Chapter 30: Chapter 30

Aphrodite POV

An unregistered number suddenly called me earlier so I said excuse to Von and that I will answer the call.

I left their house to get away from the two and then answered the call.

"Hello? Who is this?" I asked. No one answered so I looked at my phone thinking the call had been hung up. But the call was still ongoing so I put it to my ear again.

"Hello?" I asked.

(Aphrodite...) I frowned because a male voice called my name. I don't know who it is.

"It's me, who's this?" I asked while my forehead was wrinkled. I even heard his small laugh before he answered.

(Let's just say that I'm your guardian angel.) He said that made my forehead frown even more.

"Sorry, but where did you get my number?" I asked.

(None of your business my dear.)

The fuck?

"Wow, man," I said and hung up. They are creatures, nothing sensible can be done.

I was about to go inside when suddenly the number called earlier called again. I answered the call annoyed.

"Can you--"

(The daughter of your most beloved vampire will die if you don't come here to the Bermuda triangle.) My body stiffened from what I heard.

Is it possible that this person I'm talking to now has something to do with what happened to Yezrah? If yes, he is a dumbshit. He has no mercy. He sympathizes even as a child.

"Don't be a coward whoever you are. Don't make a toddler feel guilty about whatever you're planning to do." I emphasize. He laughed at what I said which annoyed me.

(I'm not a coward Aphrodite.) He said. (I can kill you right now in front of the house of your most beloved vampire if I want to.) My hair stood up when I heard that.

I looked around to see if anyone was looking at me but there was none.

I was scared suddenly because how did he know where I was?

Who is he?

(Now what I want is simple, go to the Bermuda triangle alone and go straight to the place I will mention before the end of this day. Because if not, I will slowly kill the daughter of your most beloved vampire Aphrodite.)

I swallowed what he said. Yezrah became important to me, I don't want anything bad to happen to the child or maybe to Von.

"Wait for me," I said emphatically before I hung up. I fixed myself before I went inside.

I saw Von looking at his daughter while Leona was doing something next to Yezrah.

I stood next to Fin holding his son then elbowed him.

"I'll pick up Leana first," I whispered. He looked at me.

"Take me a treat." He said and looked back at Von.

I looked at Von and I could see the concern on his face for his daughter. I don't want anything bad to happen to Von and Yezrah. Whoever called me must be the one behind whatever is happening to Yezrah right now. I am also sure that the person who called me has the medicine for Yezrah.

I patted Von's shoulder first and then said goodbye and that I was leaving. I left their house and immediately got into my car.

'Don't worry Von, when I come I will bring the medicine for your daughter.'

Von POV

I cried and looked at Yezrah whose face was already red. I can't even touch her because her body heat has doubled, something that worries me a lot.

Leona is doing something with Yezrah right now while Aphrodite says goodbye and that she is leaving.

"What did you do?" Fin asked Leona as she stood up.

"I just put a spell to know if her spirit is inside her body," Leona answered then looked at me.

"What is her soul inside her body?" I asked. She shook her head making me even weaker.

What is happening to my child?

"I need Leana so I can determine who did this to her," Leona said and took a deep breath.

"Right now, Yezrah's body is here first, since we can't touch her," Leona said then looked at me.

"I called Creed. He and his wife are on their way home," Fin said then hung up the phone he was holding.

"Someone needs to guard Yezrah's body. She can't be left alone because it's dangerous that somebody might get her body," said Leona. I didn't understand anything Leona said. My mind floated as I looked at my unconscious daughter.

It is very painful for me to see my child in this condition.

If only I could have taken the pain she was feeling, I would have done it.
