Chapter 31: Chapter 31
Aphrodite POV
I looked at my cell phone before getting out of my car to know where I was going because I was already in the Bermuda Triangle.
But there was no text or anything so I tried to call the unregistered number that called me earlier to say I was there already.
The unreachable number bothered me. I got out of my car and looked around. Different kinds of monsters and some supernatural creatures are here and having fun. I looked around and tried to call the number that called me again, but as before, the number was unreachable.
Am I tripped up?
'Room 666'
I looked around when a voice whispered to me. My eyes stopped at the only hotel here in Bermuda. Room 666. I walked into the hotel with a frown. I went straight to the reception area.
"Excuse me, what floor is room 666?" I asked the receptionist.
"Are you Ms. Aphrodite?" I frowned when the receptionist asked my name. How did she know my name? Probably the one who called me and ask me to go here is the one with this plan.
"It's me." My answer. She smiled and took a key from a drawer and handed it to me. Even though I was confused, I accepted the Key.
"Our master has been waiting for you for a while." She said that made me even more confused. Their master? When did a monster become master?
"69TH Floor is 13 doors to the left." it pointed in that direction and then smiled. I just nodded and walked to the elevator confused.
When I entered the elevator, I felt nervous. I have a bad feeling about what the receptionist called 'master.'
I swallowed while waiting to get to the 69th floor of the hotel.
I took out my phone and dialed Liana's number. but it didn't answer so I was tormented.
I hid my phone and looked at the number going up, as the 69th floor got closer and closer I got more and more nervous. I took a deep breath when I saw that there was only one more floor, the 69th floor. It was like cold water was poured on me when I saw the number 69. The bell rang when I got to the 69th floor. The elevator door slowly opened.
The quiet space of the hotel lobby greeted me. I took a deep breath and walked out of the elevator. I looked around, there was no other creature but me.
As directed by the receptionist earlier, I walked to the left and stopped in front of the door with the number 666 on it. I swallowed and felt my sweat dripping. This is due to nervousness. My hand was shaking and I raised my hand to knock on the door but it opened on its own and Lit looked at me with a shocked reaction.
Is she the one who ask me to come here?
"What are you doing here?" We asked each other at the same time. She knotted her forehead and immediately pulled my hand and pulled me away from that door. I was confused and looked at her. We entered the elevator and she let go of me and looked at me.
"Go home." I don't know if she is ordering me or giving me a warning.
"You shouldn't be here. Why are you entering that door? Don't you know that's my husband and I's room?" she asked.
"I'm here because an unregistered number called me and threatened to kill Von if I didn't go," I said and crossed my arms. I saw the change in her emotions when I mentioned the name, Von.
"Are you with Von?" she asked. I didn't answer her, instead, I grinned and took a deep breath.
"You're already married, why are you still asking me about Von?" I will ask. She looked away and stood up straight.
"How is he? How are they and my daughter?" she asked.
"Did you send me here and scare me for you just to ask that question?" I ask. She looked at me.
"I'm not the one who ask you to come here." She said then took a deep breath. "I just want to know the condition of Von and our daughter." She added.
I felt irritated after hearing the word 'Von' but the irritation I felt immediately disappeared when I remembered Yezrah's condition.
"Your daughter needs you." After I said that, I saw for myself how her tears fell. I don't know if I should feel sorry for her crying or be angry.
"Looks like he already did what he planned." She whispered enough for me to hear.
"What did you say?" I ask. She immediately wiped her tears and looked straight at me.
"Go home. Go back to Von." She says.
"Do you know who did that to Yezrah?" I ask. She didn't answer, instead, she looked at the elevator door and got out. Here we are at the bottom of the hotel. I immediately followed her and blocked her way.
"Hurry up Lit, do you know the person who did it? Do you care about your daughter?" I asked. She frowned.
"What kind of mother are you?" Her ears seemed to prick up when I asked that. She was about to slap me but she didn't. Her hand was still in the air and she was about to slap me.
I saw how she could control her anger. Tears immediately flowed from her.
"Don't blame me for that because you don't know what I sacrificed just to protect my daughter." She said emphatically as her palm remained in the air.
"You have no right to ask me that matter because first of all, you have no connection with my life and my daughter's life." She added then slowly lowered her palm.
"I do everything to protect my child. So you have no right to ask me what kind of mother I am." She said tearfully and passed me.
I was left looking at her earlier place.
"Don't come back," I said and faced her. I saw her stop. She still turned her back on me.
"Don't come back to Von's life because we are happy now," I added. She didn't say a word.
I approached her and was about to touch her back when she suddenly faced me and slapped me.
When she applied her palm to my face I saw some events that will happen in the future.
I swallowed because of what I saw.
"You have no right to order me. Dumb ass." She says.
"Go home before I change my mind about taking you to my husband." She threatened then walked away.
I stood up straight and watched her walk away from me.
I don't know why but my tears flowed after seeing what would happen in the future.
Please don't...
Don't let it get to the point that Von will love me when I'm gone.
