Chapter 4: Chapter 4

"Please take me to the nearest police station." I requested.

The cab driver eyed at me from the driver seat, " but you have registered for - "

He couldn't finish his words when I shut him up.

"I know. But I need to go there now." I said while rubbing my hands, "I will pay as much as you want."

The driver turned his head back to the front view after hearing my declaration.

I kicked the robber very hard on the stomach and punched his face so hard that he couldn't think about stealing for at least 3-4 months. But he escaped.

The knuckle of my right hand had turned reddish already.

"Seriously, why did I fight for an unknown foreigner girl's luggage??" I thought while clicking my tongue.

"Damn. That girl is driving me nuts!"

I couldn't understand that I said the sentence out loud.

Suddenly, the driver glanced at me weirdly from the mirror. I smiled awkwardly in embarrassment.

He then again concentrated on driving. Okay, that was embarrassing.

"This girl is making me crazy. Calm down, Daniel, calm down!" I heaved a sigh.

Suddenly I noticed a backpack in between some of the robbed things I took with me in the seat.

It was cute. And there was a key chain.

I held it and turned the key chain. It was a keychain, representing a boy band from South korea. I laughed a little realising she was a fan of a big boyband of South Korea as I was too.

It was an ac cab, and I still felt so hot. I wrapped the sleeves of my white shirt to my elbows and opened two buttons from the top.

"Whew. Now I feel better."

"We are here, sir. "

The cab driver stopped and said while glancing at me.

I saw we reached the police station. I paid the amount the driver charged, and he helped me with all the luggage.

I went inside the police station with that luggage and said, "Excuse me ?!"

But I saw none. My eyes searched the room for someone to at least hand over all the stolen things.

Suddenly, I noticed a girl who was sitting alone on a chair looking pale and worried.

"I found these bags- " I stopped midway because I realised she was the same girl from the morning, I met. Those big brown eyes, the light brown hair, she was the one who ruined my day. I couldn't forget her.

"You?" I asked her as she eyed me with a shocked expression on her face.

"You?" I asked back.

that man, for whom this tragedy happened with me, he was in front of me again.

I felt anger accumulating inside me. I almost opened my mouth to say the words of anger. But A cop interrupted.

"๋„ค?"

ใ€Yesใ€‘The cop asked as he glanced at that man.

The Man from the morning responded and started talking to the Cop in Korean. Suddenly, I noticed the guy had some bags which looked exactly like mine. My eyes became as wide as pool balls.

"This! It is my backpack !" I screamed in excitement.

The Korean guy and the cop stared at me with a weird look as if I belonged to an alien galaxy.

"Omo! And these are my luggage!" I noticed the Korean guy had all my luggage.

I started pulling my backpack from the Korean guy.

"Give me back my things!!"

But he pulled back the backpack.

"๋ฐ”๋ณด์•ผ " He yelled.

ใ€Stupidใ€‘

"First, prove that These are yours." He smirked, glancing at me.

"Yah! I am saying these are mine."

"๊ฒฝ์ฐฐ์„œ์—์„œ ์‹ธ์šฐ์ง€ ๋งˆ! "

ใ€don't fight at the police station!ใ€‘ The Cop screamed.

I couldn't understand what he said, but I felt maybe he scolded us. So I just left the backpack and stood in a straight position, ready to march in the parade.

I saw from the corner of my eyes that the Korean guy also became a little calm.

Then Cops called us inside. The boy talked with them. It was more like briefly explaining.

After his explanation, the cops shifted their gaze at me.

"์ด ์‚ฌ๋žŒ์ด ์ง„์‹ค์„ ๋งํ•˜๊ณ  ์žˆ๋‚˜์š”?

๊ทธ๋Š” ๋‹น์‹ ์˜ ๋‚จ์ž์นœ๊ตฌ์ž…๋‹ˆ๊นŒ? "

I was confused as hell about what they were asking me.

Suddenly the Korean guy leaned towards me and whispered, " Just say yes."

" And Why would I do that ?" I whispered back in disbelief.

"Because I am saving your ass here." He gave a fake, cold smile.

" But if you don't want your things back. Then it's fine." He smirked.

I gulped. I wanted my things back. But I didn't know if I could believe this guy.

"Ahem ~" A cop cleared his throat.

"๋ฏธ์Šค์—๊ฒŒ ๋Œ€๋‹ตํ•ด ์ฃผ์„ธ์š”." The Cop asked again.

"๊ทธ๋Š” ๋‹น์‹ ์˜ ๋‚จ์ž์นœ๊ตฌ์ž…๋‹ˆ๊นŒ?"

I noticed from the corner of my right eye, the Korean guy was smiling like we were hanging out in the garden.

I sighed. I had no option left. Finally, I nodded, and one of the cops wrote something on his file.
