Chapter 44: Chapter 44

Ingrid's POV

I just helped Garcia organize the presentation. She will be the presenter. She's nervous for no apparent reason. Maybe she's nervous that her parents may ask too much.

"You can do that. You're great at talking," I said, smiling at her. She can't tease me right now so I know that she's really nervous.

Later on, the parents' meeting also started. All of the parents in high school, senior high, and elem are here. We also only answer parents' questions when the presentation is done. Some teachers are also here in front to answer their questions. I laughed softly when I realized why Gracia is nervous, so he's here, huh?

I just shrugged my shoulders and was about to follow some of my co-teachers when some parents and guardians approached me.

"Good morning, Ma'am Ingrid," they greeted.

"Good morning too." I just greeted them back.

"Ma'am, I have a question," they said. If they have a question, they would have done it earlier. I couldn’t help but just shrug with that but eventually just smiled too because I had no choice.

"All right, what is it?" I ask.

“Have you eaten? Let's eat outside, Ma'am," Uncle of one of my students asked.

"She already ate." I almost jumped in panic when someone grabbed my waist and pulled me closer to him. My lips parted when I saw Indigo who looked at some parents arrogantly. I nudge him because of that but he didn't even budge.

“Oh, so the news that you already have a boyfriend is true. I thought my nephew was just joking around.” The guy laughed so I just smiled.

"If you may excuse us," I said, smiling at them.

"What are you doing here?" I asked, still glaring at Indigo. He laughed and raised his hand so I looked at him. I saw Raya already playing with other children here.

"I'm Raya's parents," he said so I immediately raised an eyebrow at him.

"I thought we already talk about that?" I asked. We decided that he'll just look after Raya at home while I'll be representing Raya's parents.

"And fencing too," he added.

"We're fencing that garden," he said, still laughing.

"Is this a garden then?" I asked him, raising an eyebrow at him.

"We'll do it later, Babe," he said so I frowned.

"Babe your face. When did you ever call me babe? Bullshit," I said to him so he immediately covered my mouth.

"You're a teacher, Love," he said and laughed.

“What do you think of us? Not human?” I asked, still glaring at him.

"Why are you so annoyed?" He laughed but I just stared at him. Raya ran to where we are so her father smiled broadly at her.

"We'll go now, Tatay, Nanay?" she asked so I furrowed my forehead. I'm always not included in these two planning, huh?

"So where are we going again?" I ask.

"Tatay said that we will go to Baguio," she said so my eyes widened when I looked at Indigo.

“And you didn't include me? You have the guts, huh?!” I said before frowning.

"Of course not, come on. We've already packed your things," he said with a wide smile on his face. I can't believe I looked at them.

"I already said goodbye to your Papa, hehe," he added so I almost pinched him. He even managed to laugh.

"So, I'm the only one who really doesn't know about this?" I ask.

"You got it right." I gave him a glare so he pouted.

"You only agree when it's sudden," he said with a snort.

He even teased me because I was already angry with him. We just ate lunch first before we continued our travel.

Raya just leaned on me and slept soundly while my mind was wide awake because of our sudden walk. I just really put up with talking to Indigo.

"Chora wants to take a vacation in Nueva Ecija. She's upset because you didn't say we had a child and you didn't even take her as godmother," he told me. Even some of his friends want to go on vacation here. They just have no time right now.

“Does Chora have time to visit? All I know is that she's so busy with her work, huh?” I asked him. There's a lot Cho's salon branches that she's managing and add to that, they still have Cho cosmetics to take care of. Well, we also talk from time to time.

"She has time. She has a lot of time for gossiping," he said with a laugh.

"What did you say then?" I ask.

"I said she'll be a godmother in our next baby," he said so I frowned and looked at him in surprise but finally realized what he was saying so my jaw almost dropped.

"Silly!" I said so he just laughed. We are just like a cat and dog while we are going to Baguio.

When we arrived in Baguio, it was as if my eyes were resting because of its beauty. Raya is also awake now.

We also went for a walk immediately because we are only going to stay here until tomorrow. We still have a class the next day.

We first went to Burnham park for boating. Indigo and I were the only ones boating, Raya also tried but she was tired immediately. I can see the smile on my daughter's face because this is the first time we visited Baguio. Indigo also took a photo of her. He's genuinely happy while watching Raya.

When they also finished biking we headed to Mines View. She was really amazed there. Her eyes seem like she doesn't want to blink.

We even went to Wright Park for horseback riding and because Raya also wanted to wear Ifugao clothes, we let her. We also wear it because she wanted to take a picture. We were not even aware that it was getting dark with a lot of places we went to.

In the evening, after we ate dinner we went to the night market. We just held on tightly to Raya, scared that she would suddenly separate from us.

