Chapter 52: Chapter 52
Jason walked down into the dungeons, making sure every guard wasn't around. When he reached Dimitri's cell he quickly walked in and unchained the king.
Dimitri stood on his feet and followed Jason, keeping himself back from shifting and running.
"You know, I'm not the type to forgive..." Dimitri sounded.
Jason frowned, "What?"
"I don't like forgiving people, but I can see some good in you, kid."
Jason didn't say anything as he lead Dimitri out.
He poked his head out of the building's doors before motioning for Dimitri to continue following him. When they were halfway to the border of their territory a coyote like howl sounded.
Jason's eyes widened, "Run."
Dimitri frowned, "What?"
"RUN!"
Dimitri didn't hesitate to shift and take off, sprinting through the forest as fast as a bullet. Jason growled when someone jumped on him and pinned him down.
"Clarissa, over here!" The man shouted.
Jason growled again, "Benjamin, get off of me."
"No can do, traitor." Benjamin snarled back.
Clarissa smiled as she walked over to him and knelt beside him. She shoved Benjamin off before grabbing Jason by his hair. She chuckled at the annoyed look on his face.
"Such a shame you decided to grow a heart. You were such a great leader." She sighed, feigning sorrow.
Jason glared at her, "Such a shame I was stupid enough to trust you."
"You're still pretty stupid too." She sighed.
"Ben, the knife."
Benjamin handed her the dagger and watched, silently, as she plunged it into Jason's side. Jason screamed as she twisted it, a sadistic smile plastered on her face.
She pulled the dagger up, causing even more damage and pain for him. She then twisted it again, enjoying his screams. When she decided enough was enough she yanked it out and allowed him to drop back on to the ground.
She then grabbed a small vile of a blue liquid and poured it on his wound. Jason screamed again, desperately trying to shove her away.
"Now, it definitely won't heal quickly." She chuckled.
"Ben, Derek, take him to the cliff hanging over the river. Tie him up with silver chains and leave him there with no shirt. He can starve to death." She ordered.
Both men nodded and roughly grabbed him, forcing him to his feet. Jason spit up blood as he stumbled through the woods.
When they reached the cliff they forced him to his knees and wrapped the silver chain around him. They then tied him to a large wooden pole.
"She didn't say we couldn't beat him up, right?" Derek asked.
Benjamin smirked, "No, she didn't."
Jason spit out the blood as the men walked away, laughing. He hung his head and for the first time in years....
He cried.
"We're home!" Sage yelled as her and Sara walked through the door.
"No one cares!"
Sage and Sara scowled at Demetria as she walked out of the kitchen, eating a jar of Nutella.
"Rude." Sage grumbled.
"That would be me." Demetria smiled before walking into the family room.
Sara sighed, "I'm going to shower."
"Why didn't you shower at the hotel?" Sage questioned.
"Somebody used all of the hot water."
"Oh.....right."
Sage scurried up the stairs and straight to Rosalie. She jumped onto the bed and sighed.
"I know what we're going to do." She announced.
Rosalie raised an eyebrow, "And that is?"
"Gather all of the packs and attack. Of course I would have to come up with an attack plan, but that's the huge plan. Instead of waiting for them to bring the war to us, we're going to bring it to them."
Rosalie nodded, "That's a good idea."
"I-
"We need everyone and need to attack the skin-walkers before Jason dies."
They both looked at the door to see Dimitri trying to catch his breath.
"Damn, running two hundred miles is tiring. New record for me." He stated proudly.
Rosalie and Sage just continued staring at him in shock. He frowned at them, he then sighed.
"Jason freed me. Now, can we start planning on saving his annoying ass or...?"
"Get.Your.Ass.Over.Here.And.Fucking.Kiss.Me." Rosalie growled.
Dimitri frowned and shook his head, "You look like you're about to kill me, I'd rather not."
"Don't make me get out of this bed." She snapped.
"Still not moving. You scare the living shit out of me." He states firmly.
She raised an eyebrow, "I am your wife! You better fucking kiss me and let me cry into your shirt!"
Dimitri sighed and slowly walked over, Sage burst out laughing as Rosalie grabbed him and kissed him. She cried and slapped him across the face.
"You should have called! Damn it, I've been laying here, pregnant, waiting for you! Everyone was worried sick and running around, making plans on how to save you!" She sobbed.
Dimitri gently picked her up and cradled her, "I'm sorry, baby girl."
Rosalie sighed as she wiped away her tears, "Now, what about Jason?"
"Dad, you're home!" Sara screamed as she ran in and hugged him.
Dimitri chuckled and kissed her on the head, "I can tell you're feeling better."
"I am. Now, what about Jason?"
Dimitri sighed, "He let me go, I can't tell you why. I want him to tell you, but we need to have an army in less than twenty four hours. From what I heard them doing to him, he doesn't have much time."
"I don't understand..." Sara whispered.
"Jason will die if we don't get there in time and kill those bastards. He saved me, it's my turn to save him."
