"How are you holding up Bambi?" Haley chuckled, eyeing my fidgety form, she just came back from talking to Michi with a wide smile so I assumed she did her part right.

"How the hell do you think I am," I whisper shouted

"Oh calm down Lila and I are doing the hard part and if you ask me we should've just killed her because the more people that know the more chances you can get your ass thrown in jail," Haley said

"Again enough with trying to kill the poor girl we've established that's off the table," I said

"Fine just don't say I didn't warn you when she spills her big mouth," Haley rolled her eyes

"Yo Cole, how's Paris?" Chad loudly asked video calling Cole

"Cole," I gulped locking eyes with Haley who put her hands up like this was all me

"It's alright but I didn't come here for the view, what are you guys doing?" Cole answered, he hadn't sent one single message to me or even just a short call but he didn't mind video calling his drunk buddies, just wow.

"Just chilling at your place," Chad answered

"Oh really, just don't mess with my shit got it," Cole warned

"No need Haley gave us the good stuff," Chad showed Cole the weed in a see-through packet, way to throw me under the bus.

"Can I speak to Haley for a sec," Cole asked with a restrained tone, he was pissed.

"Ya sure," Chad said handing me his phone, I quickly walked into the house out of earshot with my heart beating through the roof.

"Hey," I awkwardly said, switching the video call to normal call cause I didn't want to stare at his angry face as I tried to lie my way through this.

"Don't hey me, you know I only have one rule in my house one rule Haley, don't fucking touch my stash," He angrily yelled into the phone, I cringed.

"I know don't worry I'll buy you more ok I promise I'll replace it all I just needed it for tonight," I said

"What on earth would you need it for?" He asked in disbelief

"Something," I mumbled shamefully

"You know what I just can't deal with you right now," and he hung up just like that, his words felt like a spear lodging its way through my heart, what did I do now. With a sad sigh, I went back outside handing Chad his phone back.

"You look like shit," Haley commented

"That's cause I feel like it too," I sighed into the chair looking up at the starry night

"Just relax this is Cole we're talking about give him a couple of days to cool down and replace his stash, you'll see you'll be back to sucking faces in no time," she tried to cheer me up but it didn't work because I was already spiralling into my dark void. Throughout the rest of the night, I just drank my heart out hoping to feel numb and when it was time to kick everyone out I had accomplished my desire to feel numb.

"Great story Michi now get out and go home," Haley ordered kicking everyone out the gate

"I don't think we should be driving cause I'm like seeing two of you," Chad slurred pointing at Haley and the space next to her,

"That's why I'm driving," Bobby said for the first time he didn't have that much to drink and was still somewhat sober.

"Great now fuck off before I pull out my taser," Haley threatened them, they scurried away with their tails between their legs because no one disobeyed Haley without losing a limb or two.

"Well now they're gone, why don't you clean up and I plant the evidence," she said heading into the house.

"Uhg fine," I groaned, starting to pack the plastic chairs one over the other and take them inside. I took out a black plastic bag to start throwing away the rubbish then cleaned the round display tray that had snacks on it, once everything was back in order I went downstairs to the cellar to find Haley admiring the wine.

"What are you doing?" I asked her making her jump

"Just staring," She said, "Anyway come take a wine bottle," she said

"What for?" I asked

"Well, you said you were coming to get a wine bottle before you found Veronica and Liam talking didn't you?" She asked

"Oh right ya," I remembered walking down the stairs

"Slide your hand down the rail," Haley ordered and I gave her a questionable look

"Just do it dumbass," she impatiently said so I did and grabbed a wine bottle.

"Now let's get out of here and meet up with Lila," she said and went upstairs while I stared at the spot Veronica died imagining the blood that seeped out of her as her cold dead eyes bore into mine I felt like I was back to that day freaking over what to do with her, my stomach churned and without warning, I vomited on the spot.

"Oh for the love of God," Haley groaned angrily looking at the mess I made

"Sorry," I cried tears burning my eyes as my throat felt clogged up.

"Just shut up and don't move, '' she ordered muttering curse words under her breath as she went upstairs to fetch some things to clean the mess I made up. I felt terrible for everything I did to her because of me she was caught up in my web of lies and if I go down she goes down with me, then what would happen to Kyle I would never forgive myself if I deprived him of growing up without his mother and father.

