"So, do you have a little crush on Steven now?" Shiela suddenly asked me.

I hit her quickly. "Why are you asking me things like this?" I asked her hysterically.

"Can't I ask about it? I just want to know if you guys like each other. You guys have been together for a few months already. Steven is better. He is better than that, Jake. Do not hesitate to date and follow the flow if you like each other. Do not stop yourselves!" Shiela said excitedly.

I hit her arm again. "Why are you thinking that way?" I asked her. "What if Steven heard this? Let's not make him uncomfortable." I added, worried about Steven learning about this.

"We are all girls here. We do not do that to each other! Your secret is safe with us. Don't you trust us?" Aira asked.

"I trusted you guys. You know that," I told them. "I just do not think it is right to do that to him. I just got out of heartbreak, and he is just with me because of our friendship. I do not want to break that and make him uncomfortable with me." I shared.

I do not want to ruin the friendship we already had.

"Crushing on someone is not bad, Sunny. It's just a little crush, and I do not think Steven would be uncomfortable about that. He is very adaptive, and you might never know his feelings." Melissa replied.

"Do you have a little crush on him or what?" Ella asked.

I shrugged my shoulders. "I do not know. Yes, sometimes I feel those butterflies in my stomach because it feels very unusual. I couldn't help but keep comparing Steven to Jake. I kept thinking, why can we do it when Jake can't," I shared. "Sometimes, Steven can make me shy, and I envy him for being too smart. He makes me so comfortable that I can share what I think freely because he will listen to me, whatever it is. He would even give some advice and take my concerns seriously,"

"When I caught Jake and his girl kissing that time, I could not speak or move. If he were not there, I would back out and be unable to confront him. When I ended our relationship, he was there and let me cry and bawled my eyes until no more tears were flowing. He even asked me to go out to wind up, and I am glad and thankful. Instead of staying in my bed and thinking about it, I diverted my attention and was happy rather than sad. I am thankful to him. I do not know if I deserve to like or have a crush on him when he is there whenever I need help." I added.

"You deserve to like someone, may it be Steven or not! Jake is not the only guy you could find!" Shiela said.

"Yes, Shiela is right. You are pretty and kind. You became a good girlfriend to Jake. Crushing someone is normal. You know, I have a lot of crushes, and I am waiting for someone to crush me back. Let's get our next boyfriend soon!" Mikaela shared.

She is right. I guess I have been stopping myself after what happened to my relationship with Jake. Maybe I am still scared, just thinking about trying again. I am still young, and it is just one of my experiences that should teach me a lesson so that I know better next time.

"But if we are talking about crushes, I think I will have a little crush on Steven's brother." Their eyes widened when I told them.

"Why him when you can just crush on Steven?" Mitchell asked, looking sad.

"Well, even I like Mavin." Shiela commented.

"Why? Was his brother more handsome?" Vice asked.

"They exactly look the same. However, Mavin is more built than Steven. Mavin loves smiling and making funny jokes." I talked about Mavin. I like those kinds of guys. They seem fun to be with as well.

"Really? We still have not seen his brother at all." The girls commented.

"I will show you guys later. We had a lot of photos on my phone since I was working on them." I finally shared what we were hiding.

We talked about it a while ago while eating at the restaurant. Steven told me that we could say to our classmates about us, my grandma and I, working on their house. Their eyes widened again, and they walked towards me.

"What do you mean by that?" Ella asked.

"Coincidentally, my grandma was working at their house—cleaning and making food for them. Then one day, I worked for my grandma because she was sick. I learned that she was working at Steven's house. Their house was big, and my grandma could not do that, so I decided to help her clean it." I shared.

"That is why I think we became closer after that. His parents are nice as well. They look so good. No wonder Steven and Mavin are handsome." I added.

"Oh my gosh! You have to show their pictures to us later." Beverly said excitedly.

I nodded to them. "Later." I told them.

After we bathed, they headed to our room to see the photos. "Steven smiling here was too good to be true." Shiela said.

"His brother was hot. No wonder you guys like him." Melissa shared.

"Their parents are different too. When you combine beautiful and handsome, the result would be better." Aira commented.

"If you cannot get Steven, then tame the older brother! Let's go!" Vice's suggestion made us laugh.

I will tell Steven that they know already. "I think we should go down now. We took a long time taking a bath and talking here. Our food might get spoiled, knowing boys." I told them.

"Now that you mentioned it." Aira added.

We hurriedly went down to see and do what we needed to do.

"We thought you were asleep already. You guys took so long!" Marco greeted us when he saw us.

