Erica's pov:

"Michael!!" I screamed while running towards him and wrapping my arms around him.

"Hey babe! How are you?" he responded sweetly in his deep voice. I started blushing a bit all of a sudden after hearing his voice.

Oh, how I missed his wide smile and his deep blue eyes so much!

"I'm fine-" before I could complete my sentence, I heard the door bust open with Ruby entering in casually.

"Oh my god! Did I interrupt something?" She asked with a smirk on her face.

I quickly released his shirt from my grip and pushed him a bit further from me.

"No! But can you at least knock?" I rebuked her with a blush and an annoyed look on my face.

I can't believe she barged in my office while I was spending some quality time with Michael! She ruined the moment.

"Well, I didn't expect to walk in on beauty and the beast right now." I heard her say.

"Rubyyyy" I screamed but as always, she didn't seem to care so I rolled my eyes.

I was about to yell at her more, but my eyes suddenly caught the attention of Michael's empty ring finger.

"Uh, Michael! Where's your ring??" I yelled while holding his ring finger.

"On our wedding, we had decided to wear the same type of ring forever! Where is it? Have you lost it?" I demanded for answers while staring at his naked finger.

"Calm down! He probably must have lost on the flight. Don't go all cuckoo on him especially since he just returned!" Ruby as always butts in! She never seems to mind her own business.

"Yes Erica! I might have lost it somewhere. Don't worry I'll get a new one." Michael assured while putting his arm around me.

His words calmed me down and melted my anger away.

"By the way, why did you go to India? Michael?" Ruby questioned out nowhere.

Both Michael and I got shocked! We couldn't tell her about what he did in India! Though she does some of my dirty work, she is the goody goody type of person who never wants to 'harm' anyone.

I was left stunned not knowing what to tell her. I looked at Michael trying to make him come up with some sort of excuse.

With silence draping the room, Ruby raised her eyebrows wondering why we weren't saying anything.

I stepped forward and rambled, "Well umm, he, uh went to uh India to.......meet his business partner!!" I stuttered while scrambling for words.

"Girl why you stuttering so much? I ain't have a gun pointed to your face!" She questioned with her sassy voice as always, narrowing her dark brown eyebrows.

"Oh, keep your mouth shut Ruby!" Just as I said that someone else entered my office without knocking! I guess no one respects me enough here! I'm sick of it! Can't they see I'm the elegant, charming boss around here! I don't deserve this harsh treatment.

As the person approached me further, I was able to identify him.

"Dr. Liam!" I said with delight in my voice.

"Hello Mr. and Mrs. Wayne and Ruby!" he greeted with a huge smile on his face. He wore his usual attire, a black shirt with black formal pants along with his briefcase and stethoscope in hand. He was my doctor or therapist you could say who has been treating me since last year for my anger and mental issues.

All of us gave him a hug as he was like family to us. He supported us no matter what and I really appreciated that!

Michael had left the room to attend a business call. I scoffed as he had just returned, and he is already busy with his work. I'll make sure to remind him that his attention is only for me!

"Ruby, can you give Dr. Liam and I some privacy to discuss a few things?" I ordered since he was about to start my daily examination and I also had to discuss something really important with him.

Instead of obeying me like she should, she stood there like a stubborn 3-year-old, just scrolling through her phone. Oh, why I had an idiot like her as my assistant?

"Ruby!" I screamed demanding her attention.

"Do I really look like I'm gonna listen to you right now? I'll go in 5 minutes!" she rolled her eyes and went back to scrolling away on her phone.

I was getting really heated up.

"Well Erica, Jack-" Dr Liam started talking but I immediately gave him a gesture to shut up.

Why would he mention Jack's name in front of Ruby?

"Jack?" Ruby questioned while narrowing her eyes at me.

"Is Jack fine? You told me to turn him against Olivia at the cafe so that they both could fight a little to cause Olivia some discomfort to satisfy your hatred for her. I hope things are happening just like you said, and nothing escalated to something ugly!" She added with a concerned look on her face.

"Yes yes, everything happened accordingly! Nothing major happened!" I responded with a subtle nervousness in my voice.

"Oh ok. Always ensure that your plans never end up hurting people. K?" Ruby wanted this assurance from me, and I nodded.

She started walking towards the exit when Dr. Liam opened his stupid mouth again "But-"

I immediately told him to shut up and lifted my head to look at the exit to ensure Ruby had left the room.

After seeing she left, I sighed in relief.

"Why did you lie to Ruby? She helps you in all your plans." Dr. Liam looked very confused while asking this question.

I composed myself and turned my head towards him with my eyes popping out. I was a bit frustrated to be honest!

"Because Ruby is some sort of "saint"! She never does anything that could harm someone to a certain extent! She doesn't know that what she did has caused Jack to blackmail Sam and Jessica to stay away from Olivia! She just thinks that her actions have caused some small fight between Jack and Olivia." I replied while giving out some laughter at the thought of Ruby's stupidity.

"Oh, so she doesn't even know what Michael did right?" he sat on my chair and asked this question while looking through my medical documents.

"No, she doesn't, and she will never come to know! God knows what she will do if she comes to know." I contracted my hands, making them into fists as I was getting a bit frustrated. I always have anger episodes.

"Well, what have you done about Jack?" I narrowed my eyes at him as I was eager for his answer.

He sighed and immediately turned the revolving chair towards me.

"Well after getting rid of Jack's old doctor by bribing him I was able to get myself replaced with him. And just like you planned, after the talk in the café, Ruby was able to get Jack to his clinic where I was there. He requested for medicine to help calm him down, but I injected P*P in him to make him aggressive before he encountered Sam and Jessica in the house."

"After he blackmailed Sam and Jessica, he fainted and then Jessica called me. They hoped that I would treat him, but the poor fools don't know that I will continue to instigate him and drug him again if necessary, to ensure he hurts Olivia in many ways which is what you ultimately want right?" Dr. Liam added.

After listening that everything went according to plan, I felt some sort of peace in my heart! It felt like music to my ears. A huge smile engulfed my face!

"My, my! You really outdid yourself! From being a personal therapist to being my partner in crime. Here's your money as promised!" I said in delight while handing him over $200,000.

He took the cash from my hands and starred at it as if he never saw such fortune in his life. Money does make people change! And this change is helping me a lot! I started giggling like a child who receives a bag of candy on Halloween! I was so excited that everything was going as per my plan.

"Well done Doctor! For now, you should pack your bags since we are heading to Australia tomorrow!" I smirked.

"Very well Mrs. Wayne!" he nodded his head while exiting my office.

Meanwhile, I started at my reflection in my hand mirror again. I would say that I was obsessed with myself. No regrets!

"Australia is gonna fun for me but a curse for Olivia!" I thought to myself with a grin on my face waiting for tomorrow!