"Seriously you're like an eighteen-year-old still a fucking child," Haley complained as she helped clean my mess

"I said I was sorry," I said

"Sorry doesn't fucking fix this mess does it?" She angrily asked

"No," I mumbled

"Exactly now just shut up and-" she didn't finish her sentence as she vomited on my damn new Nike air force

"Jesus christ Haley I just got this," I angrily complained moving away from her

"It's your fucking fault seeing your vomit made me-" again she didn't finish her sentence as she emptied the rest of her stomach, I suddenly felt sick again holding my hand over my mouth trying to keep my stomach calm.

"Ok I'm done now," she groaned wiping her mouth with the back of her hand

"Great now let's clean this up and get out of here, I feel like this place is haunted," I shivered looking around the place as a chill danced up my spine.

"And I thought I was the only one," she said mopping the floor as I tried cleaning my shoes

"This cost a hundred and fifty-five dollars you know," I grumbled gagging at the smell of vomit on my shoes

"Oh quit complaining you pansy I'll get you new ones just hurry up," she said, she wasn't looking so well so I obeyed and when we finished cleaning the place we left in a hurry taking the cleaning equipment with us.

"You commit another murder don't even dare think of involving me got it," Haley said

"Got it," I said getting into my car

"Great now let's go see how that buffoon is doing," she drove to my place to find Lila was waiting patiently by the steps watching something on her phone.

"What took you guys so long?" She asked

"Doesn't matter, you completed your part?" Haley asked

"Easy peasy lemon squeezy even left the location on," Lila proudly said

"Good then we have one more thing to do," Haley said

"We can't take my car the camera at the garage already has my number plate," I said

"Then let's take mine," Haley offered

"Yes road trip," Lila whipped heading to Haley's car

"How the girl gets excited to cover up a crime scene is not surprising, to say the least," Haley said

"I know right," I agreed, we sat at the back of the car while Lila drove because the camera's at the garage already had a video of me entering the store and Haley looked exactly like me so we couldn't go back in there twice.

"Stay down," Lila ordered as we arrived and we followed sliding to the floor of the car, it was pretty dark out and empty so Lila quickly went inside.

"You think she can do it?" I asked Haley

"Sis I wouldn't be surprised if the cops arrive to arrest your ass this second," she said

"So that's a no then," I guessed with a sigh

"No it's a maybe I'm not entirely sure what she's capable of but she sure knows how to defend herself," she said which was assuring. We waited silently for her to come back and when she did she didn't say anything just drove out of there like the devil was on her heels,

"Well?" Haley said sitting up properly in her sit

"Just what the doctor ordered," Lila smiled holding up a videotape with one hand,

"How did you get it so fast?" Haley asked

"You don't wanna know," Lila said

"You sure no one's going to notice it's missing?" Haley asked

"One hundred per cent and don't ask me how I know cause you don't wanna know," Lila said with a faraway look before she shivered in disgust

"Anyway thank you so much," I said ready to cry my heart out

"Don't thank me yet we still have one more thing to do," Lila said

"Well won't you look at that you're not completely useless after all," Haley said

"You know if I wasn't trying to get into your pants I would rat your asses to the cops," Lila said

"And you shall be rewarded dearly for your corporation," Haley said making Lila hit the brakes suddenly making me hit my face against the seat hard,

"Really?" Lila asked hopefully

"Fuck," I groaned rubbing my nose that was aching badly

"What the hell Lila!" Haley yelled rubbing her forehead

"Sorry I got too excited," she sheepishly said starting the car again,

"Contain yourself jeez," Haley groaned

"Sorry," Lila apologized again, silence surrounded the car as we drove to the location I burned Veronica at.

"You sure this is the place?" Lila asked me

"Hundred per cent," I answered, Lila, got out of the car putting her torch on her phone

"Just head straight there should be a huge rock next to a stick that's where I burned her," I told Lila who nodded and headed into the dark forest alone,

"I fucking hope a bear rips her annoying ass apart," Haley angrily said resting her head back with a sigh

"You ok?" I asked her

"Do I fucking look ok," she practically yelled which was a bit unnecessary

"I know you put on this whole fuck everyone forte but lately it seems to have doubled what's going on with you?" I asked her with a raised brow

"I'm pregnant," she answered with a sigh, I choked on my saliva.

"What since when?" I asked

"Three weeks," she weakly answered

"You don't seem so happy about it," I gently said

"I'm not but Tyler is," she frustratedly said, I was guessing Tyler was the man she was recently seeing.