"Nanay, let's buy this!" She said, pointing to a heart-shaped shade.

"Where are you going to use that from?" I was just asking her first but Indigo bought it right away so I glared at him. He just smiled widely because of that.

"It's late. Don't wear it. You'll get blind," Eventually they just pouted before hiding the shades they bought.

They bought a lot of family outfits, of course, the initiator is Indigo.

"Look, it's nice, we'll wear it when we go back to Nueva Ecija," Indigo said who showed the shoes they bought.

"You know a lot," I said so he rolled his eyes at me.

"Let's wear it next time, Nay!" Raya said while smiling and showing the family jacket they bought. I just nodded and smiled at her.

"Why when Raya says it, you agree right away?" Indigo asked me, he even pouted at me.

“Why? Are you Raya?” I asked, raising an eyebrow at him. He laughed and shook his head. He just smiled widely at me again.

We ended our night just walking around on a peaceful night in Baguio. Eventually, we returned to the hotel as well because we were so tired.

I was the first one to wake up the next morning because of my alarm. We still have plans to go to Mt. Pulag to see the sea of clouds. That's what they are excited about.

I woke them up again. They were still sound asleep so when they woke up they could hardly talk. I can't stop smiling because Raya really inherited that from her father.

"Why are you smiling?" Indigo asked standing up to approach me. I handed him a coffee.

"Thanks but I need this energizer more," he said hugging me. I laughed and pushed him because of that.

“Are you courting someone like that? You have a lot of guts, huh?” I said so he just laughed at my neck. It was as if all the hair on the skin rise up. I also feel the strength of my heartbeat. I pushed him so he just laughed and took the coffee. Next, Raya hugged me and I hugged her back.

"Good morning, My love," I greeted her.

"When we become together. Will you also call me my love?" Indigo asked as his daughter was just watching us.

“My love your face! As if I'll answer us!” I laughed at him. He just sniffed and just shrugged.

When we finished tidying up, we immediately headed to Mt. Pulag. They were both still excited while Indigo was carrying Raya but they were both very disappointed when they saw that the sea of clouds they were looking forward to was gone. For no apparent reason, I laugh because they look the same. I was even able to take a video of them so they immediately glared at me when their eyes landed on me.

"Why are you laughing, huh?" Indigo asked followed by Raya who also narrowed her eyes at me.

We look crazy when we run around here. The sadness they had felt earlier was finally gone. I also took out the picnic basket I had prepared so we could eat breakfast. Raya is really enjoying so I can't help but be happy. As long as she's having a happy heart, my heart is full.

"Let's take a picture, Nanay, Tatay," he requested. I took a picture of Indigo and her. The next one is for the three of us. We took a lot of photos. They are really enjoying it.

When we finished, we headed straight to La Trinidad to head to the strawberry farm.

"Let's get so many. I'll give it to Titas, Tito, and Grandpa," Raya said so I smiled. She doesn't really forget them.

As per her request, we bought a lot of souvenirs for my siblings and for Papa when we finished our tour. She was also very tired when we got back to the hotel.

Indigo and I were already arranging our belongings because we were going straight home so we could rest there. I furrowed my forehead when I received a text from Gracia.

Gracia:

Hope all got to flex, Ma'am. You really are a blessed woman!

I was confused looking at the message I received from her.

Me:

Flex?

Gracia:

Look at your hot daddy's Instagram account. You're so pretty!

I followed what she was talking about even though I was confused. I looked at Indigo's Instagram account.

The first picture that I saw is the picture of two of them and then the shots of us, three. Until I saw my photo while just looking at the breathtaking place of Mt. Pulag.

'My Bestest View.'

Three words but even if I was no longer there I feel like I would also lose my breath just because of what he simply said. I just bit my lips so hard to stop the smile from escaping my lips.

“Hey, you have an ig? Why can't I find it?” I almost jumped in panic when I realize Indigo was peeking at my side.

"What? You idiot!” I said, glancing at him in shock. I was still holding my chest in extreme nervousness.

"As if you did something wrong, ah?" he laughed at the question. I ignored him and stood up. He even follows me on Raya's bed.

“What is your name? Follow me,” he whispered. I've been following him ever since, he just didn't know about it.

I followed him around the hotel room so he frowned at me.

"You said I should follow you," I laughed. After a while, he just laughed and shook his head at me.

"Silly," he said so I just laughed. I was really infected by his happy virus.

Later on, we also carry the belongings in the car as well as Raya who was sound asleep. When I got in the car, I just stared at him as he started to drive.

“What is it, Ingrid? You will melt me! I think you have a crush on me again,” he said to me so I laughed softly. It's more than that.

“Thank you…” l genuinely said.

"For what?" he asked.

"For making Raya happy… And me…" I said with a smile.
