Chapter 54: Chapter 54
Lit POV
Leana and I left early to go to the Bermuda Triangle. We received a call from Leona last night that they needed me in Bermuda, and they had already seen Von. I took Leana with me to Bermuda because she wanted to go there too.
I don't know what and why I'm needed in Bermuda; right now, what's important to me is seeing Von.
"I'm sure Von will hug you if he sees you." Leana said while driving. I just smiled because Leana is with me; none of Von's siblings are close to me except Leona. But because Franco erased Leona's memories of me, Leona treated me coldly.
I felt that Leana looked at me, then turned her gaze back to driving.
"Are you feeling awkward?" she asked, so I looked at her and immediately shook my head.
"No." I said, and she laughed as her eyes remained on the road.
"Don't be." "I know we're not that close, but I'm not eating a vampire." She said so, and I just smiled. It's a shame that she can read what's on my mind.
The whole flight, I was quiet, and Leana was the only one making noise; whatever things she was telling me, even though I didn't know them, I was still listening. I don't know, but I'm happy at this time. One of Von's siblings is now with me and talking to me. Before, none of them wanted to talk to me except Leona.
We arrived in Bermuda, and we immediately went to the hotel room number that Leona gave us yesterday. When we entered, we were immediately greeted by Fin's face. His eyebrows are furrowed, and he seems to be irritated.
"Grow up, Fin." I heard a man behind him say, Fin just passed us and went straight out the door.
"Are you making fun of Fin again, Freddrick?" Leana asked the man who spoke earlier. I closed the door and looked around to find Von.
"Leana, I need your help here." I looked to my side when I heard Leona's voice. She looked at me, smiled, and went inside again. Leana followed Leona, and I was about to enter when Creed blocked me.
"We can't go inside." He said this while blocking the door. I frowned and peered through the opening of the door. Creed noticed that immediately, so he immediately closed the door. I took a deep breath.
"Where's Von?" I asked, and Creed looked at me then turned his gaze back to the fish in the aquarium.
"Von's not here." I frowned when he said that.
"He's not here." "Didn't you see Von?" I asked.
"Yes, we saw it, but we didn't say that he was with us." He said so, and I was silent.
"Why?" I asked, and he looked at me and then stood up properly. He crossed his arms, and the person who spoke frowned.
"Because he doesn't remember us," he said, causing me to stop.
"What did you say?"
"I was the one who saw Von earlier. He was with Franco and Aphrodite, and when I approached him, he didn't recognize me. "And the other thing that surprised me was that Von called your name to Aphrodite," he explained, making my lips pucker.
"We sent you here today because we want to test whether Von can recognize you or not." "Leona is making a potion for Von, and there is no guarantee that it will be effective when Von drinks it." He said, "I seemed to be weakened by what he said. I thought Von was already with them.
"Then where is Von?" I asked, he started walking, and I immediately followed him until we arrived outside the hotel on the part of the beach where there are creatures swimming in the ocean.
"This is where I last saw Von." He said this while standing in front of me, and there was no Von in sight.
"If you want to see him, you can wait here because I'm sure Von will be hanging out here." He said that before leaving me alone here. I swallowed and looked around again, hoping to catch a glimpse of Von, but after a few minutes I saw no one.
That's why I decided to walk along the edge of the beach, until I decided to sit near the sea first. I watched the ocean as the sun was setting. I saw some mermaids swimming in the ocean while some were also sitting on the beach.
"Von, where have you been?" I asked myself.
I waited for over two hours at the edge of the beach, hoping to see Von now. But I didn't see even his shadow.
I stood up from my seat and started walking again.
"Lit." I turned to the one who called me, Fin. He was panting, so I frowned while looking at him.
"That Creed is really crazy. Did he leave you alone here?" He then turned to face me.
"Daddy wants to see you." He added that I was a little nervous because Von's father wanted to see me.
"W-why?" I stammered, and he just shrugged his shoulders in response. I took a deep breath to calm myself down.
"Let's go." I was about to walk away when I noticed Von standing behind Fin. My eyes widened when I saw him standing alone in front of the sea.
"Von..." I whispered and immediately teleported to his back. Suddenly, my heart beat faster as I looked at Von with his back to me.
"Von..." I called him, and my tears immediately formed while looking at him. I swallowed when Von looked at me. I couldn't understand his expression.
"Von..." I immediately started to cry, and I quickly hugged him tightly while crying with him.
"I thought I would never see you again." I said while hugging him.
"Yezrah is waiting for you. Let's go home, Von; we are waiting for you." I said, looking at his face.I was stunned when I saw Von's cold aura as he looked at me.
"Von?.."
"Sorry Ms. Do I know you?"