"We are done with the barbeque and have prepared the rice already. We were about to fetch you guys." Philip said.

The plates already have rice on them. There is also a barbeque on them, with juice on our plates. I can tell that they did prepare everything.

"Let's eat now!" Gino said excitedly.

We walked to the long table and took a seat. Steven took a seat beside me. "What did you do up there? You almost took an hour just to take a bath." He asked me.

I drank my juice before facing him. "We had a fun long talk inside the bathroom. After that, we also talked about changing. I also told you about us working at your house." I shared the news.

"And you know what, Sunny said she has a crush on Mavin." Shiela suddenly said.

“I thought it was only girl’s talk?!” I asked her, raging.

Shiela shrugged her shoulders. "Well, I guess friends betray each other, and I just did." She mockingly said to me.

I look back to check Steven's reaction, and now he glares at me. "Huh, you should have invited him here instead of me." He said before he faced his food.

I tapped his arms. "They ask me if I have a crush. It's just a crush. Why are you mad at me?" I asked. "I just like Mavin because he is charming. Not to the point where I will fall in love with him. A crush is always a crush!" I explained to him.

"Unless you upgrade your feelings to his brother." Marco commented.

“It is just a little crush! Why are making a big deal out of it?” I asked, raging. They are teasing me again. When can I leave this teasing target? They did not answer and just started eating. "You are not mad, right?" I asked Steven.

He glanced at me before eating again. "Why would I?" He replied.

"Because you looked like one a while ago." I told him.

He shook his head. "I am not mad. I feel sorry for your eyes, and you have no taste in men." He mocked.

I hit his arms. "Are you saying that Mavin is not handsome?" I asked back.

"Why are you fighting with me when I just said those words? little crush your face." He commented.

"It is just that you are saying you are ugly too. Do you remember what you guys look like? Mavin is handsome, and so are you. If you keep saying that I have bad taste in men, you are ugly too." I explained my side.

His mouth was quite agape.

"Tss." He replied before going back to eating.

After we had our dinner, we had dessert. We also sang and danced while the song was playing. When the clock hit ten pm, we decided to stop the small party and rest. We all returned to our rooms after cleaning the side of the pool. We also cleaned the plates and utensils we used.

We all washed our faces and brushed our teeth. Since each room can accommodate five people, I am with Shiela, Aira, Ella, and Mikaela. After preparing ourselves, we lay on our bed. "I want to watch the drama already." I said and rolled to the side of the bed to look at my phone and see what I could watch before sleeping.

I am still not sleepy at all, and I think watching will help me become sleepy. Someone knocks at our door, but I let them open it and look at what I see.

"Steven?" Ella said.

"Can I come in?" I heard him ask.

What is he doing here?

"Yes, come in." Ella replied and opened the door for him to enter.

Steven met my eyes. "Let's watch the drama." He invited.

"Huh?" I asked back.

I was still trying to figure out what he was saying. "Let's continue watching the drama we are currently watching." He answered.

"Oh? Okay, but where?" I asked him again.

He pointed at my bed. "Here. Would you be comfortable watching in my room with the other boys?" He asked back. "I decided just to come here. They would be noisy if that happened. " He explained.

I took out my laptop and opened it. I put the mini table in the middle. I put the laptop on top of it and started to play the drama.

Now, I realize that Steven is much better than Mavin. Steven and I were able to do a lot of things. We had a lot in common and something we were both interested in. I guess having a crush on Steven is not that bad. I also like serious people but fun to be with. I have a flexible type when it comes to men.

"Mom called a while ago and asked if we could ask your family for dinner tomorrow at dinner." Steven suddenly spoke.

I turned to him. "Really?" I asked. "What about the food?" I asked and went back to watching.

"I think we will just order at the restaurant." He replied.

I shook my head. "Instead of ordering, we could just have dinner at home if it is okay for your family. You know, it is not that big compared to yours." I said.

"Your house is nice. I think that it would be better than in our house. I will talk to them about it." He replied.

"I will message Mom now so we can prepare early in the morning." I told him and took my phone out to message my mother.

"Mom said I need to ensure that Grandma is present tomorrow." He added.

I laughed. "Grandma is free tomorrow," I replied. "That would be exciting." I said.

"I will tell Mavin you have a crush on him." He told me.

"Why do you have to tell him? It is supposed to be a secret and just a little crush." I complained.

He snickered. "I do not care. I will do what I want to do. I would not say you have bad taste in men, but you still choose the wrong person."
