●Daniel's P.O.V.●

I choked on my juice when I heard that.

"What?"

"Yeah. You said I could go anywhere to visit. "

Nuri blinked a couple of times, making an innocent face.

"Do you think my office is a visiting place ?" I asked, making a straight face.

"Please, Daniel!" She pleaded.

"But why?" I asked, being confused.

"Because I am scared," Nuri explained in a low tone as she gave an innocent expression.

"I feel safe with you." Nuri pointed her index finger towards me.

"Whhhhhhhyyyyy?

Why is she so cute?

Ah! Can I say no?" I glanced at her big brown eyes, which were already on me. I cleared my throat. She became focused on me.

●Nuri's P.O.V.●

"Are you sure you won't be bored here?" Daniel asked me once again.

"Yes! Daniel, you have just asked me the question like 8th times, including now." I answered, making an annoyed face.

"I am telling you last time I need to finish all the work today. I can be late. Can you wait here for 10 hours? Think again?" He raised an eyebrow.

I gulped. I knew very well that I was going to get bored to death but going outside alone to visit places was the least I wanted to do after a kidnapper entered my room in a disguise, last night.

So I acted in front of Daniel and gave a big smile assuring him I will be fine when he would be gone to work.

He stared at me with doubt in his eyes.

I still managed to keep a smile. And finally, Daniel sighed heavily.

"Why are you so weird ?" He said, sighing.

"If I find the answer, I will let you know." I still kept smiling.

Daniel ruffled my hair and smiled at me so adorably that I became silent for a moment, and I only admired Daniel and his charm.

I came back to reality when Daniel clasped his hand.

"Okay! There, opposite to you, is a coffee machine. You can have coffee if you want. " He explained.

"Okay," I answered with a nodding head.

"1 pm is my lunchtime. I will come out of my cabin, and we can go for lunch at the nearby restaurant."

"Yes, sir," I answered like I was going to start the march parade anytime and salute him.

He giggled.

"But if you get hungry before 1 pm, call me, okay ?" He said, smiling.

I nodded my head. Daniel patted my head for the last time and sauntered towards his office cabin.

I was waiting in the waiting hall, I guess. But I was wondering if Non-staffs were allowed here.

Daniel told me to wait here, then maybe it was allowed.

I Started clicking selfies as I was already bored.

I just realised that only being with Daniel kept me entertained. We could talk about the most boring thing in the world. But still, it would feel good and exciting.

"Is Daniel genie or something?" I shifted my gaze at the door from where Daniel entered his office while thinking all this.

"It's only 20 minutes, you have left, and I'm already bored, Daniel," I murmured.

Suddenly two men came out of that office. One was thin as a stick, and one was fat like a balloon.

They looked like "motu patlu" from the Indian cartoon series. They looked so funny together that I laughed while hiding my face. Suddenly they stopped in front of me. I controlled my laugh and tried to keep a straight face.

"Crap! Did they catch me laughing? Omo! Why am I a danger magnet?"

I tried to avoid their existence for some time, but it was impossible when the man with a body resembling a stick asked, "Excuse me. Are you the new staff ?"

"Are you lost? I can help you. I am a three years old employee here." The fat man said proudly.

I glanced at them with an awkward smile. The stick-figured man protested.

"Yah! Jee Hyun! I am a four years old employee here. I can help her more properly."

And they started fighting in the Korean language. I sighed in relief because they didn't see me laughing at them.

"Wait! Why did they ask me these things in English? I thought Korean office employees also used Korean in the workplace. Or was it my appearance?" I thought, rubbing my chin, "Daniel also never talked to me in Korean. He always used English while talking to me. Then maybe it is my appearance."

"Okay, I look out of the place. Is it bad or good?" I sighed, thinking about it.

I glanced at both men and cleared my throat. They shifted their attention to me finally, stopping their argument.

"Actually, I am waiting for someone." I explained while smiling.

The stick-figured man asked, "Aw? Who is it ?"

They stared at me with a very attentive look on their faces as if their life depended on my answer. I didn't want to say it but watching them staring at me like that, I felt annoyed. I just wanted them to leave me alone. Hence, I finally said, "I am waiting for Daniel."

They glanced at each other for a few seconds as if I had said I was going to explode this building with a bomb or something. Then they glanced back at me, and Jee-Hyun asked, "Do you have any work to discuss with him ?"

"Well. No, actually-"

The stick-figured man couldn't let me finish and asked another question.

"Then Did he insult you or something, so you came to complain to our boss? Because Boss is not here right now. "

It was annoying. I didn't know why they were interrogating me with weird questions.

"No. Actually----"

Again I couldn't finish my sentence when the man Jee-Hyun asked, "Are you in love with him? Did he reject you? Are you stalking him?"

Oh my gosh! They were insane. I raised my voice finally to stop them from asking those dumb and weird questions.

"For God's Love, Nooo! I am his friend, and we have some plans after his work hours."

I stood up from the seat and said in one breath so they couldn't interrupt me this time. They once again looked at each other and then at me.

"Daniel's friend? Chinja?" The stick-figured man asked with shock.

I nodded. They both glanced at each other in shock once again.

"You know, right? He will be leaving at 6 pm.?" Jee-Hyun asked.

"Yeah. I know that." I answered casually.

They both glanced down at their watches and then at me.

Then Jee-Hyun and Ted again glanced at each other. Maybe they both were thinking I was crazy because I told them that I was going to wait for Daniel for 10 hours.

I know it was crazy. And the people had a perfect reason to think like it. But they didn't know my situation.

Finally, they smiled at me and left by the other door. I smiled back and sat down on the comfortable seat again. I felt relieved as I saw them, leaving.

●Daniel's P.O.V.●

I was working as a machine because I wanted to finish all the files today.

"Boss said I could take leave till they come back from Tokyo if I could finish all the pending files Yoonah had."

I decided to finish all the work today. So I could go with Nuri to the visiting places from tomorrow because She was scared to go alone. Nuri even came to my office with me because she felt safe with me.

I smiled stupidly. I couldn't lie. When Nuri said she feels safe with me, I felt like superman.

Suddenly I heard Jee-Hyun and Ted talking to each other.

Naturally, I ignored them because they were always slandering people. But some certain words caught my attention.

"The foreigner girl is beautiful. Isn't she ?" Ted said.

"Indeed. I wanted to impress her, but you started arguing with me, Ted." Jee-Hyun frowned.

Wait, what ?? "Foreigner girl" and "Impress?".

Jee-Hyun was trying to impress a foreign girl? What the heck!

I felt as if my whole body was burning in anger. That Jee-Hyun! Ted!

They went too far.

I glanced at my watch. It was 12:45 pm. I registered the time as my lunch break, and I exited my cabin in a rush. Here only foreign girl I knew was that dumb, beautiful girl Nuri.
