon as possible. Hence, I asked for my aunt's phone." Kirti explained.

"I see.." I replied.

"But Di, That guy..." Kirti tried to drag back the topic again.

"Omo... I need to go and visit somewhere, but I haven't taken a shower yet! I will call you later, okay?

Bye Bye.." I said and disconnected the call as soon as possible.

Kirti was trying to say many more things, but I didn't have a choice except to ignore her for that moment.

I took a deep breath as I felt relieved.

"Room Service, huh ?"

I heard a chuckle. I glanced up at Daniel only to find him smiling at me.

I knew Daniel didn't understand anything as Kirti and I was talking in Bengali (Indian Language). The room service part was in English, and he understood what we were talking about. Daniel indeed was a smart person.

I smiled back and checked his forehead. The fever was low, but it was still there.

"Haven't I said, if you get sick again, I won't take care of you," I scolded while crossing my arms.

"But you still did.." Daniel smiled adorably.

"Yeah... Because I wanted to know the details." I answered, maintaining eye contact.

"Details about what ?" Daniel replied while scratching his head.

"About why you were soaking yourself to death in the rain.

About Yoonah and ..." I stopped as I remembered Daniel's confession.

"And..?" Daniel asked curiously.

"Uhm... And..." I couldn't say the word.

"Nuri, since when, you been so slow? Hurry up! And..?" Daniel asked with a raised eyebrow.

"And Nothing.

Tell me, why were you out in the rain first?" I yelled.

"Calm down, tigress." Daniel placed his hand on his heart, acting as if my yelling hurt his heart.

I rolled my eyes.

"I was looking for you." Daniel finally answered.

My eyes followed his gaze at his hands. Was he feeling shy?

"I tried to call you so many times. Even I went to Ray's hotel to check if you were there. But I didn't find him and took his number from his friend.

And guess what?

Ray's number was switched off too!

I started finding you at the nearby places but still couldn't find you.

Then what would you expect me to do?" Daniel pouted.

A smile approached my lips, watching him pouting. It was a new expression from him.

"Then you should have waited for me in the room," I answered, staring at his cute face.

"I was too worried to just wait in my room. What if you were in some kind of danger? You are a danger magnet anyway.

And that Ray guy was with you too! How can you expect me to just wait inside the room until you come back in that situation?" Daniel coughed a little after explaining a long story. He looked weak.

"You were finding me while walking in the rain?" I asked once again.

"Maybe.." Daniel averted his gaze to another side of the room.

"You're an idiot." I hit Daniel's head lightly.

"Oh, and what are you? Miss Danger magnet?" Daniel made a grumpy face.

"Fine... Tell me about Yoonah?

Where is she? And what happened after I left you two alone?" I asked curiously.

"Isn't it obvious? I told her to come back to her senses. I didn't even remember the date was our anniversary." Daniel narrowed his eyes on me.

"So Daniel didn't remember the date.

It was just a coincidence." I thought as I kept staring at Daniel.

"But why did you leave in the first place, huh ?" Daniel raised his voice a little.

"I thought you planned this trip because it was your anniversary and you missed Yoonah.

When she appeared out of nowhere, I just wanted to give you two some space." I answered with guilt in my voice.

"And ended up making me find you everywhere!" Daniel mocked.

"I'm sorry." I apologised quickly before getting scolded more.

Daniel rolled his eyes, "Apologies when you mean it."

"I do mean it. I swear." I answered excitedly.

"I don't feel like it." Daniel analysed the room as he said that.

"How can I make you feel that I am feeling sorry from the bottom of my heart?" I asked with an annoyed tone.

"Maybe if I get my answer, I'll believe you're sorry," Daniel said without any expression.

I wanted to answer back, but I understood the meaning of his last sentence and stopped talking. I blinked too many times, thinking if I heard right.

I lowered my head as my cheeks turned red. Daniel was asking for an answer to his confession.

"I am waiting." I heard Daniel whispering.

I hesitatingly glanced up at Daniel. And he was staring at me earlier.

"About...Wh-what?" I played dumb.

"You don't look so dumb, Nuri," Daniel smirked.

"But still, If you want to hear it again, then I have no problem." He shrugged.

"Nuri, I love-" Daniel almost confessed again, but before that, someone interrupted us by ringing the doorbell.

We both glanced at the door.

"Have you ordered something?" Daniel asked casually.

"No. I didn't.

Ah, I think Ray has come." I said with a smile.

"Yah, stop smiling! If he has come, still what is there to be so happy about?

And why is he here?" Daniel's face became serious.

"It was Ray who carried you to this room. And he stayed up till late at night, even talked to the doctor.

Do you think I took care of you alone? I couldn't have done anything without him." I said and moved towards the door.

Daniel sighed in disappointment. Before opening the door, Daniel asked, "Hey Nuri, I've just realised I am not wearing my old clothes. Who changed it ?"

Daniel's eyes were curious now. My eyes widened for a second. Then I smiled while scratching the nape of my neck.

"Who ....Did...It?????" Daniel asked as he shot death glares at me.

I gulped and answered hesitatingly, "Not me.."

Daniel's face dropped into uttered fear as he asked, "Then who ?"

I didn't answer and just opened the door for the person who was ringing the doorbell. As I assumed, It was Ray who came to check on Daniel. He entered the room while smiling and asked, "How is Daniel Hyung now?"

Daniel's angry red eyes met Ray's. And in a fraction of a second, Ray sensed something was wrong. Ray gulped a large amount of saliva as he asked with a low tone, "Wh-what is the ma-matter, Daniel Hyung?"

Daniel's eyes were not like a human anymore. He seemed like a demon in a human costume. Daniel shot his intimidating death glares at Ray as he asked, "Were you the one who changed my clothes?"