"Tyler being the guy you're boning right now?" I asked to which she weakly nodded, "But you are not ready for another kid?" I asked

"I know I tried to tell him that but he just doesn't seem to get it through his thick skull," she said

"So what are you going to do?" I asked her

"The only thing I can do" she said

"Abortion," I said the dreaded word

"What other choice do I have?" She asked

"Won't he be devastated though?" I asked

"He'll break up with me on the spot," she cried

"Well, is he a good man then?" I asked

"Honestly the best man I've been with yet," she sighed

"Then make it work Haley don't let your past get in the way of building a good life for yourself and your son. Kyle needs a father figure and if this man is as great as you say then put a damn ring on it," I advised

"You know you're honestly right it's just not that simple," she said

"Oh but it is sister all you gotta do is just say fuck it and go for it consequences be damned, get your man and get that life you want," I said

"You know that might be the best advice you've ever given me, thank you," she smiled gently

"Anytime and if things get too much I'm always here to give a helping hand," I said

"If your ass isn't in jail then," she commented making me chuckle

"Ya," I sighed before my phone rang,

"Hey is everything alright?" I asked

"Ya, but what kind of idiot leaves their lighter at a crime scene?" Lila asked making me gasp

"That's not mine it's Cole's take it right now," I practically yelled over the phone

"Chillax I already took it I'm coming back now because I heard some creepy shit and I'm scared to hell," she whispered into the phone before hanging up

"Everything on track?" Haley asked

"Ya, she's coming back now," I said

"ok," we waited patiently in silence for Lila to arrive,

"Damn it's creepy out there," she shivered standing outside the car

"What are you waiting for?" Haley asked

"Oh I'm not driving I'm too shaken up here," she said, with a sigh, I went into the driver's seat.

"Seat belts on," I said making sure Haley had hers on first but Lila didn't listen to me but pulled out a small see-through packet with a white substance inside which I guessed to be Cocaine.

"You're going to do that right now?" Haley asked shaking her head unbelievably

"You bet," Lila beamed snorting some up her nose with a content sigh,

"Moron," Haley murmured, I was just praying we didn't get pulled over because for one I wasn't completely sober and neither was Haley and Lila and I was driving with a pregnant woman. We had smooth sailing till we got back into the town and I was driving too fast and just our luck a cop pulled us over.

"Drivers licence?" The male cop asked me, I cursed inwardly remembering I left my purse at home.

"Don't have it on me," I awkwardly smiled

"Alright, step out of the car, please," he asked, to which I obeyed quickly. The cops scared the shit out of me so I never wanted to be on their bad side especially since now that I committed a crime.

"Howdy officer," Lila slurred with a wide grin waving to the cop like a little kid.

"Howdy ma'am," The officer said, noticing her drunk state, "Are you alright ma'am?" He asked her

"No, I am most definitely not these fine women who won't let me bone them who I most certainly do not know kidnapped me and are taking me to hell," Lila blurted, the officer looked confused wondering whether he could believe a word Lila was saying with how she looked.

"Ignore the high idiot, can we go now?" Haley asked

"Ma'am are you under any influence?" The officer asked me, I could see Haley mouthing no behind the officer but I couldn't lie I felt like the man had a lie detector or something.

"Yes," I quietly said

"Officer they drugged me," Lila cried hysterically, something clicked in the officer's mind and he pulled out his gun aiming it at my head, I might've pissed in my pants a bit.

"Put your hands behind your head," he ordered loudly, I quickly obeyed with tears streaming down my face as I feared for my life. I was petrified to the very core of my being,

"Officer there's no need for such hostility," Haley calmly said trying to get out of the car

"Don't move another muscle," the officer said pointing the gun at Haley and my mind went hysterical,

"STOP!" I shouted making the officer point that killing machine at me once more,

"I believe you're being a bit dramatic officer, our friend here just snorted a bit of cocaine and is blabbing shit," Haley said holding the plastic little sleeve Lila had on her, the officer finally lowered his weapon.

"My apologies," he quickly said, putting away his gun, I felt like I could breathe again.

"No troubles to show our sincere apologies for drinking and driving here's a little something for your troubles," Haley said pulling out a stack of cash from her purse

"A hundred k?" the officer asked in disbelief

"To make all this disappear," Haley said, the officer looked at Haley then back to the money and smiled like a fool,

"Done," he said and left.

I fell to my knees too weak to stand as the image of staring into the end of the barrel kept flashing on my mind over and over till I was practically hyperventilating.

"Oh you see what you did now Lila, you broke her," Haley angrily flicked Lila on the forehead

I couldn't breathe, I was shaking too much, I forgot how to breathe, how did people even breathe again, one minute I was staring at the gravel on the floor and the next thing I knew I was floating in the black abyss.