Jason shivered violently as the night's freezing temperatures caught up to him. He dry heaved, spitting out blood that pooled into his mouth. His eye sight blurred for a few seconds before returning to normal.
"I'm sorry, mom and dad. I'm so sorry." He cried softly.
"Jason?"
He snapped his head up as a young girl ran out from the shadows. His eyes widened and panic coursed through him.
"Iris, what the hell? Run!" He whisper yelled.
Iris shook her head, "I'm not leaving you here to die."
"I love you, but get the hell out of here. Go and tell Dimitri everything. Where this hell hole is located and about all of their plans! Now, go!"
"No! You're my brother! I-I can't leave you to die! I lost mom and dad, I'm not losing you too!" She cried.
Jason sighed, "And I can't watch you die. I already watched mom and dad, I can't watch you too. You're too young. Now, please, go."
Iris furrowed her eyebrows and took a step closer, but Jason shook his head.
"Please." He whispered.
Iris had silent tears running down her face as she ran over and gently hugged him. Ignoring the burning of the silver chains.
"I'll get them to come back, but don't you dare die. I can't lose my big brother too." She whispered.
Jason cried softly and kissed her on the forehead. "Now, go."
Iris obeyed this time and climbed down the side of the cliff before running alongside the river.
Benjamin and Derek stepped out and frowned.
"Who were you talking to?" Benjamin questioned.
Jason glared at them, "My deceased parents."
"Oh, well, Clarissa sent us to make sure your wound doesn't heal." Derek answered.
Jason screamed as they used their claws and opened up his wound again. When they were done he was shivering and bleeding.
"I'm sorry." He whispered to no one.
Warning! This has small spoilers for my book, Alaricas! It's not much though lol
"So, Alpha Cain is joining?" Sage asked.
Dimitri nodded as he munched on a cracker, "Yeah."
Sara sighed and went to grab a cracker when Dimitri grabbed the pack and slowly dragged them towards him. Sara scowled at him as he looked at her.
"Mine." He mumbled, taking another bite of his cracker.
Sara rolled her eyes, "Asshole."
Dimitri smirked, "That would be me."
"So, anyway, we attack first then two other packs attack five minutes after us?" Sage asked.
"Yes, every five minutes two more packs will attack. The skin-walkers don't stand a chance." Dimitri replied.
"What about Alaricas?"
Dimitri frowned, "Not sure. He has been having issues lately, but he's way better than he was."
Sage nodded, "Then, looks like we got a plan figured out."
"While you guys are fighting, I'm going to sneak out and find Jason." Sara said.
Dimitri nodded, "That would be a good thing, just make sure you can defend yourself."
"Will do."
"Your highness!"
All three turned to see a young girl bursting into his office, her eyes wide. Her skin was pale and she looked like she was panicking. Sage got up and hurried over to her.
"What's wrong?" She asked.
The girl swallowed, "My brother is dying! And I can't do anything! He won't let me help him, he doesn't want them killing me. He told me to tell you all about the skin-walkers schedule and where they're located."
"Whoa, relax. Who's your brother?"
Sara got up and walked over, she knelt before the girl. "Your brother is Jason, isn't he?"
The girl nodded, "Yeah, please save him. I-I already lost my parents. I can't lose him too." She cried softly.
Sara smiled, "We're going to save him. We already have everything figured out."
"You do?"
"Yes, trust me, he isn't dying any time soon. Plus, he owes me an apology." She chuckled.
That night Sara brought Iris to her room and tucked her in, she then walked back downstairs and grabbed a glass of water. She sighed, taking a seat at the kitchen table.
She was worried about Jason, she didn't know why, but she was. She knew he abused her, used her, and raped her, but she still worried about him.
She ran her hand through her hair when she caught someone's scent. She bit back a growl as her mate walked into the kitchen with a she-wolf. Both were laughing and kissing.
She was shocked when she only felt a little pain in her heart, a large part of her didn't care for him.
"Enjoying yourselves?" She asked, taking a sip of her water.
Both gasped and spun around, her mate paled.
"S-Sara, it's not what it looks like." He mumbled.
She laughed, bemused with the whole situation. "Oh? What are you two doing then? Inspecting each other's mouths with your tongues?"
The girl gulped, "Princess, I swear, we're not a thing."
"Of course you aren't, he has about twenty other girls lined up to shove his dick into." Sara replied coldly.
Her mate took a step forward, "Please, I just want to have fun. I'm not ready for a mate yet."
"Well, that's good. Neither am I."
"What?"
"I, Sara Jacquelyn Black, reject you, Andrew Marcus Slade, as my mate." She said, her voice empty.
Andrew shook his head, "No, please don't do this! I'm not going to accept it."
Sara smirked and chuckled, "Then you can feel the pain when I screw somebody else. Oh, and by the way, I fucked your brother."
His eyes widened, "What? How could you?"
"It's just sex." She stated with a shrug before walking out.
Dumbass. She thought as she rolled her eyes.
